Media channels SPLC to attack Oath Keepers in Ferguson

ScreenHunter_01 Aug. 12 10.35
“There has been a huge demonization push against Oath Keepers in Ferguson, who were voluntarily protecting infowars reporters on scene. Please take the time to listen to this interview with Sam Andrews of the MO, Oath Keepers who was spearheading the Oath Keepers operations in Ferguson both a year ago and now. Please share this out with everyone you know.” [Click to go to YouTube]
“The Southern Poverty Law Center describes the Oath Keepers as a ‘fiercely anti-government, militaristic group,’ Cassandra Vinograd “reported” for NBC News about members of the group assuming protective duties for businesses in Ferguson. It’s a meme the establishment media is desperate to plant in the collective consciousness, along with implications of racism being a prime motivator.

“If there were black and brown people in this country who showed up in the streets open carrying assault rifles in paramilitary garb would they still be received the same way?” Patricia Bynes, Democratic Committeewoman of Ferguson Township, asked. “It seems to be that especially when it comes to the Second Amendment there seems to be a different way that it is enforced.”

The media has been so busy trying to promulgate that lie, they apparently didn’t have time to do the most basic of searches to find Oath Keepers’ unequivocal position decrying violent racism in Ferguson, and reminding residents of their absolute right keep themselves safe. Because the group is calling on them to do just that.

“You have the power to police your own neighborhoods, and keep them safe for all,” Jeff Ford of Oath Keepers declared in an open letter the media has chosen to remain oblivious to – or to keep buried. “Black veterans have a proud and noble example to follow, in the Deacons for Defense and Justice, who were World War II and Korean War veterans who stood up to the violence of the Klan, except this time, you must defend against violence by anyone, whether outsiders or locals, of any race, against anyone, of any race.

“If you take care of your own neighborhoods, it removes the sense of emergency that is used to justify a heavy police presence,” Ford elaborated. And that can also have a lasting effect even after the protests are over. Be your own ‘police.’”

No wonder those jealous of power, such as St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar, described people providing for their own protection, and volunteers, as “both unnecessary and inflammatory.” He’s the same oath-breaking “official” who tried to illegally order them to stand down, until a letter from Oath Keepers’ attorney made him stand down instead.

Still, as Oath Keepers, you know all this and I know all this – but what does the general public “know” that hasn’t been planted by media Fourth Estate Fifth Columnists?

“Heavily armed ‘Oath Keepers’ inject disquieting element in Ferguson,” Scott Malone of Reuters injected into the narrative. “Four white men carrying military-style rifles and sidearms added a disquieting element to riot-torn Ferguson, Missouri…

Malone goes on to give the obligatory nod to SPLC smear tactics, and then quotes Talal Ahmad, a guy whose whole shtick seems to depend on blaming “white privilege” for all social ills.

“You’re going to bring some uncommissioned citizens, white citizens, into a black community like this? It’s disrespectful,” Ahmad opined. “Here, in a black neighborhood, we’re already living in a state of terror.”

That Oath Keepers has pointed to the way to maintain respect and not to live in terror, and then led by example, seems not to have registered. It does not seem to occur to him that protesting against the police and then demanding they be the only ones with guns are contradictory. Some people would evidently rather hold on to their prejudices than consider what they preach contributes to the problem.

That’s something the establishment media shares. The same insinuations about race, the same references to SPLC, the same repetition of the “inflammatory” comment by the political cop who can’t (won’t) do anything about real flames, were all showcased by various “news” outlets that dominate where most Americans learn about current events.

“Oath Keepers arrival at Ferguson protest ‘inflammatory,’ top cop says,” Fox News insisted. “Presence of militia-style group in Ferguson questioned,” CBS News added. “Two Images Show the Double Standard for Black and White Protesters in Ferguson,” News.Mic wailed. “Armed white men from Oath Keepers arrive in Ferguson, stoking tension,” AlJazeera shrieked.

Meanwhile, those who would bring about the destruction and death the presence of Oath Keepers can discourage are producing nowhere near the media hysteria as do what the elites really hate: Americans exercising the Second Amendment-recognized right to keep and bear arms in order to provide for the common defense, ensure domestic tranquility and secure the blessings of liberty.

We[’re] ready for war!” a mob prepping for mayhem chants.

And the media reserves its condemnation for Oath Keepers there to preserve the peace.

Again, you know all of this and I know all of this, but most people will never learn of it because the “mainstream media” so dominates the narrative.  But we can do more than complain about it—we can go through, over, under or around the gatekeepers by being force multipliers for the Oath Keepers message, which all of us should be doing as a matter of course, and simply put, as a matter of duty.

