Sunday Reading: ALIPAC Registers Success Across Nation

Arizona Oath Keeper Kait Hylton has sent in updates on the protest demonstrations against illegal immigration and the government’s role in promoting illegal entry into the USA. Those demonstrations were coordinated by William Gheen, founder of “Americans for Legal Immigration PAC” (ALIPAC) and James Neighbors, founder of “Overpasses For America”.

On short notice, and with the invitation from William Gheen of ALIPAC, Oath Keepers rallied protesters to attend the more than three hundred protest events. Kait Hylton is a veteran of more than ten years as a volunteer in the border wars, and she keeps up to date info on developments along the border from California to Texas. It was Kait who acted as liaison between ALIPAC and Oath Keepers.

Kait has extensive experience in desert patrols, observation activities, and night movements to assist the Border Patrol. She has worked on the borders in both California and Arizona. She is an ardent supporter of the Oath Keepers mission, and her primary personal focus is on the border problem. She is as concerned as the rest of us that our political representatives inside government continue to totally ignore the Oath they swore to the Constitution.

As she and I agree, when the government breaks its own law there is no law. And while ALIPAC and Overpasses For America are focused on giving the boot to all politicians who support amnesty and the Obama Administration’s complicity in swelling the numbers of illegal aliens crossing our southern border, Oath Keepers realizes that America’s troubles may now be beyond any political solution. Yet it is important that American patriots make their voices heard, if for no other reason than to help awaken our good neighbors. Therefore Oath Keepers is encouraging our membership to participate in upcoming ALIPAC and Overpasses For America protests. Wear your Oath Keepers gear proudly and with dignity. For the first time in the history of America, hundreds of protests took place against illegal immigration within the last 24 hours!

With a coalition of more than 50 groups and organizations of various sizes, protests against illegal immigration and the Obama inspired surge of illegals at America’s borders took place in more than 300 locations. The protests were highly visible and some were small with a handful of people on overpasses with others being larger with hundreds of people.

The hundreds of protests have achieved the goals of raising public awareness of the Obama created border surge of illegals. The goal of putting politicians on notice was also achieved and several protest locations had candidates running for Congress present.

These historic protests generated talk radio show attention, televised reports, and hundreds of local news reports, thus breaking through the media blockade against the effort maintained by CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, etc.

ALIPAC would like to thank all of the Americans who came out in the last two days, all of the different groups that really came together in coalition behind this effort, and all of the new media outlets that did their job right by telling people about these events beforehand! Speaking of the rallies, Kait Kylton noted that at the rally she attended there were seven or more police officers and two plain-clothes officers. She told me that only two La Raza goons showed up to taunt the protesters, and those two quickly made fools of themselves.

Kait said that the Stolen Quilt Project was on display there – focusing on Americans killed by illegal aliens. Further, Kait said, one woman was wearing a surgical mask as she carried a sign representing “Healthcare Workers Against Illegal Aliens”, and a guy with the “Latinos for Legal Immigration” was very vocal against illegal immigration. She said that two local news affiliates (ABC and FOX) attended. Also, Rusty Childers of Riders USA attended.

Unfortunately, Kait was the only Oath Keeper there at that protest in Oath Keepers gear. She figures it was a miscommunication, as some other Oath Keepers she knows were there but were not in Oath Keepers gear. Stewart Rhodes reminds us all that any event co-sponsored or solely sponsored by Oath Keepers is fine for wearing our Oath Keepers gear. More upcoming opportunities to wear our gear are noted below.

Kait said that she passed out a lot of Oath Keepers brochures, cards, and pocket Constitutions, including to police officers. In Kait’s words, “They said they couldn’t take anything while on duty even as a couple of them slipped them in their pockets.”

Oath Keepers will continue to work with ALIPAC, which has upcoming protests scheduled for three State primaries.   1. The participation of Oath Keepers in the recent ALIPAC demonstrations brings me to question whether I will be able to continue supporting Oath Keepers or my membership in this organization.

    I find it appalling that this organization of ‘patriotic Americans’ would stoop to marginalizing and discriminating against Latin-American immigrants on the canard of “illegal immigration”.

