New U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley ‘Hits the Ground Running’

By Mike Miller

Less than 48 hours after being sworn in as the new U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley “hit the ground running,” as she arrived to present her credentials to U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres.

In what was tantamount to a “there’s a new sheriff in town” declaration, Haley made it clear that the “business as usual” of the last eight years is over.

“It’s a thrill to be here at the U.N. I will tell you that we have hit the ground running. There is a new U.S. U.N. You are going to see a change in the way we do business. It’s no longer about working harder, it’s about working smarter.”

In a not-so-thinly-veiled threat, Haley also made it clear exactly what the Trump administration expects from U.S. allies in the world body.

“Our goal is to show value at the U.N. The way we’ll show value is to show our strength […] have the backs of our allies, and make sure that our allies have our backs, as well. For those that don’t have our back, we’re taking names.”

  1. This is the same woman who trashed southern values, Southern heritage and the confederate battle flag. So I wonder exactly what value she is planning to show?

  2. Nikki Haley was one of the best governors that SC has had, she had some issues. So how did she
    trashed southern values, Southern heritage

    1. For clarity here, I am not a Southerner. I am an American whose family has been in this country since well before the revolution. As such I have a deep and abiding respect for our history. Hundreds of thousands of Southerners died over the issue of states rights. Nikki Haley denigrated those people and sacrificed their values on the alter of political correctness. She did so by tying the battle flag to “divisiveness” and “racism”. She caved to the leftist who demanded its removal using the Dylan Roof crime as an excuse. These are the same ideologues who remove the US flag from colleges or anywhere else that they can by invoking “racism”. Accordingly I have no respect for her whatsoever. She is a politician who will sacrifice that which is most sacred for the political moment and use it as a tool for historical revisionism.

  3. This is in response to Rhodes “Honorable exit for Ammon” article ; We are fighting a war on rural America, And the battlefront will shift unpredictably. The tides of this war brought us to Harney County, and the People there had no more say in becoming ground zero than the citizens of Gettysburg or Bastogne. No doubt many of the people of these towns, like the people of Burns, wished we would just go away, but the larger issues were an imperative. I’m speaking with credentials, namely BR, Sugar Pine, Malhure, and as one of the seven acquitted in Portland. Rather than a mistake, our takeover of Malhure was a new proactive dimension in the fight, And if any of you had been at Jeanettes John Day Meeting, you would have seen just how powerful and far-reaching our wake up call has been. An SRO crowd, about 800 folks, come over winter roads to a small town in Oregon. I might ask : When and how is Critical Mass going to be reached in this Liberty Cause ? How will we get the morale over this Corrupt and predatory Govt ? Well…That critical mass was in the air in John Day, and it never would have happened without Malhure.

We are not aware of any US investigative journalism touching the OSCE, as what is left of that group picks its targets carefully, avoiding anything where the hidden hand of major Western intelligence agencies might be involved. Media pros of well aware of the numerous tools such agencies have for inflicting state paid punishment on them.