Take a moment, right now, as soon as you’re done reading this, and share the link to the open letter we talked about and to this powerful video of Sam Andrews from Missouri Oath Keepers explaining the Ferguson situation in a way the media will not. Send links to those within your sphere of influence you think will be receptive to them, and ask them to share as well. Also include in your communiqué a link to Shorty Dawkins’ latest offerings, “Oath Keepers in Ferguson: The Truth Behind the Lies,” and “MSM Tries To Demonize Oath Keepers (As Usual),” and “A Snowball Named Reuters” by Elias Alias. And don’t forget to include the link to this article as well.

While you’re at it, it wouldn’t hurt to copy local or national media, just to make sure they have no excuses left for their shoddy agenda reporting. And it would also be very helpful to leave comments under slanted accounts to help correct the record for people who might not otherwise even be aware they’re being manipulated by the press.

Effective command and control are impossible without reliable communications and intelligence. If each Oath Keeper – if you — took just five minutes each day sharing the latest information, the articles, the email alerts, the notices, from national and from your state leadership, it would provide an  informational  force powerful enough to bypass and counter establishment media ignorance and lies.

  1. My local newspaper, The Denver Post, ran an AP article today that described Oath Keepers as a “far right anti-government” group. Of course, similar language has been used to describe those elements of the Tea Party that had not been co-opted and other groups rejecting the larger collectivist agenda. It seems we all need to continue to emphasize that patriots and like minded groups (whatever titles they are given) are merely anti government CORRUPTION, and pro-US Constitution and Bill of Rights. If we can hammer this distinction at every opportunity, MSM attempts to vilify Oath Keepers and their supporters will most certainly BACKFIRE.

Several years ago when Bush II et al were working an amnesty proposal, I observed a similar smear campaign against those questioning the real agenda behind the globalists’ open border policies. SPLC and others working the smear campaign finally had to retreat as, indeed, their campaign to create labels was backfiring in a big way. The key is staying on message, repeating the corrected meme over and over again until it sticks. Neurolinguistics basics, keep it simple.

  2. Sam Anderson and his cohorts have been an excellent example of true Oath Keepers in their time in Ferguson. I salute them.

  3. I live across the Mississippi River in Illinois and spent 5 hours over in Ferguson last night (8/12/15), I guess I was the only Oath Keeper out on West Florissant Avenue and I was wearing a Oath Keeper t-shirt. At least a half dozen people (both black and white) approached me and asked questions, why aren’t you carrying a gun?, don’t you think that the other Oath Keepers were inciting trouble?, who are the Oath Keepers? ect. I answered them the best that I could. I let the first question slide as for what I have on me isn’t anyone’s business.
I told them Missouri’s laws allow for “open carry” and that Chief Belmer had unlawfully infringed on Sam and other Oath Keepers rights last fall while lawfully protecting businesses, with the owners permission, after the Grand Jury decision as volunteers, that their actions had saved at least one business from burning and that the business owners were grateful then, and happy to see them return earlier this week, that they are highly trained, more so than a average Police Officer that you see here tonight.
That Oath Keepers are a non – partisan group of both active and retired military, law enforcement, and first responders who have took, and are bound by a oath of service from when they first joined, as required (depending on what position) by article II clause 1, or article VI clause 3 of the United States Constitution, or for Commissioned Officers and Enlisted military personnel, section 3331, title 5 and 10, U.S.C. € 502, respectively, that a oath is legally binding, not something to be taken lightly, not some words that are just said because they are required of a position, but something with a meaning that they feel deeply about, something that binds them to it as honorable men, something that may be thought of in this day and age by the masses as archaic. Yet to the men who have sworn to this oath it is as scared as to the men who made this pledge; (the difference between a pledge and an oath is that a oath is legally binding) “For the support of this Declaration, with a firm Reliance on the Protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other, our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.
So pledged on July 4th,1776 the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence.
Would we even be here today, as free men, with rights and protections guaranteed to us by our United States Constitution if these men hadn’t honored their pledge during the Revolutionary War? If our father’s and grandfather’s hadn’t honored their oaths in Vietnam and WWII? Once taken these oaths do not end when you leave your service, but are binding till death.
These Oath Keepers are here upholding their oaths, and by doing so, they hope it reminds all of these Police officers you see, that they too have taken the oath, from the dispatcher to Chief Belmer, from Alderman French to Governor Nixon, from the DHS agent to President Obama, they have ALL sworn to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, which spells out, and limits what Governments can do, and guarantees rights to its citizens, like you. You have a right to be out here protesting under the 1st Amendment, as long as you remain within the law doing so, as do Sam and I to carry our firearms, as long as we remain in the law.
Yet here in the early 21st Century, many ignore the fact that they have taken the oath, and take actions which violate individuals, or groups of individuals, rights for any number of reasons, all of them wrong. Out of expediency, because it can’t be done legally but the official makes a arbitrary decision to because surely they are guilty of something, because they have made a mistake and have to make it look like they had a legal reason, ie planting evidence, lying on a application for a warrant, to steal from the accused, because they don’t like the color of their skin. A honorable person who holds a position of public trust does not cut corners, lie, or enrich their selves while performing their duties.
Several of them thanked me, I told them no thanks is necessary, I am here because it is the right thing to do, I just can’t stay at home and watch it on TV as gross violations of both the Constitution and Statutory law are taking place 15 miles from my front door and are being committed by tyrannical governmental entities. If not today, when? If Not Here, where? If not me, who?

