Merry Christmas To All

mangerIt is Christmas Eve in Montana. It is snowing, and very peaceful. I still have presents to wrap, and smile in anticipation of watching them being opened. After a turbulent year, it is nice to have this peaceful time to reflect, and to pause to remember what Christmas means. Christmas, regardless of your personal beliefs, is a traditional time in America, for good will to our fellow men and women, and to enjoy the faces of the children, as they anticipate the gifts of Christmas morning, as they watch the presents under the decorated tree, with colored lights, bulbs and perhaps some garlands or tinsel. It is a time for family, good food and friendly conversation.

For Christians, it is a time to celebrate the birth of Christ, and to reflect on the meaning of our faith. Still, the traditions of the Christmas season, such as the tree, St. Nick and many of the carols, derive from pagan sources; not that it really matters, for Christmas is a special time of year for believers and non-believers alike. It is a time of smiles, good will, joy and hope. The future always looks brighter at Christmas time. Soon, the realities of life will once more be in the forefront of our minds, but for a short period of time, we can put them on the back burner. It is time now for love, joy, family and hope.

From those of us at Oath Keepers, we wish you a very merry Christmas, and a happy New Year. May you be blessed with joy and love.

  1. Thank you for your article. We still have much too be thankful for. I appreciate the articles that are written through out the year. God help us as a nation to repent and turn to Him.

  2. Merry Christmas Shorty. Got snow..?? Just some crusty stuff here in southern NH. Best wishes for the new year and God bless oathkeepers everywhere.

      1. Classic Shorty…Just classic. Thanks for the laugh. I needed it. I wish we had the snow here. I love to go out in the woods after a good heavy storm. All that snow draping on the hemlocks and all kinds of critter tracks scurrying around on the forest floor. I think the dead quiet is the best. Gotta love it.
I hope you and yours had a very merry Christmas and best wishes for the new year for you and all your loved ones and Oathkeepers everywhere.

  3. Nice gesture. Remember the Winter Solstice celebrations invaded by Christianity after the beheadings of Saxons unarmed at that, 5000. A blood bath day massacre 782AD mind you at a treaty. Until the gentiles awake from the spell placed over them on how to behave I fear USA will one day by enemies will lead us to the slaughter house.
