How Does Vaccinated Children’s Health Compare to Unvaccinated Children?

If parents are to make informed decisions regarding vaccination, they need to get more than a single side of the issue. The Big Pharma/Medical Establishment have only given one side of the issue, and do their damnedest to suppress all discussion of the other side. Why? Aren’t well-informed parents the best arbiters of what is good for their children? – Shorty Dawkins, Associate Editor

While there have been no official US government-sponsored studies comparing the health of vaccinated to unvaccinated children, several independently funded studies have been done in the US and overseas. The majority of these studies have been conducted abroad, but many involve American children.

What do these studies show? The research demonstrates conclusively that unvaccinated children enjoy far superior health when compared to those vaccinated. Unvaccinated children experience almost no incidence of autism, autoimmune disorders, asthma, allergies, diabetes and other common childhood diseases which have reached epidemic proportions in recent years.

The Research Studies
One of the most comprehensive studies is an ongoing comparative survey by German homeopathic physician Andreas Bachmair. Bachmair is conducting an independent study comparing the health of vaccinated to unvaccinated children with 17,461 participants.

This research has found a significant increase in the following diseases in those vaccinated: asthma, allergies, bronchitis, otitis media (ear infections), hay fever, herpes, neurodermatitis, hyperactivity, scoliosis, epilepsy, autoimmune disorders, thyroid disease, autism and diabetes. Furthermore, Bachmair discovered three other studies which substantiated his findings. To see the chart with the comparison in diseases, visit this link provided by the Vermont Coalition for Vaccine Choice.

For comprehensive survey results for this published study, see this link.

The majority of those who participated were Americans, with 25 percent of participants comprised of Germans. Ninety-nine percent of those who chose not to vaccinate their children reported to be happy with their decision. Because this study is ongoing, study numbers will vary depending on the report viewed. [1]

Bachmair’s reports further demonstrated that the unvaccinated children very rarely suffered from the following heath conditions: dyslexia, speech delays, bed wetting, celiac disease, gluten sensitivity, GERDs. [2]

In a Salzberger study, of 1,004 unvaccinated children, zero children had asthma, compared to 8-12 percent of the vaccinated population; 1.2 percent of unvaccinated children suffered with dermatitis while 10-20 percent of children vaccinated experienced dermatitis; three percent of unvaccinated children compared to 25 percent of vaccinated experienced allergies; and less than one percent of unvaccinated children were diagnosed with ADHD, compared to 5-10 percent of those vaccinated.

A study in Guinea-Bissau, West Africa, which studied the children of 15,000 mothers between 1990-1996, demonstrated that the death rate for children vaccinated against diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough was double for those who had been vaccinated.

  1. I’m always suspicious when the holistic folks push this theme. We are conditioned to get vaccinated but we have also been preserved from serious diseases as a result. If a person is bent on doing this I’d recommend the book, “What Vets Don’t Tell You About Vaccines” and deal with this issue on a pet level first. I think minimums are important, but volunteering for whatever they want to put in your body is ill advised. Parents must educate themselves, and Government needs to stay out of the mix.
I took a flu shot 20 years ago and unknown to me, so did one of my wife’s employees at the same time, at the same Clinic. A short while later we both came down with Shingles. The Docs say this can’t happen – but the reoccurring misery for the next fifteen years settled my science. I don’t volunteer for that stuff anymore and would rather have the malady to develop immunity than be a pin cushion for the Nanny State.

  2. Raw hokum. Measles kills one in a thousand, which sounds not too bad, until you realize it is the most effective infector ever, and over ninety percent of an unvaccinated population will get it at some point. Four million born per year in the US, so if we stopped vaccinating, the average death toll would average out to just under four thousand a year, mostly kids. That is just one disease. The anti vaccine crowd are nuts. Too bad OK has stopped focusing on it’s politics and just turned into a crazy infowars clone.

    1. I have to agree, more and more articles seems more and more paranoid bordering on insane…

There is no point going into the echo chamber and think that there is alot of people listening to you.

    2. Your simplistic metaphor fails on multiple counts. One, your belief that the mortality rate is a given constant across the entire population (if 1000 people get sick, and 1 person dies, that is 0.1% FOR THAT GROUP, however, 1000 people is WAY too small a sample pool to then directly apply to FOUR MILLION people and expect the data rates to hold the same. Thats bad science. A single simple aberration can explain a single death and void the application to a larger population group. Like a 20 year old with HIV that gets measles. That does not represent a typical measles case. Number Two, the assumption that we have no way to mitigate mortality and morbidity in a first world country like the United States. Three that we cannot treat for the complications or severe cases. All are incorrect assumptions. There are more implied in there.

CDC pinkbook on measles: Approx 0.1% of measles cases ends in death. Remember, these numbers are padded up by people with immunodeficiency disorders, HIV, respiratory compromised, etc. People who can’t fight off a normal infection or who are prone to worse infection than others (in other words, people who probably know they represent a higher risk for complications or death and can make a sound decision to get vaccinated). That said, the primary reason for death in measles cases is Pneumonia (60% of all deaths are attributable to this). The remainder falls into croup (relatively common) and encephalitis (extremely rare, and carries a 10% risk of death), and a myriad of lessers.

The single largest and most definitive predictor for measles complications and measles severity is Vitamin A deficiency. (Sources: CDC and WHO). And how do you prevent the majority of complications of measles? Reducing both morbidity an mortality by half? And prevent measles associated blindness? A simple high dose of Vitamin A for two total doses over two days. Standard worldwide protocol for average child dosing is 200,000IU/day by mouth for two doses.
Thats it. Thats all you really need to turn this “terror” as people are trying to make it out to be, into an innocuous childhood disease that is uncomfortable for a few days, and then grants you lifelong immunity, without complication. This is, of course, given an otherwise normal, otherwise healthy, individual.

