KrisAnne Hall Waxes Eloquent On Unalienable Rights

Oath Keepers salutes Tom McKirgan of Oregon Oath Keepers for fetching this one. We also salute Mert Melfa for hosting this video on YouTube.

KrisAnne Hall * Constitutional Attorney
KrisAnne Hall * Constitutional Attorney

Sheriff Mack’s Constitutional Peace Officers And Sheriffs Association

(CSPOA) held a Press Conference at the Press Club in Washington, D.C. and KrisAnne Hall was one of the speakers. Oath Keepers is pleased to share her presentation with you.

Quoting from Mert Melfa’s YouTube channel,

“THE NATIONAL PRESS CLUB–WASHINGTON, D.C.– KrisAnne Hall, constitutional attorney speaks at the CSPOA press conference and summarizes the CSPOA Resolution that was drafted by CSPOA on January 24, 2014 and presented to legislative offices this week.– September 17, 2014

My initial take on this presentation: KrisAnne Hall renders a beautifully-done portrait of the source of our individual sovereignty, and shows us that each American is the granting power which created the American central government and authorizes that government to act on our behalf.  She is one Constitutional attorney who doesn’t hold back. We will be posting more of her commentary/videos, that’s for sure.

Thank you for your service to this country, KrisAnne Hall.

Editor’s Addendum/Update:  Here is CSPOA’s “Resolution”, to which KrisAnne Hall alludes in her presentation above. You can get this resolution at CSPOA’s website, here: Text follows:

Resolution Of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association

Pursuant to the powers and duties bestowed upon us by our citizens, the undersigned do hereby resolve that any federal officer, agent, or employee, regardless of supposed congressional authorization, is required to obey and observe limitations consisting of the enumerated powers as detailed within Article 1 Section 8 of the U S Constitution and the Bill Of Rights.

The people of these United States are, and have a right to be, free and independent, and these rights are derived from the “Law of Nature and nature’s God.” As such, they must be free from infringements on the right to keep and bear arms, unreasonable searches and seizures, capricious detainments and every other natural right whether enumerated or not, pursuant to the 9th amendment.

We further reaffirm that “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.” (10th Amendment)

Furthermore, we maintain that no agency established by the U.S. Congress can develop its own policies or regulations which supersede the Bill of Rights or the Constitution, nor does the executive branch have the power to make law, overturn law or set aside law.

Therefore, in order to protect the American people, BE IT RESOLVED THAT,

The following abuses will not be allowed or tolerated:

1) Registration of personal firearms under any circumstances.

2) Confiscation of firearms without probable cause, due process, and constitutionally compliant warrants issued by a local or state jurisdiction.

3) Audits or searches of a citizen’s personal affairs or finances without probable cause, due process, and constitutionally compliant warrants issued by a local or state jurisdiction.

4) Inspections of person or property without probable cause and constitutionally compliant warrants as required by the 4th Amendment and issued by a local or state jurisdiction.

5) The detainment or search of citizens without probable cause and proper due process compliance, or the informed consent of the citizen.

6) Arrests with continued incarceration without charges and complete due process, including, but not limited to public and speedy jury trials, in a court of state or local jurisdiction.

7) Domestic utilization of our nation’s military or federal agencies operating under power granted under the laws of war against American citizens.

8) Arrest of citizens or seizure of persons or property without first notifying and obtaining the express consent of the local sheriff.

that the undersigned Sheriffs, Peace Officers, and other Public Servants, do hereby denounce any acts or agencies which promote the aforementioned practices. All actions by the federal government and its agents will conform strictly and implicitly with the principles expressed within the United States Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and the Bill of Rights.

There is no greater obligation or responsibility of any government officer than to protect the rights of the people. Thus, any conduct contrary to the United States Constitution, Declaration of Independence, or the Bill of Rights will be dealt with as criminal activity.

  1. I loved the part where she said do you know the first 5 bill of rights? If you don’t know them thenhow do you know if they they haven’t been taken away from you? The government, school system, MSM, and Hollywood have done everything they can to make sure you never take the time to even learn them let alone exercise them!Kris Anne Hall ROCKS!

  2. I have a question for this lady – does her withdrawal of consent mean she will protect at all costs her property including her labor and the fruits of her labor? This means of course that she will not pay the immoral taxes allowed (and constitutional) by the 16th amendment and article 1, section 8 of the document she holds so dear. In the end, many people declare that they will uphold the constitution without really reading it in its entirety. 95% of the words in the document are devoted to what government can, shall and must do while a mere 5% are devoted to the rights of the individual. I’d like to know how people can worship such a document. Article 1, section 8 alone gives unbridled power to government. My advice – get beyond the bill of rights and read the rest of the constitution. That should scare anyone who values liberty to death.

