‘Operation Big Sky’ Protecting Miners Makes Paper’s Top Stories for 2015

Oath Keepers can also help protect their good name from collectivist smears.

The Oath Keepers’ presence at the White Hope Mine through “Operation Big Sky” has been named the number six story of the year by the Helena Independent Record.

“The Oath Keepers came to Lincoln at the request of White Hope Mine owners Phil Nappo and George Kornec,” the feature story notes. “The miners claimed harassment by federal officials and that the mining claim east of town predated a 1955 law granting surface rights to the Forest Service.”

Two things stand out for those with an eye for such things: The first is the blatant and tyrannical unfairness of supposedly-unaccountable BLM bureaucrats and DOJ attorneys, with their focus on usurping power and dictating to citizens (the ones they’re not outright destroying) what they can and cannot do. In the case of the White Hope Mine, the ‘technicality” appears to be Komec is accused of missing a filing deadline—even though required paperwork was notarized and filed on time. The Post Office didn’t postmark it until the next day, and for that, the full force and unlimited resources of the feds are being brought down on men who put years of their lives into working a claim that was now being “officially” stolen.

Compare that to the Preamble to the Constitution, for the purposes of this story focusing on one key mandate:

We the People of the United States, in Order to … secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Everyone involved in trying to steal that claim is a willing part of the rule-by-diktat apparatus, betraying the whole reason we have this government in the first place.

The second thing that stands out is a familiar smear leveled against Oath Keepers all the time by Opposite Day “progressives,” that is, by subversives and domestic enemies.

“The Montana Human Rights Network had a different opinion, saying that the Oath Keepers are part of a fringe, anti-government ‘patriot’ movement,” the report related.

What an Orwellian “War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength” name for creatures of the totalitarian lobby, siding with the government and against the people. It’s no wonder they try to portray a group that stands for defending the Constitution as “anti-government.”

Back in August, I noted “Oath Keepers Must Be Force Multipliers to Ensure Truth is Shared.” Right now, even though the mine protection operations recap story has been out for two days, readers in the area who only know about it through what they see in the Independent Record could benefit from an overview of who Oath Keepers are and what the organization is about.  And curiously, right now, there are “0 comments” under that report.

Why not be a force multiplier and help spread the truth about Oath Keepers to a readership that might not otherwise learn of it?  If enough of you do, it might even have the side benefit of showing the paper they were really reporting on the number one story of 2015.   1. Why is now I only hear about it only through your website? Don’t you have other means disseminating this information? I know the Fed’s have you listed as a fringe org. but you need to soften up up? Your mission statement is true, but to bring in more Patriots remember Teddy Roosevelt quote “speak softly and carry a big stick”. Make your membership appeal as it was meant to be equality before the law, Secure in life knowing that they will not be beaten nor shot to death, to be able to acquire property and knowingly being secure in that property with your papers without a judges warrant, the pursuit of happiness that all people are guaranteed these inalienable rights by their creator! Get back to basics and your membership should grow. Since the assassination of President Kennedy I have never truly trusted our government and Watergate was just icing on the cake is just how far someone wants to go to be POTUS! Mind you Kennedy had his faults but so did Bill Clinton… these as are my two cents people if two cents are worth anything these days, good luck and I’ll be definitely dropping by. Thanks medic927

    1. medic, I won’t disagree with you.. but… the reason you only see this type of reporting on this site is because all “regular” media is owned and controlled by 6 people/companies. All of it. Conservative, Liberal, Democratic leaning, Republican leaning… doesn’t matter. They’re all really the same. But they trick us by appearing different. The Rothschild Banking Cartel and the likes of George Soros (the owners of all our politicians) are all united for the same cause. That means it’s up to us, you, me, the people to pay attention, and watch what’s going on in the world, and here at home, ourselves. Sure, the Fed’s may have this org listed as fringe (I’ll take your word for it) but remember, these are the same Fed’s who decided that the Muslim Brotherhood is just fine… took them off the terror list with no explanation to the people. It would be dangerous to soften up here; there are plenty of soft organizations who will tell you whatever you want to hear, gain tons of support, and get our their propaganda. It’s up to each of us, individually, to get this information out. So share.

      Medic927, you should go back quite a bit farther and see how Theodore Roosevelt was able to fulfill his obsession to be president……while he just so happened to be off on a ‘well publicized’ hike to the top of a mountain.

      There was ONLY 1 reason Roosevelt accepted the V.P. position from McKinley. He even campaigned for McKinley on a platform of peace, prosperity, and conservatism which was opposite of HIS progressive beliefs. It worked out as planned in the end.

    1. I just went through their process myself and experienced the same lack of results. Thanks for trying. Just sent the following message to the paper via their Facebook page:

      “I’ve encouraged comments on one of your stories to address an unfair characterization of Oath Keepers by the Montana Human Rights Commission– for whatever reason, neither I nor others can submit them despite successfully registering on your site — please advise.”

  3. What does not make sense to me is, we need our numbers to grow increasingly organized on the path to reviving the Republic, but there are some, like SheepDog, who like to attack others for the comments they make. Their goal must be superiority which always leads to separation.

    We must understand that all comments shared are simply opinion regardless of what anyone says, opinions to which we are all entitled. Those who must insult others for sharing an opinion certainly are not of the type of unity of spirit necessary toward our endeavor as Constitutional State Citizens.

    Makes you kind of think that, likely unknown even to themselves, they are dark implants operating under the mind control brain washing by the enemies of the Constitutional Republic, in our midst, or conversations, only present to disrupt progress toward our stated goals.

I just found this web site from word from a friend, It makes me happy to see it, I want to comment on our issue of the BLM, NPS, NFS, and Fish and Game over reach, These organizations I have finally have had a butt full of their crap, They are shutting down our back roads in the hills, They stop and check people for no reasons other than to harass, Their power has went to their head, for instance, they are taking the best areas to prospect and making national monuments, Wilderness areas, and state parks, you cant even run a recreational metal detector in a national monument or state park, its a federal wrap, and their are good people going to jail for it and then losing their second amendment rights over something so stupid, and by the way, the Brady Bill needs to be done away with, every person in the country should be armed, in Arizona the Fish and Game wants you to sign a book before entering public lands, and the NFS and BLM think they have the right to shut down back roads with gates because its rainy season ETC, The LEFT and the tree huggers are getting their way with these agencies because most management in these agencies are people who are democrats, It is time we the people stand up and put a stop to this crap, Kind Regards RED