Also note, in the United States, you know, a place with good healthcare options when you walk into a hospital, we’re pretty good at keeping people from dying from pneumonia. And croup. and we have other drugs, ribavirin to name one, that is an antiviral with strong activity against measles that is effective in treating severe cases and shunting disease progression, even in encephalitis cases. Secondary infections we can treat with antibiotics and prevent those from becoming a problem too. Heck, we can throw you on a ventilator if we need to. We have IV fluids for dehydration secondary to measles diarrhea, another potential complication. An otherwise normal and healthy person is really not going to die of measles here, and that is a big argument for why vaccination should be a choice. Besides the fact that forcing treatment goes against patient rights and autonomy in decision making and undermines the ethics to which we swear an oath and completely inverts the idea of informed consent for medical treatment, thus establishing a de-facto medical tyranny.

Measles in a first world country is not the bogeyman it is in a third world country. Most of the time when people quote measles numbers (NOT saying you did), they are quoting global numbers. Malnutrition is the number one reason for measles severity and complications. Preexisting conditions / immunocompromise are generally considered number two cause.

These are facts straight from the United States Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization, as well as standard practice protocols for hospitals and clinics the world over. Not infowars, or a “crazy” echochamber, or whatever else you want to tell yourself. This is real world medicine practiced in first world hospitals and third world hospitals alike, and verified by scientific studies that are peer reviewed by the medical community and put out there indexed and searchable by our National Institutes of Health database.

This stuff is not as black and white as people want it to be. Medical professionals who actually do the research know this is not a simple subject. There are NIH immunologists who have discussed openly amongst each other the full on knowledge that these vaccinations are responsible for many of the autoimmune conditions kids are suffering from nowadays, however fear open public disclosure because of the current backlash against vaccinations. And before you think I am an antivax nutter, here’s the facts: Autism, for the record, is actually being shown to be associated with maternal infection/immune system stimulation during fetal development, and the sequelae of long term microglial stimulation in the developing brain that leads to neurological disorders. This research is ongoing but is the most current (Nov/Dec 2016).

And while we are at it, the most recent publication of the International Journal of Vaccines and Vaccination ( published jan23, 2017, discusses at length the contamination of vaccines with dozens of unlisted contaminants, including nano sized inorganic material, here’s a quote: “. The investigations revealed that some particles are embedded in a biological substrate, probably proteins, endo-toxins and residues of bacteria. As soon as a particle comes in contact with proteic fluids, a nano-bio-interaction [6] occurs and a “protein corona” is formed [7-10]. The nano-bio-interaction generates a biggersized compound that is not biodegradable and can induce adverse
effects, since it is not recognized as self by the body. ”

Umn, hello? Who wants to sign up for that? A non biodegradable compound of biological substrate scattered with endotoxins and heavy metals? Show of hands? Does it change it if I mention they found lead in the vaccines too? What about if I remind you that the sizes were small enough that, to quote the research: “It is impossible not to add that particles the size often observed in vaccines can enter cell nuclei and interact with the DNA”? Want to know the scarier part? EVERY SINGLE VACCINE on the CDC schedule was tested, and every single vaccine was contaminated. With many things. None of which were listed anywhere as potential contaminants or ingredients. Do you have any idea what havok that plays with an immune system? People are NOT crazy for questioning vaccines. Some people are crazy for the REASONS they question them. But the fact of the matter is that these are NOT 100% safe. In fact, they are nowhere near it. Every single case should be a cost/benefit weigh out, with doctors input, and a parents fully informed decision.

Another case in the most recent research to come to light is the censored study released 11/21/16, which did a vaccinated and unvaccinated comparison, and found that vaccines increased incidence of pneumonia (a 5.9 fold increase!!), ear infections (3.8 fold increase), allergies (9 fold increase!!), eczema (also a 9 fold increase!), chronic illnesses (4 fold increase) and neurodevelopmental disorders (a whopping 7 fold increase, including learning disability, ADHD, ASD), when compared with nonvaccination population, which lead to higher rates of chickpox and whooping cough. There was no difference between the two groups with regard to Hepatitis, febrile events, measles, mumps, meningitis, influenza or rotavirus.

Like I said, this is not a simplistic matter and a cavalier approach is not warranted, and in effect it actually undermines the research people like me have done on this subject to become fully informed through reading the scientific research published through the peer reviewed medical journals including the journal toxicology, immunology, vaccines and vaccinology, british medical journal, journal of emergency medicine, etc. etc. and participating in medical forums, discussions with tropical medicine MDs who served in Africa, and India and saw this stuff first hand, etc.

Quoting science, research studies and the CDC is not “crazy infowars clones”, unless you invert reality into trying to say the CDC is now not trustworthy either. Neither are the most prestigious medical journals in the world, nor the world health organization. And if you want to try to claim that, then please tell me, who DO you trust? Who should we be trusting? Because I would love to see the sources that trump the pinnacle of modern medicine, and the positively most recent research to come out on vaccination that incorporates and builds upon the data that came before it (everything I cited has come out within the last two months) and therefore trumps sources before it.

  3. The argument over vaccinate or don’t vaccinate has been going on for awhile and no real resolution obtained. I am a physician with almost thirty years experience, most in the Army. I’ve been to countries with low vaccination rates and seen the consequences, especially among children, of no vaccinating. But, please, help yourself. Don’t vaccinate you kids and hope that we somehow maintain the roughly 80% immunity rate that prevents outbreaks.