  3. @David-The problem with your statement is that The Congress is not following the Constitution as provided for in Article I Section 8. They have completely corrupted the intent of the language and as can be seen, they are not paying the debts or providing for the common defense and general welfare of the United States. They have become self serving arrogant tyrants because “We The People” have let them get away with it…so, the Bill of Rights is important as a reminder of an affirmation of what government cannot touch. Oh, if everyone read the Constitution and actually understood what it means we would not be having such debates. As they say, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

I have your six too. A true and fine upstanding American. She has my vote because there is absolutly Nobody in Washington today who understands reality better than she does.
    I salute you mam.
I have to go and wipe the tears from my eyes. My relative Ben Franklin is smiling upon you with a grin from ear to ear….THANK YOU…!!!!!

  5. This little lady needs to run for president. Just think…An actual REAL president…!!! Could we be so fortunate…???

  6. I agree with KrisAnn, we have to take a stand.

Those who serve within governmental agencies who create “laws” that they do not have the power to create take peoples children from them because they use an alternative medicine, because they homeschool their children, because they feed them natural food, because they lawfully have a gun or two – which is none of their business anyway since the US Constitution REQUIRES us to be armed lawfully, etc.

Alexander Hamilton, The Federalist Papers, No. 26: “Schemes to subvert the liberties of a great community require time to mature them for execution.”

Thomas Jefferson: “Experience hath shown, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.”

Do NOT fly, do not allow TSA to grope you and your families. That is a major visible attack on our rights, the integrity of our bodies. That is one way of supporting and defending the US Constitution
    as the Oath(s) require.

TSA started in airports and now – as many of us said would happen – they are at bus stations, train stations, on our roadways/highways, at games, even at some school events. Every time they go against the US Constitution – which is what they were created for – it is an attack on the USA and her people.

Then we have homes being taken from people, families, and then they get kicked out into the street because someone could not pay property taxes. Yet John Jay, The first Chief Justice of the United States and America’s 2nd President said, “No power on earth has a right to take our property from us without our consent.”

I believe he would know since he was there when our government was created, and was a part of it in different positions and branches (at different times).

John Locke, 2nd Treatise on Government: “Whenever the legislators endeavor to take away and destroy the property of the people, or to reduce them to slavery under arbitrary power, they put themselves into a state of war with the people, who are thereupon absolved from any further obedience and are left to the common refuge, which God hath provided for all men, against force and violence.”

History of Property Taxes in the United States
The modern tax has roots in feudal obligations owned to British and European kings or landlords. In the fourteenth and fifteenth century, British tax assessors used ownership or occupancy of property to estimate a taxpayer’s ability to pay. In time the tax came to be regarded as a tax on the property itself (in rem). In the United Kingdom the tax developed into a system of “rates” based on the annual (rental) value of property.

By the end of the Revolutionary War, it was obvious that the concept of equality so eloquently stated in the Declaration of Independence had far-reaching implications. Wealthy leaders and ordinary men pondered the meaning of equality and asked its implications for taxation. The leaders often saw little connection among independence, political equality, and the tax system, but many ordinary men saw an opportunity to demand changes.

Most of the taxes we pay today have been around for less than half of our country’s history. One of the oldest is the estate tax, which was enacted in 1797, but was then repealed and reinstituted over the years, often in response to the need to finance wars. The modern estate tax was implemented in 1916 and the gift tax came about in 1924. The federal income tax was enacted in 1913, and corporate income taxes were enacted slightly earlier, in 1909…
Back in 1773, taxes sparked Americans to destroy three shiploads of British tea. And in 1791, Alexander Hamilton’s proposed excise tax on alcohol was enough to prompt the Whiskey Rebellion in Pennsylvania.

Yet we broke away with England to create a different nation.

TREATIES: Many say that the “treaties” created by domestic enemies with the UN and foreign nations must be followed. Yet, OUR supreme law, the US Constitution says that all treaties MUST be in Pursuance of it to be lawful here in the USA.

Alexander Hamilton: “The only constitutional exception to the power of making treaties is, that it shall not change the Constitution… On natural principles, a treaty, which should manifestly betray or sacrifice primary interests of the state, would be null.”

Alexander Hamilton: “… a treaty cannot be made which alters the Constitution or which infringes any express exceptions to the power of the Constitution of the United States.”

Alexander Hamilton: “When a government betrays the people by amassing too much power and becoming tyrannical, the people have no choice but to exercise their original right of self-defense — to fight the government.”

I’ve expressed myself here many times on the 2nd Amendment, the US Constitution, that governmental professional law enforcement have ONE basis for their authority since they denied to the governments by the US Constitution which is the OATH they are required to take and keep and that their first and most important duties are the duties assigned to the Militia whose replacement they are:
    – Enforce the US Constitution and each state’s Constitution,
    – Enforce and keep the “Laws of the Union” (which is constitutional laws ONLY),
    – Protect the country against all enemies both domestic and foreign, and
    – “to suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions”.

That judges are ONLY allowed to keep the position they occupy if they use “Good Behaviour”. That the PEOPLE decide if judges use good behavior in the courtrooms, not the other two branches not the judicial branch itself.

