Censorship Is What Happens When Powerful People Get Scared

Censorship has raised its ugly head once again. Our Constitution protects free speech, yet it appears in the platforms controlled by the powerful. They attack the messenger, because they haven’t the ability to forcefully and convincingly deny the message. They censor because the message scares them. They feel threatened ……… by words.

Michael Krieger, from Liberty Blitzkrieg wrote a piece that deserves attention:

Anyone who tells you the recent escalation of censorship by U.S. tech giants is merely a reflection of private companies making independent decisions is either lying or dangerously ignorant.

In the case of Facebook, the road from pseudo-platform to willing and enthusiastic tool of establishment power players is fairly straightforward. It really got going earlier this year when issues surrounding egregious privacy violations in the case of Cambridge Analytica (stuff that had been going on for years) could finally be linked to the Trump campaign.  It was at this point that powerful and nefarious forces spotted an opportunity to leverage the company’s gigantic influence in distributing news and opinion for their own ends. Rather than hold executives to account and break up the company, the choice was made to commandeer and weaponize the platform. This is where we stand today.

Let’s not whitewash history though. These tech companies have been compliant, out of control government snitches for a long time. Thanks to Edward Snowden, we’re aware of the deep and longstanding cooperation between these lackeys and U.S. intelligence agencies in the realm of mass surveillance. As such, the most recent transformation of these companies into full fledged information gatekeepers should be seen in its proper context; merely as a dangerous continuation and expansion of an already entrenched reality.

Tucker Carlson gave his thouights on Krieger’s article:

Shorty Dawkins

  1. Justice William O. Douglas, Terminiello v. City of Chicago (1949): “The vitality of civil and political institutions in our society depends on free discussion… It is only through free debate and free exchange of ideas that government remains responsive to the will of the people and peaceful change is effected. The right to speak freely and to promote diversity of ideas and programs is therefore one of the chief distinctions that sets us apart from totalitarian regimes.”

Justice William Brennan, Texas v. Johnson (1989): “If there is a bedrock principle underlying the First Amendment, it is that government may not prohibit the expression of an idea simply because society finds the idea offensive or disagreeable.”

Alexander Hamilton, Federalist 33: “…If the federal government should overpass the just bounds of its authority and make a tyrannical use of its powers, the people, whose creature it is, must appeal to the standard [The Constitution] they have formed, and take such measures to redress the injury done to the Constitution as the exigency may suggest and prudence justify….”

Remember that any and all corporations that received any type of assistance from the American people through their representatives, etc who serve within our governments are required to follow the US Constitution. IF, they do not do so, they must leave this nation and not receive any type of benefit while going, nor can they take their physical business with them until it has been decided which percentage the American people funded them and retained within our nation. They lose all business status within our nation.

Oh, and if those who SERVE WITHIN our governments funded any – thing, person, entity, foreign nation, foreign entity, etc – which is not on the list of those things within their LAWFUL authority to fund in any way, then the people at all levels involved in that unLawful action are personally responsible for that funding.

Some examples of unLawful funding and/or actions would be foreign aid, military aid, etc; selling, gifting, trading, etc military weapons of any sort to any foreign nation, foreign entity, to LEA’s, etc because the US Constitution in Article 1, Section 8, Clause 16 says that those items are to go to the Militias of the several states (my ‘interpretation’); education, domestic regulation (beyond that delegated), Remember that neither those who SERVE WITHIN the military, the legislature, the judicial own nothing beyond their personal property, they SERVE (at all levels) the American people, and those items created, purchased, etc in the American people’s name belongs to the American people. It’s creation is allowed in writing, and the purpose for which it can be used; land (beyond that delegated/granted); etc

So did facebook, twitter, etc receive any type of funding, be it less property tax, special dispensations, actual aid, etc from those who serve within our governments? Then they are beholden to the American people, and the CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC for that action and required by that generosity to follow the US Constitution as the supreme LAW of our nation, and to follow the Constitution of whichever state they reside in. They use the American people’s internet to do business. That action then requires that they follow the Constitutional Republic that is our government and in writing .

Those who serve within our governments are REQUIRED to protect the RIGHTS of the people of this nation, THAT is why our governments were created.

Thomas Jefferson: “The several States composing, the United States of America, are not united on the principle of unlimited submission to their general government; but that, by a compact under the style and title of a Constitution for the United States, and of amendments thereto, they constituted a general government for special purposes — delegated to that government certain definite powers, reserving, each State to itself, the residuary mass of right to their own self-government; and that whensoever the general GOVERNMENT ASSUMES UNDELEGATED POWERS, ITS ACTS ARE UNATUTHORITATIVE, VOID, AND OF NO FORCE: …”

  2. OK – I think most of us get that the MSM and Tech Left are not guardians of free speech and, in fact, are distribution channels for propaganda. So outside of admiring the problem, what can be done? An in-your-face-call to move off of the social media monopoly seems like a good start. How about an Oathkeepers channel on Real.Video or other liberty oriented social media provider?

  3. I have been under certain problems and I have not had a chance to finish the security issues post that will be in the forums.
A quick summary of must have facts:
Foremost, if you are using the following, your security when using your devices is null and void and breached.
Your communications are not secure, period.
Windows, Mac OS, iPhone, Android, Linux. These are not secure and Windows 10 freely admits to sending your data back to them. They refuse to even disclose what is sent.
Linux has been refusing to make security a priority, period.
Android is a modified version of Linux. We all know how many times it is regularly breached.

The most secure operating system, by far, is OpenBSD at
This is the only operating system that has taken a hard response to the recent hardware disasters that have surfaced under especially Intel, but also less serious problems under AMD.
No other operating system has fully protected security by refusing to put in full protection as issues are discovered.

I am willing to help anyone learn to use it. Please respond to me in the forums.
It will require learning some new ways of doing things, but anyone who wants to, can learn it quickly.

I am furious with all of this censorship and data collection. I am using OpenBSD right now.
As soon as I obtain a new hard drive, I will be removing the windows hard drive and putting a new one in that only runs OpenBSD. All programs that do the same tasks as paid for software are free under OpenBSD from other Open Source and it’s own built in software.

A quick note, besides hardware security problems that have truly proven disastrous, computers also have a BIOS on the motherboards. These do need to be updated and it may be possible that these are also compromised. But updating these can also improve both security and better functioning of the hardware, too.
Windows has unacceptable access to your BIOS and removal of Windows hard drives is the only cure for this.

I personally recommend removing Facebook as an app, disabling it if it is built-in on your phones.
You can more safely use it through your web browsers on a phone.
OpenBSD can easily be run off of a small flash drive, which is what I am doing right now.
