Do You Understand the Electoral College?
Why does the Electoral College exist? Remember one thing; we do not live in a democracy, we live in a republic. Since the days of Woodrow Wilson, when he proclaimed we must “make the world safe for democracy”, politicians and academics have been referring to our form of government as a democracy, which real patriots recognize is false. We have a republic, which places limits on the “will of the majority”. They feared an actual democracy. The Electoral College was chosen by the Founders as a method of leveling the playing field between big and small States. Following is a video about the Electoral College.

What was it Ben Franklin said “We gave you a Republic if you can keep it.” When we remove the electoral college we lose our Republic.
