Herbert Z. Wootten

Herbert Wooten

Testimonial:  My name is Herbert Wootten, I served from June 9th, 2008 until February 9th, 2009 in the United State Army (active). I served with pride every single day, until my CO said that I was unfit to serve in the military. Even then I well up with pride thinking about that oath I took that first day. It kills me to think that there are people out there, mostly in our government, that wish to trample upon and treat the document that our nation was founded upon like it was just toilet paper for the fodder that comes from their asinine mouths. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this site from a random Google search for the oath of enlistment. It makes me proud to see that there are others that feel the same way I do about our oath. I just wanted to say thank you for making this site.

  1. I’m not a member, nor have I ever served. But I will defend the oath, even though I’ve never been officially sworn to it. I well up in pride just knowing there are young men like you who have served for the people of this great land. I also stumbled upon this site, and glad I did! It gave me a new sense of hope knowing there are so many like you. There are also many like me. So you aren’t alone. We are all brothers, we are Americans! We are all proud od our country and will defend it with our lives when and if the time comes. So with that said, I thank you soldier for your service to me and all the other Americans you served for. God bless you Mr. Wooten.
And as Spock would say on Star Trek. Live long and prosper.
