Obama Urges Illegal Immigrants to Vote Without Fear of Getting Caught

obama2This is unbelievable! The President is telling illegal immigrants to vote, because they won’t get caught. Talk about going down into the gutter, and bringing the country with him. This is just another instance of the Democrats ‘do anything to win’ philosophy. They want power: period. – Shorty Dawkins

President Barack Obama has urged illegal immigrants to vote on the grounds that they will never get caught if they do.

Obama recently sat down for an interview with Gina Rodriguez for the Hispanic-oriented YouTube channel mitú.

She asked the president what he believes are the consequences of an illegal immigrant voting.

“Many of the millennials, Dreamers, undocumented citizens – and I call them citizens because the contribute to this country – are fearful of voting. So if I vote, will Immigration know where I live? Will they come for my family and deport us?” she asked.

Although by law, only American citizens are allowed to vote, Obama noted there is a wide gap between the laws as they are written and what is actually enforced.

“Not true,” Obama replied. “And the reason is, first of all, when you vote, you are a citizen yourself. And there is not a situation where the voting rolls somehow are transferred over and people start investigating, etc. The sanctity of the vote is strictly confidential.”

  1. Sounds like he told the feds to stand down on enforcing voter fraud but that still leaves the violation of State Laws against voter fraud that can be enforced.

  2. she is completely wrong at :24. Citizenship is a legal status. Author, please indicate at what timemark Mr. Obama urges “illegal immigrants” to vote. I don’t hear it in this video.

    1. Chuck,
He never says it directly, but the way he responds to her: “If you vote, you are a citizen”, rather than simply saying “only citizens can vote”, after which he talks of no one getting investigated, is a tacit encouragement for “undocumented people” as she calls the illegals, to vote. It is the rather obvious impression he gives, that tells me, and I’m sure others, that he is encouraging illegals to vote.

If you are asked if it is okay to steal bread if you are hungry, and you respond by saying, “Theft is wrong, but you won’t get caught”, what would be the message you have given the hungry person? It isn’t just what words you use, but the manner in which you say them. Also, it can be what you don’t say that carries the meaning.

      1. Right on Shorty. That was the impression I got from the slime ball in chief. I guess a few of the people here have a bit of trouble reading between the lines. Perhaps they should consider that this guy got 8 years in the white house simply by being very good at lying….or was it because the majority of the voters are incredibly gullible..?
