The Truth About Fidel Castro And The Cuban Revolution

castroFidel Castro is dead. His memory will be glorified by the leftist media, just as his fellow revolutionary, Che Guevara, was glorified, but the simple truth of the matter is that Fidel Castro was a brutal dictator. Truth can only be hidden if those who know the truth remain silent, leaving liars and perjurers to write history. If Castro’s Cuba was a paradise, as many leftist collectivists would have you believe, then why did so many try to leave paradise?

In the following video, Stefan Molyneux gives a history of Fidel Castro, and his “revolution”. Castro could not have climbed to the pinnacle of Cuban power if the American mainstream press had not propagandized in his favor. Stefan shows us how important the American propagandizing was to his success. They lied about him, pure and simple, claiming he was a true democrat, when his revolution was heavily infiltrated by Marxist-Leninists.

Fidel’s brother, Raoul, who now rules Cuba, once said he wished to drop three atomic bombs on New York.

Should we mourn the passing of Fidel Castro? I say no. Rather, we should be glad of his passing, for he was a brutal dictator, who terrorized the Cuban people.

Shorty Dawkins

  1. You nailed it Shorty. Each and every one of the liberal propaganda outlets were singing this piece of garbage praises all day. It is sickening to know there are so many in this country who think this dog turd (no offence to dog turds intended) is some kind of hero. We have entire generations of brain washed idiots living among us. Our schools and colleges are full of them.

  2. I read an article on the Washington Post Sunday afternoon about his death, and was shocked that they gave a pretty glowing account of this guy’s reign of blood. I was even more shocked when reading the comment section. The socialist and Marxist-leaning bots were out in force, and by 1 pm, some of their comments had 400, even 500 and more up-votes. Occasionally I came across a comment written by surviving refugees or their families, recounting the horrors that they lived with daily under the Castro regime. Unless, of course, you lived in Havana and were a part of the regime or related to someone who was.

One lady commented that, when she returned periodically to visit relatives, she always left her shampoo, conditioner, aspirin and other toiletries with her family, especially the aspirin, since OTC meds were nearly impossible for them to get. The much-exalted “world-class” medical care was only available in Havana, again for members of the regime only. Their food rations only last around 3 weeks, so they have to eat less to make it stretch for 4 weeks. When I clicked off the story, her comment had around 75 up-votes.

Growing up, I remember my Dad telling us that the media had to be lying, ’cause he knew Che Guevera was a communist, so if he was hanging around Castro, likely both of them were. Anyway, since the media STILL seems to be cheerleading for the dadgum commies, it’s our responsibility to counter it in any way we can. Good video, thank you for sharing it, Shorty.

    1. Talk to a Peter Pan kid. Castro ‘s men raped and beat beautiful young women until they were made ugly and permanently retarded – if they lived. IDK why so many on the island have drunk the Kool-aid.
