Merry Christmas from Oath Keepers!
All of us here at Oath Keepers wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas! This is the time for peace, family, friends, and for remembering the birth of Jesus Christ (which all too many forget at this time of year). The tradition of giving gifts was set by the three wise men who brought gifts to honor the baby Jesus. And we need to keep our focus on giving, not getting, at this time of year. It’s what we give to others – especially our love, compassion, fellowship, understanding and support – that matters most, not what we get.
For our children, it is best to teach them to also focus on giving rather than getting. Now is the. time to go out and deliver toys to the less fortunate, and to bring your children along so they feel the spirit of giving.
Many thanks to Florida Oath Keepers and friends who did just that with a toy drive in the Florida areas near Pensacola and Gulf Breeze where we recently did hurricane disaster relief. Thank you to Kelli Henderscheid, Air Force Veteran/combat medic, who volunteered during the disaster relief efforts, and then organized the toys/food drive. Some of the volunteers with toy donations and delivery were Kelli, her son Klayton, Alan Flowers, Dana, Paul Mormack, Connie, Scott, Mary Louise, George, Saundra, Liz, Shelley, and Jennifer and others who donated or helped.

Christmas is also a time for setting aside our quarrels and conflict, and being at peace. In past years I posted reminders of the famous Christmas truce that happened during WWI, when British and German soldiers set aside their weapons and met in no-man’s-land to play soccer, sing Christmas carols, exchange gifts, and share drinks. That is still worth remembering, as well as the many other times we have set aside conflict at Christmas time.
We have a great deal of work to do both within this org and within this nation, and we need to be ready to get back at it after Christmas. But for now, set aside the cares of the world and focus on what matters most. Re-charge, recommit, and come back ready to get after it.
Merry Christmas!
Stewart Rhodes
Founder of Oath Keepers

Merry Christmas to you as well, Stewart, and the entire Oath Keepers staff!
Thanks Stewart, this is all so very right on.
While I am writing I might as well also add: I am wondering if there is some way to form an organization called “Oath Keeper Keepers”. That is, Keeper as in one who takes care of and protects something (Examples: Inn Keeper is one who takes care of and protects an inn though he is not an inn, or a Lighthouse Keeper is one who takes care of and protects his lighthouse but is not a lighthouse) Therefore an “Oath Keeper Keeper” is one who takes care of and protects his Oath Keepers though he/she is not an official Oath Keeper themselves since they are not in the Military or Police. Here in MN we now have Keith Ellison as attorney General who defends and celebrates wolves who kill sheepdogs. How would you like to be a cop and have a boss who defends those who want you dead. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless and strongly protect all law enforcement in MN from both the wolves in the streets and in our government! Thanks for all you do Stewart, please remember and pray for us in MN!
Thank you Carl. But, to clarify, you can join Oath Keepers as an associate member if you are not prior service military, police, or first responder. So, no need to start some other support org – just join as an associate member, and encourage others to do so, and you can support us from within this org! Ultimately we are all in this together, and we really don’t treat associate members any different than full members. We will put you to work!
Our condolences on your having to deal with Keith Ellison. From what I know of him, he is an unrepentant Marxist who only converted to Islam because it furthered his Marxist war on this nation, and his political aspirations. An interesting intersection there, isn’t it? Good luck!
