  1. Prepping must be a lifestyle to survive a long term downturn in today’s society. I began prepping a few years ago and found it to be very fulfilling. I now have a small orchard that is coming to bloom in its entirety (Plums. apples, oranges, pecans, blueberry, raspberry, pear and a garden. It has not been easy starting something I haven’t practiced since helping my parents with canning and gardening during my childhood The relearning process was very frustrating but well worth the effort after a few years when all the accumulated work begins to produce.
