Pence Tells Naval Academy Grads: Trump ‘Will Always Have Your Back’

By Jack Davi on May 26, 2017

Vice President Mike Pence told the 2017 graduates of the United States Naval Academy they are entering a new era as they begin their service to America.

“President Donald Trump and I will not rest, we will not relent until we rebuild our military, restore the arsenal of democracy, and ensure our soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines, and Coast Guard have all the resources that you need to accomplish your mission and come home safe,” Pence said. “That is our pledge to each of you.”

“Let me be clear — the era of budget cuts of the armed forces of the United States is over,” Pence said, referencing President Donald Trump’s proposed fiscal 2018 budget that increases defense spending by 9.8 percent.

Pence also told graduates that the Trump administration is there with more than money.

“And I’ll make you a promise, no matter where you’re called to serve, no matter what the mission, this commander-in-chief will always have your back,” Pence said at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, later calling Trump the “best friend the armed forces of the United States will ever have.”

Pence said the nation is grateful to the graduates who are stepping up to defend freedom.

  1. “Vice President Mike Pence told the 2017 graduates of the United States Naval Academy they are entering a new era as they begin their service to America.”

Yep, more fodder for their UNLAWFUL wars and invasions. No, the ONLY way these graduates will serve America is to say No! to unlawful orders; to read and KNOW the US Constitution which is what they are supposed to SUPPORT and DEFEND, etc.

Please, any who read this (and this is MY opinion), tell those graduates about the US Constitution, about their Oath (though my understanding from a nephew that they Oath is now to the US President since the last of Obama’s time – anyone know this for sure?) which is REQUIRED in writing to be to “support and defend” the US Constitution NOT a person, office, group, etc.

Pence is at the very least a domestic enemy of the USA.

    Cal
If there were never intended to be action to defend the Constitution from those who are domestically attempting to destroy its power and authority, why would each Oath require it of those who take the Oaths?

Chief Tecumseh: “When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.”

    1. The wordings of the current oath of enlistment and oath for commissioned officers are as follows:

“I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.” (Title 10, US Code; Act of 5 May 1960 replacing the wording first adopted in 1789, with amendment effective 5 October 1962).

“I, _____ (SSAN), having been appointed an officer in the Army of the United States, as indicated above in the grade of _____ do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter; So help me God.” (DA Form 71, 1 August 1959, for officers.)

  2. Mike Pence is my former governor, and one of the most decent, ethical and moral men to achieve high office in my lifetime. For the life of me I can’t comprehend the visceral hatred of him by so many on the Left, particularly when the same people praise those who have treated their oath like toilet paper and the American people like serfs instead of their employers.
