If You Really Think It Matters Which Party Controls The Senate, Answer These Questions

Please don’t claim anything changes if one party or the other is in the majority. Anyone clinging to that fantasy is delusional.

If you really think it matters which political party controls the U.S. Senate, please answer these questions. Don’t worry, they’re not that difficult:

1. Will U.S. foreign policy in the Mideast change from being an incoherent pastiche of endless war and Imperial meddling? Please answer with a straight face. We all know the answer is that it doesn’t matter who controls the Senate, Presidency or House of Representatives, nothing will change.

2. Will basic civil liberties be returned to the citizenry? You know, like the cops are no longer allowed to steal your cash when they stop you for a broken tail light and claim the cash was going to be used for a drug deal.

Or some limits on domestic spying by Central State agencies. You know, basic civil liberties as defined by the Bill of Rights and the U.S. constitution.

Don’t make me laugh–you know darned well that it doesn’t matter who controls the Senate, Presidency or House of Representatives, nothing will change.

3. Will the predatory, parasitic policies of the Federal Reserve that virtually everyone from the Wall Street Journal to what little remains of the authentic Left understands has greatly increased income and wealth inequality be reined in? Please don’t claim either party has any will or interest in limiting the Fed’s rapacious financialization. There is absolutely no evidence to support such a claim–it is pure wishful thinking.

4. Will the steaming pile of profiteering, corruption, waste, fraud and ineptitude that is Sickcare in the U.S. be truly reformed so its costs drop by 50% to match what every other developed democracy spends per person on universal healthcare? It doesn’t matter if ObamaCare is repealed or not; that monstrosity was simply another layer of bureaucratic waste on an already hopelessly dysfunctional system.

If you answer “yes,” please run a body scan on yourself to detect the biochips that were implanted while you voted Demopublican.

5. Will the influence of Big Money be well and truly banned from politics? If you answer yes, please pick up your tin-foil hat at the door.

6. Will the incentives in the Status Quo be reset to punish rapacious financialization and gaming the system and reward productive investment and labor? Before you answer, check out who’s buttering the Senators’ bread. Hint: Wall Street does not qualify as productive unless we’re talking about the production of life-draining parasites. Virtually none of the vast armies of skimmers and scammers, from those pursuing bogus disability claims to lobbyist leeches, will suffer any consequence.

Moral hazard is the Status Quo’s Prime Directive.

7. Will anything be done to dismantle the Neofeudal Debt-Serfdom known as student loans? You are delusional if you think either party has any interest in limiting the predation of an academic Upper Caste that came to do good and stayed to do well.

8. Will any prudent assessment be made of unaffordable weapons systems like the F-35 Lightning–$1.5 trillion and counting for aircraft that will soon be matched by drones that cost a fraction of the F-35′s $200 million a piece price tag? No way–parts of those insanely costly jets are made in dozens of states, so the pork is well-distributed. Never mind the plane is lemon, built to fight the wars of the past. It’s jobs, Baby–that’s all that counts. Never mind the $1.5 trillion–we can always borrow another couple trillion–the Fed promised us.

Do you really think the Senate controlled by either party will ask why the F-35′s price tag dropped to $120 million from $200 million? That’s easy–the revised estimate left out the engine and avionics. They’ll be added back in after the Senate approves open-ended funding.

If none of these key dynamics will change, you got nothing. Please don’t claim anything changes if one party or the other is in the majority. Anyone clinging to that fantasy is delusional.

If you doubt this, please take the above quiz again.

  1. “Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell, fresh of a hard-fought re-election bid, said the GOP has a ‘duty’ to work with President Barack Obama on issues they agree on, and he’ll try to do just that.”
    Newsmax.com

I already have “hope”, but what issues is he talking about: obola, amnesty, open borders, another
Q.E., bigger trade deficits, bigger federal operating deficits, more government regulations, more
Executive Orders, an audit of the Federal Reserve, expanded federal surveillance and police powers,
new wars in the Middle East, ad infinitum. I just can’t wait.

–And I am sure that the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Johnny Boehner, will be “right” along side to help him do his “duty”.

  2. Do not blame the parties, as that is what they do (create factions, play to the biggest donors and only protect the party line, not the country or the people, etc).

We allowed them to not let a big part of the US Military vote – which is against our laws.

