Join Oath Keepers for The 2015 Appalachian Mountain Summit!

This is an open invitation to every red blooded American patriot from across our great country to join Oath Keepers and our brothers and sisters from the Appalachian Mountain area for a 3 day, 5 State summit, in Gilbert, West Virginia. In this summit we will be sharing critical information, working on team building, community preparedness, and sharing of critical skills. This is an incredible opportunity to meet like minded individuals from your local area and across the country. Join Allen Lardier, Mike Holbrook (summit organizers,) Stewart Rhodes, Founder and President of Oath Keepers, Liberty Musician Jordan Page, and so many more great patriots just like you, from across the country. Jordan Page will also be putting on a concert on Saturday night! Please see the video at the bottom of this post to see the video for Jordan’s song “Arm Yourself”.

Please note that you DO NOT have to be an Oath Keepers Member to attend this event. You just have to be a patriot who believes in the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the equal rights of all men regardless of race, religion or party. We also welcome leadership and teams from other groups, as well as families and individuals.

All donation funds go directly to Allen, Mike and the West Virginia team  to solely fund this Summit. Any left over funds will be used will be then used to support the preparedness and training of the West Virginia CPT Team.

A message from Stewart:

 

This is a critical, emergency summit for veterans and patriots that will draw participants from over a five state area in the Appalachian Mountains. This will be an awesome three day WORKING conference on the weekend of August 28th – 30th. We will break into geographic teams to sit and work together all weekend, then return to their states as teams and get them ready and strong. As with the other state summits Oath Keepers has held in SC and OK, this event will include critical briefings on the security threats this nation faces and what we need to do about it.
Participants will first be seated and camp together by geographic location.This will facilitate members to introduce themselves to each other and lay out their critical skills and experience. This will allow them to form sub-teams, such as, security (the infantry and police vets), communications (HAM Radio Operators), medical (R.N.’s and EMT’s), engineering (including construction), operations and logistics, intelligence, etc. So, they end up in a big geographical team, with sub-teams of specialists (a Team of Teams!) There will be briefings on the threats we face, ranging from economic to unconventional and how the enemies of the Constitution are using those threats against the American people. This includes how they are attempting to divide and conquer along racial, demographic, economic and cultural lines.
Once we outline a clear picture of these threats, we will present our recommended solutions and action plans, based on our CPT (Community Preparedness Teams) program and lessons learned in team and community building over the past two years of operations at places like Bundy Ranch, Ferguson, MO, Sugarpine Mine in OR, and Operation Big Sky in Lincoln, MT. Those experiences helped us to further improve our plans to build semi-autonomous, resilient teams in each community. These teams will help the community to unite and provide for their own security, disaster relief, and self reliance during adversity. All of this helps to restore the true militia of the Founders vision. A militia made up of the people themselves, well organized, equipped, and trained, truly is necessary for the security of a free state.
A critical part of this summit will be showing the participants how to do an area study, providing them an example of an analysis of a town, county and state. They will be given templates and checklists prepared by Sam Culper, of The Forward Observer Magazine, combined with the input of our Special Forces veterans. They will need to go back to their own geographic location to assess the strengths and weaknesses of their communities, identifying critical needs, and then apply their newly acquired knowledge to answer questions such as: What are the major security threats? What is in place to counter them? What is missing? Is there a constitutional sheriff backed by a real posse? Is there a real militia? Is there a neighborhood watch? What is the condition of their power grid? How resilient is it? How can it be strengthened and protected? How will people’s basic needs be met if it goes down? How many mouths do they have to feed and how much food is on hand? Can their local farms feed the population in a grid down or long term emergency situation?

 

 

The bad guys are assessing all of our strengths and weaknesses (Jade Helm 15.) We must also make those same assessments and take an honest look at our own preparations, in order to better provide for our own security, food, shelter, power, clean water, and medical, etc.
Please join us, form a team, learn how to build more effective teams, and then go back home as a team. Bring this knowledge home and super-charge the strength of your own community.
This is what the bad guys DON’T want you to do, so do it!

