Gov. Matt Bevin on the Tree of Liberty

Gov. Matt Bevin speaks at Values Voter Summit 2016. This article and speech are from before the 2016 election, but are just as valid now, if not more so.

by Michael Walsh – September 13, 2016

“America is worth fighting for ideologically. I want us to be able to fight ideologically, mentally, spiritually, economically, so that we don’t have to do it physically. But that may, in fact, be the case,” he told the crowd.

  1. You can only force the square peg so far into the round hole, and call so many good people racists and bigots for so long, and force vice onto virtue until you reach the moment the Governor is rightly referring to. When it comes, there will be no turning back because by that point it will have a life of its own.

  2. I concur and believe Mr Paine summed it up- “If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace.”
    Thomas Paine

He and therefore them are always attacking so good men do not have the luxury to take time off in this constant battle.
