McCain: "The New World Order Is Under Enormous Strain"

This article comes from

It was a bumper day for John McCain when on Friday Donald Trump’s Republican nemesis gloated as Trump’s “art of the deal” collapsed in the last minute, after the President and Ryan-led effort to repeal Obamacare suffered what appears to be a terminal setback. In the wake of Trump’s misfortune, McCain renewed his calls on Friday for a return to a legacy neocon status quo, when speaking at the Brussels forum, said that the world “cries out for American and European leadership” through the EU and Nato, and said that the EU and the US needed to develop “more cooperation, more connectivity”.

In a “new world order under enormous strain” and in “the titanic struggle with forces of radicalism … we can’t stand by and lament, we’ve got to be involved,” said McCain who is now chairman of the armed services committee in the US Senate, quoted by the EU Observer. “I trust the EU,” he said, defending an opposite view from that of US president Donald Trump, who said in January that the UK “was so smart in getting out” of the EU and that Nato was “obsolete”. He said that the EU was “one of the most important alliances” for the US and that the EU and Nato were “the best two sums in history”, which have maintained peace for the last 70 years.

Further attacking Trump’s global worldview, McCan said that “we need to rely on Nato and have a Nato that adjusts to new challenges.” He noted that “the EU has too many bureaucrats, not much bureaucracy,” but added that “it’s not the only place on earth with that problem.” He said that he was “still wondering what the overall effect of Brexit will be” and that he did not know “if this is the beginning of a serious problem for the EU”. McCain did not disagree, however, with Trump’s demand that European countries increase their defense spending for Nato.

McCain also revealed he hasn’t met the President Donald Trump in person since he took office, and he urged Trump to reach out to his opponents—Democratic and otherwise—ala Ronald Reagan if he wants to repeal Obamacare. “Do some outreach. Get to know some of these Democratic leaders,” he said. “You can find common ground.” McCain said he’d met Trump “some years ago” when he was a businessman, but had not met him since. McCain said he did speak “almost daily” to National Security Adviser Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster and Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, however.

  1. “New World Order under enormous strain”, those are the sweetest words I ever heard from McCain!! /;-D

  2. Anyone that is against the sovereignty of the US is a traitor, and a treasonous bastard.
Are you listening McCain. One more time huh?

  3. “McCain also revealed he hasn’t met the President Donald Trump in person since he took office, and he urged Trump to reach out to his opponents—Democratic and otherwise—ala Ronald Reagan if he wants to repeal Obamacare.“”

No. The day Trump took the Oath and the office he swore to PRESERVE, PROTECT, and DEFEND the US Constitution, and assured us he took that seriously. To really throw a monkeywrench into the mix and clearing the swamp, all President Trump needs to do is to work on PRESERVING the US Constitution. That would immediately dump “Obamacare” (tick off big Insurance Co., etc), the Federal Reserve (ticking off banking), wars of aggression (ticking off the UNLAWFUL Pentagon, high level military, and military defense contractors, banking, CIA, corporations, etc); TSA, DHS, BLM, etc; require that ALL who serve within the federal and state governments in every position took and KEPT the Oath to the US Constitution or face charges – part of seeing that the laws are faithfully enforced).

    Etc, etc.

He would go after all who have not kept their Oath considering that is a felony and Perjury. He would charge Hillary Clinton, and those who assisted her with Treason, J. McCain, etc.

He would make sure that the Militia of the several states were being used for the purposes of Enforcing the US Constitution and each state’s Constitution, Enforcing and keeping the “Laws of the Union” (which are constitutional laws ONLY), Protecting the country against all enemies both domestic and foreign, and “suppressing Insurrections and repelling Invasions”.

    1. Yes Cal, he would. However, I’m don’t see it getting done. Do you?
In fact, I notice that these things, (investigating/prosecuting Clinton, dumping Obamacare, ending illegal wars, etc., etc.), are indeed not being done. What I do see is the exact opposite.
There are more Goldman Sachs affiliated banksters in this administration than were even in previous ones, more “warmongers” also. Obamacare is not being repealed, instead just attempted alterations, leaving government in control of healthcare.
More bombings, the same surveillance of US citizens, no dismantling of any 3 letter agencies, etc., etc.
In fact, it appears that “Draining The Swamp” simply meant removing the alligators to make room for the crocodiles.
For all the hopes that folks had, it certainly looks to me as if it is just “Business as Usual”, with a little different sounding rhetoric. Along with “Tweets”.
I give credit where it is due, bringing the fake news and corrupt CIA issues to everyone’s attention is a good thing, and we are not under the rule of the Hildabeast.
But what is being done to correct the problems?
I could type for hours on these issues, but most of us already know the kind of problems we face, so I’ll not attempt to preach to the choir.
If I’m missing something, I feel certain that one or more of the hardcore Trump supporters will point it out to me, although the most likely response will be that he hasn’t been given enough time yet.
How much time does it take? I think what is needed most is not time, it is the will.

  4. McCain is a huge bag of pus on the United States of America its Constitution and its citizenry. The sooner we scrape him clean out of the Senate the better!
