Plans to Request Recounts Teams with Hillary Clinton in Attempt to Overturn Election (Updated 11/26/2016)
I considered starting a new article when I read that the Clinton Campaign was formally joining with the Green Party (Jill Stein) recount initiative. Since so many people have this page bookmarked for updates, I decided to amend this article instead. As of 11/26/2016, the Clinton campaign has joined with the Green Party in an apparent attempt to overturn the results of the most recent Presidential election. Many have suspected that it was the Clintons behind the Green Party recount initiative all along. Considering the vast amount of money that Ms. Stein was able to raise in the past 72 hours, this may be more than just a suspicion.
“Because we had not uncovered any actionable evidence of hacking or outside attempts to alter the voting technology, we had not planned to exercise this [recount] option ourselves, but now that a recount has been initiated in Wisconsin, we intend to participate in order to ensure the process proceeds in a manner that is fair to all sides. If Jill Stein follows through as she has promised and pursues recounts in Pennsylvania and Michigan, we will take the same approach in those states as well.” Marc Erik Elias – Attorney, Hilary Clinton for President

I think it is fair to point out that Ms. Stein has raised twice as much money in the past 72 hours for this “recount” initiative as she did for her entire Presidential campaign. Clearly she has had some help. With $6M in the coffers, the amount of meddling that she and the Clinton attorneys can accomplish is nearly endless. In a statement released to the press last evening regarding the Wisconsin recount filing, the Green Party stated that “The exit polls indicated that [Trump] should have had 44.3 percent” of the vote,” Martin said, noting that Trump instead received about 48 percent.” The fact is that the exit polls for Wisconsin indicated that Trump should have received 48.5% of the vote, not 44.3% as stated in the Wisconsin filing. It is this type of disinformation (lie) that will keep this ball in play for a long time to come. It is this type of propaganda (lie) that will keep money flowing into the Green Party coffers.
This whole initiative is almost certainly a scam meant to give recount and ballot access to the Clinton campaign operatives. Many see it as simply a thinly veiled attempt to overturn the results of the Presidential election. What isn’t mentioned in either the Green Party filing or the Clinton campaign release is the fact that the exit polls for Wisconsin indicated that former Secretary Clinton should have only received 45% of the Wisconsin vote. She received 46.9% of the vote. This is enough of a difference to cause concern. We completed an analysis of individual Wisconsin precincts. It is clear that the difference between the exit polls (45%) and the actual results (46.9%) can be found in Milwaukee and Dane Counties. The current “official” difference between Mr. Trump and Mrs. Clinton in Wisconsin is 27, 257 votes with Mr. Trump winning the State. The exit polls indicate that Mr. Trump should have a lead of 103,062 votes. This is a significant difference. Both Milwaukee and Dane County use the AutoMark voting machines. These machines do produce a paper ballot than can be machine or hand counted. In either case, if the exit polls are even remotely valid, Mr. Trump should extend his lead in Wisconsin as a result of a recount. I hesitate to speculate on why the difference between the exit poll and actual results are so significant in these two Wisconsin Counties, but mail-in ballots are a factor. The officials will need to closely examine these mail-in ballots to determine if there are indications of fraud. Machine fraud is unlikely as paper ballots are available for review. Precinct vote tabulation errors could be at fault, but these types of errors would be caught during a recount.

Jill Stein, the Green party’s presidential candidate, is prepared to request recounts of the election result in several key battleground states, her campaign said on Wednesday. Stein launched an online fundraising page seeking donations toward a $2m fund she said was needed to request reviews of the results in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Stein said she was acting due to “compelling evidence of voting anomalies” and that data analysis had indicated “significant discrepancies in vote totals”. Her move came amid calls for recounts or audits of the election results by groups of academics and activists concerned that foreign hackers may have interfered with election systems. Donald Trump won unexpected and narrow victories against Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and may yet win Michigan, where a result has not yet been declared. The loose coalition of academics and activists, which is urging Hillary Clinton’s campaign to join its fight, is preparing to deliver a report detailing its concerns to congressional committee chairs and federal authorities, according to two people involved.