Stewart Rhodes

Stewart is the founder and National President of Oath Keepers. He served as a U.S. Army paratrooper until disabled in a rough terrain parachuting accident during a night jump. He is a former firearms instructor, former member of Rep. Ron Paul’s DC staff, and served as a volunteer firefighter in Montana. Stewart previously wrote the monthly Enemy at the Gates column for S.W.A.T. Magazine. Stewart graduated from Yale Law School in 2004, where his paper “Solving the Puzzle of Enemy Combatant Status” won Yale’s Miller prize for best paper on the Bill of Rights. He assisted teaching U.S. military history at Yale, was a Yale Research Scholar, and is writing a book on the dangers of applying the laws of war to the American people.

  1. For some reason I can’t get permission to join your organization. I live in Louisiana. Do you people have problems with rednecks????????

    1. No problems with anyone. Just go to Oath Keepers.org and click on the join button. It should be self explanatory. We’d like to have you, and if you have any other problems with joining there, drop an email to us on the contact area down the right side of the page in your state and we’ll call you and get you joined up.

  2. Not all of us can get to the Appalachian Summit. It would be great to have DVDs of the highlights available for wider distribution of the important information that will be communicated… Just a thought.

      1. YAYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!! I too cannot make it and it hurts ! my parents were from West Virginia so this was something I wanted to attend badly. Depending upon the success here, would you consider making this event a national road tour? I could and would help with housing and meeting halls and other logistical support etc if so!

  3. I need to know where to go. I am just an American that wants to help I did join and did give donation some time ago. I want to know how to help my community. I live in Dahlonega, Ga. Those in office are not going by the law, they are doing anything they want. If I can not make it when will they be here? Thank you so much.

    I seriously doubt this comment will be published here so, I will continue attempting to get you, the rank and file members of the Oath Keepers to see this video.

    There will be representative personnel present at this function and you will be versed on this matter. I respectfully ask that you keep an open mind because our future depends on what transpires in this West Virginia matter.

    1. OK, I have confirmation that Phil Hudok and Gene Stalnaker who are 2 (two) of the three men from West Virginia who have put their whole state of West Virginia’s purported government in total default and dishonor via proper, lawful action have secured a vendor’s booth for this event. I am now attempting to acquire additional people to assist in manning this booth. Those visiting their booth will be provided with pertinent information pertaining to what has transpired there in West Virginia along with providing evidence that the majority of the subscribed oaths of office taken from day one were total fraud. I know, this already foments anguish right out of the gate however, I respectfully ask that you keep an open mind because the evidence that will be provided will rock your world. Once or if you absorb these disturbing facts, you will be presented with a lawful oath document and signature rescission document along with advice to renounce the unlawful oath that was taken.

  6. WE are reaching a critical point in our history when all men of all races, law enforcement, military or not…will meet at a time of one’s choosing, under the peace of God or by false distraction.

    WE see the future because we are awake, while knowing the results, is the encouraging motivation for all good men and women to come together under a well established membership of leaders.

  9. Soooo anybody from the Pittsburgh North area want to carpool to the meeting on the 28th. I can hold 4-5 more people with gear. I want need have to go but want need have to have a car full to afford. Leave from Harmerville say 7-8am thursday to get there after noon to help set up and stay till 7-8 pm sun to help clean up. PLEASE message me or if thursday is a problem with to many people leave super early friday like 2am. I can NOT not go so anyone else that has to be there let me know.

  12. I live in South West Virginia and have been to Gilbert on ocaision visiting relatives, where in Gilbert is the event? I guess I missed just where it will be held and also Gilbert ain’t that big so we should be able to run into it just by driving round!

  13. How “kid friendly ” is this event? I’d hate to miss this, but if this isn’t appropriate for my 9 y/o son, I’ll have to pass

    What I see as needed might be a list of the Community Preparedness Team’s Med., Sec., Eng., Prepared, and Comm…
    A basic how-to would be great…if possible.
    Paid my dues there and will be very active.