Once again it is OUR fault. We allow it. We do not know our US Constitution, nor our state Constitution well enough to recognize when they step over the line (fence) that was put there as boundaries.

We allowed them to assassinate a US President, change the news, and did NOTHING.

Kent state – We allowed them to…

9/11 – again we allowed them to etc…

    Oklahoma bombing…We allowed them to…

Ruby Ridge – We allowed them to…

Fast and Furious – We allowed them to, and still keep doing…

Benghazi – We allowed them to…. and still keep going…

The drug war? It is the people serving within our government that are running the drugs,m using OUR US military to guard the poppy fields, and our soldiers bodies were at times used to transport the drugs in – agreed, mostly under B. Clinton…

Our Schools – We allowed, still allow…

TSA – We allowed, still allow …

Foreign troops on US soil on US bases – We allowed, and still allow…

Warrantless searches, etc – We allowed, still allow…

We allowed them to imprison whistle blowers – You know the people who tell us of the CRIMES and Corruption being committed in OUR name by “our” representatives and upper echelon of the
Military. They did NOT commit a crime, they KEPT THEIR OATH – and their is nothing they might do, order they might take, that is higher – and we allowed them to be imprisoned…

We need to clean up OUR houses first, because we need to not allow this stuff, and MUCH, much more to go on.

    Stay Safe All

  3. Article spot on.
American political system FUBAR Farce Theater for Public Consumption.
Is NOT what founding fathers intended.

Situation Is closer to the REASON that founding fathers went to war with Red Coats/England.
Zero Representation. Grievances Ignored. Over Taxed. God Given Rights TRAMPLED upon.
There is also currently concern for politicians seemingly WANTING to start Nuclear war. Insane idiots who are TRAITORS at the helm of USA.

A bit disheartening that nothing will change. Best hope is that maybe America’s Intentional Destruction by politicians of the most radical arm, of the single party system, can be slowed down. There is always hope.
Maybe the in your face “voting out” the most radical NWO elements might make impression to new office holders?
Might make some of the well dressed thieves in suits slow their Misdeeds?
Probably wishful thinking. But there is Always Prayer and Hope.
    God save the Republic.
God save us from the Vicious LIEING PREDATOR Politicians.
    Pray, Prepare.

  4. I can justify – barely – voting on grounds of even sinking ships man the pumps, it buys time.

Also referendums are one of our few well political powers left to we the citizen. For instance you can check or say no to increases in taxes [just did] and vote on variety of measures. These are adult decisions our ancestors here would have understood. Politics never became this childish faith in the political system until the New Deal. The Deal being Administrative Government in exchange for government work programs and relief. FDR ended Democracy in America, not us.

It’s no solution, we’ll get no representation. It buys time for us to get our act together, still in progress. Hence Justified.

Our actual intended fate is that we disappear as completely as the Indians did.

For this is the Rhyme of History in The New World; The lands and resources are coveted but the Peoples are despised.

It’s simply our turn to be the Indians. Looking at it this way we shouldn’t be surprised History is simply repeating itself.

Our actual Strategic situation is far better, for we outnumber and outgun them. They cannot trust their Police or Military as this organization proves. We should however understand there are many more choices to effect our destruction than Force – which is a tool they fear to do personally and can’t trust their implements. I can say Debt is certainly an option, and it worked in Ireland.
For 40 layers of interlocking minimum payments was the Irish Rack Rent system, like them we’re at extremely High Equilibrium and the slightest disruption leads to cascading failures. Like them we’re not wanted and in the way.

We may not get an American Hitler. We already have many American Palmerston.

What we are still gathering of course isn’t weapons but Will.

Our current default choice of Strategic Passivity will cost us dearly if we remain in it too long.

For Molon Labe Dear Sirs requires a follow through and it has not happened.

    Best of Luck to all.

  5. Sir,

Respectfully it’s an internecine mistake to lump the Police in with the Predation system.

They’re not seizing the money, the bankrupt governments are. The Police cannot lightly defy orders.

There are deep implications for saying NO. Once said openly you must win it all, I mean Power.

Saying NO silently at the margins is something American Police do daily. An open NO means that either they or a friendly faction must prevail into POWER. They cannot FAIL at this or it’s DEATH.

    No I’m not a Cop.

And I’ve already taken and kept Sacred Oaths and mean to still.

Good luck and consider that this very page proves the Police remain true, and far more in silence than openly.

    Cheers.