  4. Dont worry about the SPLC or any of that ilk. The SPLC was originated by Morris Dees
who is a convicted pedophile. try a search on his adventures.
    Good work Oathkeepers.

  5. God bless the Oath Keepers! No matter what we call ourselves, if you believe in and live by the Constitution, then we find it our duty to do what we took an oath for! There’s underlying reasons why the powers that be do not want Patriots there. Do you really think that lamestream media will report on that underlying cause? Anyone whom fights against the good people doing their jobs to protect and defend, are anti-constitutional, and subsequently traitors to the cause! I simply have no respect for them!
    #oathkeepers #III% ers #allpatriots

    1. It has been the UN Piven & Cloward Divide and Conquer stuff which is a out of the Communist Manifesto hand book, SPLC is just this. Dees the founder was a convicted pedophile..

  6. It’s all fun and games until the shooting starts because you chose to escalate, playing games with the lives of others, in order to make a political statement. You aren’t there to lead by example or to defend anyone other than white business owners. If you’d said that you were there to protect peaceful protesters from heavy handed police I MIGHT be willing to believe that you’re just a bunch of wannabe glory hogs.

    1. Aren’t you the paranoid panderer. Well, nobody got shot, now did they? And nobody chose to escalate anything other than security, in a place where security was desperately needed. I don’t see anything “political” about our guys serving as body-guards for journalists. People like you will certainly try to make a simple security detail into a political statement, but here is the true statement our gentlemen in Ferguson made, which is not political at all, but Constitutional, which is above politics. The right to self-defense is universal, not political. The right to help one’s neighbor is universal, not political. The right to keep and bear arms in America is universal, not political. The Constitution does not say that only a chosen faction or political party shall be authorized to defend themselves or offer to help with security for their neighbors or keep and bear arms. The Constitution says that all Americans have those rights.

As for your misinformed comment that Oath Keepers only serves “white business owners”, all I can say is that you’re full of hooey. What can you make of this? —

During the first Ferguson riots we protected businesses owned by Hispanic, Black, and Oriental business owners, and that’s on the record. Natalie’s Cakes and More is a bakery and one of several businesses Oath Keepers protected. The pic is of the Black business owner, Natalie, embracing her White Oath Keeper protector.

As far as what you MIGHT want to believe, believe me budrow, nobody here gives a damn what you believe, for you’ve already demonstrated that your mentality is packed with propaganda memes that over-ride any chance you may have had at birth to own your mind. How white is Natalie, who’s business we protected in Ferguson? Go play somewhere else.

      Elias Alias, editor

    2. Sorry you see us that way. There are likely a few Oathkeepers who are exactly as you have written, but there are always several in any volunteer group who have ulterior motives. Oathkeepers are present when and where invited, to protect the Constitutional rights of all, not merely white business owners. I encourage you to read about us from the Oathkeepers website.

  7. I’ve been thinking about this for a long time. As a black military veteran who’s sick about seeing cops, regardless of color, violate citizen rights, regardless of color, I think Oath Keepers are the answer.

If I treated civilians abroad as a military member with the same disrespect we’ve been seeing from cops, I’d be in Leavenworth and SecDef would have to resign. I do believe it’s true that black armed men would be handled differently, but that’s not the fault of Oath Keepers…it’s the fault of the media and how they paint the pictures for the “people” to swallow. I think the people in communities facing injustice are philosophically in line with Oath Keepers and that this particular incident should be used as an opening dialogue to bridge the gap. I’ll be joining today.

1998 USAF Academy Graduate and former Naval Officer

  8. What an eloquent and mighty sword, you have, Elias! I wonder if Clive even realizes that he is bleeding.

  9. If that bunch of oddballs at the SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center) speak badly of you as an individual or the organization you belong to there is a good chance you have just received a wonderful compliment.

Sure, not all of the organizations besmirched by the SPLC are quality folks as the Oath Keepers definitely are but that agenda-driven SPLC mob even labels folks that do not approve of criminal illegal aliens swarming across the border who commit horrid felonies upon USA citizens as being a “hate group.” So much of what those bizarre buffoons at the SPLC do borders upon idiocy.

