Australian Prime Minister: Changing Statues, Rewriting History is “Stalinist”

The movement to remove Statues that has gone wild in the U.S., is all about rewriting history. just as Josef Stalin did. I have yet to hear any of the Social Justice Warriors call for the removal of the statue of Albert Pike in Washington DC. He was a Confederate General and one of the founders of the Ku Klux Klan, yet the SJWs are silent about the Pike statue. I reject ALL attempts to remove statues and flags, as being an effort to rewrite history. I have no use for the Ku Klux Klan and Albert Pike, but they are a part of our history, like it or not. Freedom of speech is not about speech that we agree with. It is about the free expression of ideas; good and bad. – Shorty Dawkins

A voice of reason in a sea of insanity.

Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull announced on Friday that attempts to replace or modify statues of English colonialists were reminiscent of Stalin.

The Democrats in America are committed to erasing American historic figures from public viewing.

Democrats have removed or vandalized statues of Confederate figures, Thomas Jefferson, Catholic saints and even Abraham Lincoln in the last month.

Joseph Stalin was famous for erasing purged figures from Soviet history.

Reuters reported:

Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said on Friday that calls to replace or modify statues of English colonialists, including explorer Captain James Cook, were tantamount to a “Stalinist” rewrite of history.

Pressure has grown in the wake of the furor over Confederate monuments in the United States to reconsider statues in Australia that some deem offensive to the country’s indigenous people.

Sydney, Australia’s largest city, is deciding whether to alter a monument erected in Hyde Park, 1879, to commemorate Cook, who charted Australia’s east coast for the first time.

At issue is the engraving on the base of the statue, which says “Discovered this territory, 1770”. Aboriginal people had lived on the continent for an estimated 60,000 years before Cook dropped anchor in Botany Bay.

Sydney City Council has referred the issue, along with a second statue of Governor Lachlan Macquarie, the administrator who turned the British penal colony into a free settlement, to an indigenous advisory board.

  1. Our pathetic congress should be passing legislation that protects American history but for the last 8+ years they have been cowards at best. Maybe they should tear down Hollywood for it offends me as well as most colleges.

  2. Something that I and others predicted right at the election of Trump, was the Progressive Ideologues becoming violent and starting a Civil War of sorts. This weekend there are very militant groups forming all over the US for protest, and protest squashing. BAMM is one of them in California, but I just read about this ANTIFA group in Philly.
This self righteous violence to an end is very dangerous. What’s even more dangerous than the actual actions are the Central Handlers that are spewing this crap, but most dangerous of all are the participants that don’t even know WHY they are performing the acts…It’s about to get ugly gang.

    1. Greg I think it is ugly right now. Very ugly, ugliest I have seen in my life time. Only God knows the time, but I would like to see His Son return NOW! Maranatha!

  3. They refuse to tear down the Pike statue because he was a very high level Freemason…And they are the ones behind this ugly agenda at play…Ever wonder why we are not taught about the masons(The hidden hand) in school?