That as a nation where our government is defined fully (federal/general) or partially (state having only a republican form of government) by the SUPREME LAW of this nation, that using laws are supporting and defending it while removing judges that do not use “Good Behaviour” (doing their duty as the US Constitution assigned and keeping their Oath) so that ONLY judges using ‘Good Behaviour” as required remain.

Teaching the US Constitution and what it means is important. Knowing at least the Bill of Rights and what those who serve within our governments are allowed to do – and most importantly – what they are forbidden to do is a necessity.

  7. KrisAnne is very elegant in her presentation, sadly, just a few years ago (45-50) this was common knowledge of the citizens. We were tested on the Declaration Constitution & Bill of Right’s in elementary school which was not apart of the Kc public school system until THEY put in a section 8 across from Center Senior! WE THE PEOPLE!!!!!!!
Yes, it’s very telling of those who cannot stand the Bill of Rights/amendments, BUT, they do Love the 5th, the SOB’s!
It’ll get ugly unless He steps in and His people get right w/Him, it starts w/me!
*when Judges chose ‘case law’ over Constitutional was the turning point, south, letting alone the 46 do’s of Karly marx!

    …Heb’s 13:6…

  8. You are absolutely right, Big Al! Congress has not followed Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution as it was written for them. They have violated it to the point of being criminal while we all stood by and watched. The men and women of Congress have become rogue and refuse to uphold the precepts given to them by our Founders. Out of control is a mild term to apply to Congress. It’s more like a cabal of thugs stealing the freedoms and wealth of America.

  9. Wow! Now here is a leader I love can follow. Excellent speech! KrisAnne nailed it. I have sent this to everyone on my email list. The liberals will laugh at me and scoff at the speech. The patriots will become motivated and act in whatever way they can. This then would be the best scenario. We would overcome the anarchist’s without them knowing what hit them. Sort of giving them back some of their own medicine. After all isn’t how they grabbed their power? This message needs to spread fast and it will pick up steam.

    The time is now.

  10. Thank you KrisAnne Hall for that inspiring speech. It should be spoken in every school in America but because it is not politically correct with the progressives who teach our children, it won’t be. The government has labeled us Patriots who believe in the rights of man under the Constitution all tyrants. This is proof of what those in the government have become. A group of lawless miscreants, destroying everything our Founders fought and died for.

There isn’t much time left before we lose it all and turn things around. The people will have to come out and put an end to the madness of Congress. If Congress can’t be persuaded to repent by voting out the criminals then there is only one alternative. I hope it doesn’t come to that.

  11. Actually, her speech was extremely well given. I applaud her from the bottom of my heart. One problem; the word is “inalienable” not “unalienable”.

[Editor’s Note: Uhm, J. Roth, I think you’ll find that the Founders used both versions — “unalienable” and “inalienable”. I asked Dr. Vieira about this a couple of years ago and he told me that it is proper to use either of the spellings. I trust his knowledge, and I’ve noticed that I tend to use one spelling at some times, and the other spelling at other times, depending on how the “flow” is going as I speak.
I’m glad you liked her speech. Thank you for reading anc leaving your comment here. KrisAnne Hall inspires a lot of people, including me.

  12. Glad to see that Oath Keepers has realized what a patriot KrisAnne Hall really is. I would love for Oath Keepers to give her more “air” time, she has a strong message that must be shared!!!!

  13. For those of your readers who want an in depth study of how our rights have been buried by fraud, deception, threat, duress, coercion, and intimidation, not to mention evil color of law conspiracy you might want them to see the writings of Judge Anna von Reitz from Big Lake Alaska. She might not have all the answers but I have never seen more truth in one place in my entire life.

    Paul Stramer

  14. When my father was killed by SWAT in 1982, he was wearing a shirt that said, “Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death.” Also he said all his debts were null and void because per Art. 1 ,Sec.10, of US Const. the only thing that’s legal tender is gold and silver coin, since he didn’t have any his debts were void.
Something’s happening here, 1000 people in the street, so here we go into the abyss or void.

  15. One of the major causes of Romes fall, entitlements. Too many people don’t want to be free, their food stamps are more valuable to them then freedom. This has been buying the votes of voters for decades and increaseing the bribe yearly. If we , those who are paying those bribes, don’t find our courage , act on truth and conviction, you will never see freedom again. Close the purse strings, hit the feds where it is going to hurt them the most, in the treasury. Like it or not, there is only one way back, civil disobedience.

  16. This woman is my choice for the New Republics first Chief Justice. She has more sand and vigor for Liberty in her little finger than the whole con-gress along with the administration combined. With people like this in the liberty movement we can’t go wrong and she makes an outstanding example for others to follow simply by listening to her words of common sense and Constitutional wisdom. A real jewel that has shined brightly for others to follow.

  17. I was one of the blessed one’s to be present when she spoke. OK’s must unite with all like minded organizations who were present at this gathering. No ONE organization can do it, we must ALL unite and then “We the People” will be unstoppable!!! If I can help inspire this let me know.