Ms. Stein’s motivation is unclear from her public statements. I have reviewed the scant information available regarding the potential fraud being alleged and the public statements from the University of Michigan group of professors that have made these allegations. The following statement from J. Alex Halderman, a professor in that group, sums up the weakness of their analysis:
“I believe the most likely explanation is that the polls [showing Clinton winning those three states] were systematically wrong, rather than that the election was hacked. But I don’t believe that either one of these seemingly unlikely explanations is overwhelmingly more likely than the other. “
President Elect Donald Trump currently has 306 Electoral College votes. Pennsylvania provided 20, Michigan provided 16 and Wisconsin provided 10 Electoral votes respectively. By itself, the recount effort would require that the results be overturned in favor of former Secretary Hillary Clinton in all three recount states to change the outcome of the election. If this were to occur, President Elect Trump would only have 260 of the minimum 270 Electoral votes needed to satisfy the requirements of the Electoral College for ascension to President of the United States. Under this unlikely circumstance, former Secretary Clinton would have 278 votes, enough to secure victory. The issue is that this recount initiative is not the only effort underway to undermine the results of the election.
It is beginning to appear that this recount initiative may be part two of a plan to attempt to overturn the results of the election in favor of former Secretary Clinton. The other initiative underway is a concerted effort to threaten and coerce members of the Electoral College to abandon their duty to cast their vote for the party and candidate they represent. This coercion effort, by itself, could never possibly result in the numbers of Electoral College members reneging on their obligations needed to overturn the results of the election. See the Oath Keepers Call To Action on this initiative.
Combined, these initiatives only require that each be partially successful in order to achieve the desired result. For example, should the recount initiative result in overturning the election results in Wisconsin and Michigan, both of which were remarkably tight races; then the coercion initiative would only need to cause twelve Electoral College members to switch their vote from Trump to Clinton to provide Clinton with the 270 votes needed to overturn the results of the election.
I think it is safe to say that if this is a coordinated plan, it is a long-shot with little probability for success. I am not convinced that there will not be a part 3 to this plan that is yet unseen. Certainly the recount being initiated by Ms. Stein was unexpected. The individuals responsible for this plan have somehow caused Ms. Stein to abandon her extremely harsh criticism of former Secretary Clinton. I will be reviewing Ms. Stein’s campaign finances to determine if there are any anomalies that would indicate a financial motivation to secure her involvement. I will update this article if new information becomes available.
Update 11/23/2016 – As of 9:30 EST, Ms. Stein has already raised $1.5M for this effort. This took less than 5 hours to achieve. Remarkable. By morning, she will certainly have a warchest to pursue these recount actions.
Update 11/23/2016 – MoveOn.org has issued a petition to the Federal Elections Commission demanding recounts in WI, MI, PA, AZ, NC and FL. The petition currently has 47K signatures.
Update 11/23/2016 – Based on election results information gathered as a result of Operation Sabot 2016, three states had notable issues:
- Nevada (Clark County)
- Colorado (Denver and Boulder Counties)
- Virginia – (Richmond, Fairfax and Henrico Counties).
Each of these states was won by former Secretary Clinton. In all three states there were precincts where over 95% of the vote went to Clinton with voter turnouts above 90%. Richmond, Denver and Clark County had precincts with more votes than registered voters. This is similar to what occurred in Philadelphia back in 2012. In Virginia, Governor McAuliffe issued 60,000 autopen pardons to allow felons to vote. The Governor sent each pardoned felon a personal letter asking them to vote for Clinton, with a voter registration form, ballot and a return postage paid envelope. In each of these cases, the President Elect appears to have been disadvantaged. If recounts and investigations become inevitable, expanding the list of states to also include states won by former Secretary Clinton would be appropriate.
Update 11/24/2016 – (Source Zerohedge.com) – In less than 1 day, Jill Stein raised over $3mm, which is more than the $2mm needed to force a recount in Wisconsin. While she attributed the accomplishment to “the power of grassroots organizing,” we would tend to be a little more skeptical and would love to see exactly where those donations came from. Then again, maybe we’re wrong and there really are just that many disaffected snowflakes out there willing to blow their money on an extreme long shot.
“Congratulations on meeting the recount costs for Wisconsin. Raising money to pay for the first round so quickly is a miraculous feat and a tribute to the power of grassroots organizing,” her campaign said.
“Now that we have nearly completed funding Wisconsin’s recount (which is due on Friday), we can begin to tackle the funding for Michigan’s recount (due Monday) and Pennsylvania’s recount (due Wednesday).”

Update 11/24/2016 – Ms. Stein has raised $4.1M as of 5PM EST. This is more than enough to conduct the recounts in MI, WI and PA. She has set a new target of $4.5M on her fund raising page. It is unclear if she will continue to raise money for other objectives now that the funds needed to complete the recounts in the states of interest are secured.
Update 11/25/2016 – (Source ZeroHedge.com) – Just yesterday we noted that Jill Stein was acting on behalf of Hillary Clinton to raise money for recounts in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. As we noted then, we continue to be astonished by the amount of money flowing into the fundraising campaign and would love to see which of Hillary’s mega donors have spent the most on the effort…somehow we suspect this isn’t just a “grassroots organizing” effort as Stein described it.
So, in less than 1 day, Jill Stein raised over $3mm, which is more than the $2mm needed to force a recount in Wisconsin.
But, today a new mystery has emerged in Stein’s fundraising efforts. Apparently, the more money she raises the more expensive the recount effort becomes. As of this morning, over $5mm has been rasied with a new target of $7mm. All that said, here is Jill Stein admitting to CNN that she has absolutely no evidence of election hacking….even though she asks that you please keep sending your money anyway.

Update 11/25/2016 – Local Wisconsin Green Party officials said they will file an affidavit with the Wisconsin Elections Commission by the 5 p.m. deadline on Friday, at which time they intend to provide further details about the recount itself and whether it will involve a forensic audit of voting machines. Wisconsin Green Party member George Martin said one concern that led party officials to request a recount stemmed from major differences between statewide exit polls and the actual election results in the Badger State.
“The exit polls indicated that [Trump] should have had 44.3 percent” of the vote,” Martin said, noting that Trump instead received about 48 percent.”
The statement above by the Mr. George Martin, WI Green Party Leader, is not true. The Exit Polls in the Badger State indicated that Trump should have recieved 48.5% of the vote and Clinton should have recieved 45% of the vote.
It appears that the Green Party has now evolved into outright lying in order to justify the vast sums of money they have raised.