As for getting the word out to others as recommended in the article above there are many ways to do it. I use Pinterest when an article has a picture to place at

It is an easy-to-use site and the “pins” I place there promoting Oath Keepers are regularly viewed by those visiting my Pinterest page. You can return to an already-done pin and use the comment area to add more information to your pin. The number of words are limited per comment but multiple comments per pin allow you to share information.

There are many other sites where pro-Oath Keeper information can be disseminated. I urge all of us to do what we can to engage in the ongoing “propaganda war” that the tyrannical forces opposing We, the People have a great advantage in doing due to their immense wealth and ownership of much of the mass and local media. We have the power of freedom and the Founder’s words backing us.

All the best to all of you fine folks. Your efforts are appreciated and all of us are assisting a good cause.

  10. There seems to be a trend being set by this administration via the press and it appears to be an attempt to create civil unrest, just ahead of a total economic collapse and the upcoming currency conversion by the IMF, set for (on or about) October 20th.

‘Black Lives Matter’ organization has become increasingly militant with their actions to get these presidential candidates to (basically) declare all Whites illegal, if not “privileged, therefore….will we see ‘Whites Only’ restrooms again? Is this the “what goes around comes around” plan for Whites?

White cops are becoming paranoid when dealing with Blacks, when most crimes are created by Blacks.

Blame it on poverty, joblessness, or whatever comes to mind…..the bulk of our prisons are overloaded with Black offenders, because Blacks wreak havoc in their neighborhoods when law enforcement is not present. Why? For many Black activists, it’s a means of survival and control following a history of slavery that has evolved into modern day slavery when a Black prisoner is paid one dollar an hour to build furniture or fight wild fires. The animosity and hate is escalated when Blacks feel the residue of slavery by Whites. Yesterday it was the Plantation owner and today it is the prison Warden, but would things be different if the prisons were mostly White? I think not….

When a White person shows up in a dominant Black neighborhood, he may not come out alive. That’s a general known fact, because of drug gang and prostitution activities, not usually found in White neighborhoods.

However, a White woman or man can walk down the sidewalk in a completely Black neighborhood, or enjoy drinks and music in Black night club and actually make friends! Not in America, but only in the Bahamas, Jamaica, and other Caribbean countries. That’s proof enough the “Race Card” is the mainstay of American policy/politics.

Therefore….White Oath Keepers attempt to show a Black community that (WE) are NOT racist, but there for the Black business owners….the SPLC jacks-it-all-up and prompts the media to go on the attack against OathKeepers because they’re White?

What I’m trying to say here I guess….it’s NOT going to get any better and the ‘powers-at-be’ behind the scenes are promoting ‘Black Lives Matter’ to be (actually) very racist and militant….which can easily piss-off the millions of Whites that have compassion for what the Black man/woman faces everyday…which is themselves, facilitated by the benefits of drugs flowing into large cities from Mexico…..a very dangerous ingredient that can spark a Civil War, pitting law enforcement against everybody, Black, White, and Hispanic.

We have to follow the obscured agenda and what party, or faction will benefit from creating civil unrest in America. AND…I’d say the agenda is the beginning of Martial Law (planning) to disarm everyone! Martial Law cannot be initiated if there is nothing going-on, and mass shootings are not enough of an excuse, but instead….getting Blacks in an uproar can do it !

It would seem obvious that an economic collapse will further destroy the Black community and violence will increase proportionately. (Street drug dealing, drive by shootings, and rip-offs will increase). The flames are being fanned everyday and ‘Black Lives Matter’ is the new angry Black Panthers movement….but who is subsidizing them? Soros? Singer?

Blacks and Whites had better find common ground and see what is in store for all of us, before it’s too late. Cops need to be sorted-out and the small percentage of bad cops need to be fired. ALL new police recruits NEED to conduct initial training as a Correction Officer while serving for a period of no less than 6 months before being handed a gun to patrol a racially charged neighborhood.

FACT: Correction Officers carry no weapons…..and 99% of the time, the Correctional Officer has the respect of every Black, White and Hispanic prisoner, often having to de-escalate a situation with nothing more than his own actions and commonsense.

As far as White Oath Keepers carrying weapons into Black neighborhoods, to PROTECT Black people, the media will continue to be driven by the infamous hate organization, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC)….and if the population ever becomes tangled in a Civil War, the finger will then be pointed at the SPLC, and like the Nuremburg Trials, Mark Potok and his bunch will be arrested.

    1. Inmates do not unequivocally respect correctional officers. Just being in prison does not change a life-long criminal and disrespector of law enforcement into a person who respects COs. Your idea of requiring law enforcement wannabes to shadow a CO for 6 months IS an excellent idea.
