NavyJack – Malik Zulu Shabazz Claims that Donald Trump Has Met his Match at the Convention of the Oppressed
Malik Zulu Shabazz is a black nationalist with a long, well-documented history of racist accusations about the “inherent evil of white people”. Many of his remarks contain threats of violence. He is also skilled at orchestrating protests. After being expelled from the Nation of Islam, Shabazz became the leader of the New Black Panther Party. In late 2013 he stepped down from his leadership position in the New Black Panther Party to enable him to focus on his roles as National President of Black Lawyers for Justice, which he co-founded.
In a July 5, 2016 interview with CBS News in Cleveland, Shabazz stated that he “would be surprised if Donald Trump ever takes to the podium to speak during the RNC”. This provocative statement was followed up by protest co-organizer Roy Tatem stating that “the city could turn into a war zone during the RNC”. Shabazz continued by stating “Malik Zulu Shabazz is here to tell Donald Trump that he has met his match at the Convention of the Oppressed” and “We want to shut Mr. Trump down. We don’t want him to take the mic on July 21 at the Quicken Loans Arena”. See the full interview here. Learn more about the planned pre-convention protests here.
The New Black Panthers see themselves as the “shock troops” of the Black Lives Matter movement. Their literature states that “The SOLE PURPOSE of a Panther is to be a REVOLUTIONARY in the Black/Afrikan People’s liberation struggle, and to mobilize the masses towards self determination”. Their violent rhetoric is delivered at many Black Lives Matter protests, including this heart-warming speech at the Portland, OR Black Lives Matter protest last Sunday. Another good example occurred on August 12, 2015, when Black Lives Matter and the New Black Panther Party marched on the Waller County Jail in response to the suicide of Sandra Bland chanting “The revolution is on… Off the pigs,” and “Oink Oink… Bang Bang!”
President Obama and the Black Lives Matter leadership have failed to reject calls for violence by the New Black Panther Party. Black Lives Matter has allowed New Black Panther Party representatives to lead Black Lives Matter protests with calls for killing whites and police officers. This week, over 100,000 Americans called on President Obama to officially label the Black Lives Matter movement as a terrorist organization. Following the recent violence against police officers in Dallas and many other locations around the country, they make a compelling argument. Before continuing, please review the New Black Panther, Huey P. Newtown Gun Club protest at the recent SXSW Conference:
The attack on the Dallas police made it crystal clear that these marches, protests and chants are not just mere words. They are a rallying cry to action; action that resulted in the death of five Dallas law enforcement officers. The Dallas shooter, Micah Xavier Johnson, was in fact a member of the Huey P. Newton Gun Club, a self-described “Armed United Front” named after the co-founder of the original Black Panther Party.
Now that it is proven that the New Black Panther Party elements of the Black Lives Matter movement are both willing and able to act on their threats of violence, the threats made against Mr. Donald Trump and his supporters attending the Republican National Convention next week must be taken seriously.