  2. We are all descendants of immigrants in America! The American Indian is the only exception I know of! The difference,the basis of our Constitutional Republic is that the Founders and Framers,the Constitution,Federal Law states that only “Legal” immigrants are welcome here as generation after generation,millions and millions of people joyously,proudly,gratefully,willingly went through the arduous process required of them to become a “citizen” UNTIL NOW!

    The Founders and Framers,most “Legal” immigrants were too familiar with “Tyranny”,tyrants,the purveyors of abuse,power,money,control and created a system to ensure that tyranny could NOT happen here!

    Generation after generation risked everything to come here for Freedom,Opportunity,a present and a future for themselves,their children,their families and for future generations. They worked indefatigably,they fought to protect,too often died to defend the sanctity,the ideals of a country where “anything was possible” Until Now!

    The Fail-Safe the Founders and Framers created was a system of “Checks and Balances,three branches of government charged with defending and enforcing the Constitution,the Law,the oath they all took and abandoned in the last 50-60 years!

    Sorry to see you leave buddy, but it appears you do not honor your oath to uphold the Constitution and defend it from aggressors foreign and domestic. So you will not be long missed. For it is the words of that Constitution we are defending from aggressors both foreign and domestic. The foreign aggressors are the illegals crossing our borders in defiance of our Constitution and it is the domestic aggressors who are encouraging them. This is a fight to defend our country from those who would weaken and destroy us by defying our laws and traditions. If we don’t stand up and fight those who would do us harm then we will loose all that is important and dear to us. This defense of our laws and Constitution is what it is all about. Obama has done everything he can think of, and still remain in office, to take us down. This is not a racist battle or even an ethnic one it is a battle for our lives and the future of this country.

  4. I am forever grateful for what you are doing! Yes, we are for legal immigration, not open borders, which I have recently read is the government’s goal. We need legal scholars and everyone who cares about America to get on board to help the cause. We also need to help these people in their countries, because our economy cannot take this influx. Our welfare, Medicaid, SS systems will balloon to explosion.
    Discrimination….NO, but caring for those people already here as citizens, YES. It feels like we are under attack from our own government, and thank you for your unselfish service!!

  5. I would bet that many Oath Keepers, like me, were supporters of Numbers USA long before our organization was organized. It has NEVER been about discrimination, Mr. Terry. It is about sheer numbers. Our country can never begin to support the millions of good people who would like to immigrate to our shores.

    Most of us come from ancestors who immigrated to America, happy to learn the language and to become a part of the culture. No one has to give up their native heritage to become Americans. But a healthy respect for your new land is required. How does it show respect when your very first act is criminal?

    Don’t throw that tired old “racist” card at us, Mr. Terry. It’s wearing thin. A nation without borders, language and culture is not a nation. And that is exactly what this planned criminal invasion is all about.

  6. US Law, “1907 Title 8, U.S.C. Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(ii) makes it an offense for any person who —
    knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the
    United States in violation of law, transports, or moves or attempts to transport or move such alien
    within the United States by means of transportation or otherwise, in furtherance of such violation
    of law.” Violation of this law is punishable by up to 5 years in prison for EACH illegal immigrant they transport. There are other parts of Subsection 1324 which the Feds are violating, but this is the most obvious. So how about Oathkeepers and other citizens arrest the bus drivers and agents who are trying to transport and resettle these illegal immigrants around the US?

  7. One thing I still say and agreed by many boycott Mexico on tourism a main source of revenue for them. Also Oath keepers along with the VFW and American Legion (the last two are calling for a boycott) and also boycott until that Marine is turned loose who is in prison in Mexico just for doing the right thing. I have sent letters to legislators, Fox News personnel on this, but no reply so a push needs to be started to get the sleeping American people awaken. We boycott nations on far less than this invasion of our country.

  8. Anyonoe who believes that the actions of the Obama Administration regarding immigration are about compassion is fooling themselves. The fact that Obama refused to go to the border and see the situation for himself should be proof enough of that. This is quite simply part of their agenda to change the country’s demographics to ensure a permanent Democratic majority in the electorate. Racist Democrats back in the 60’s, initially hesitant to back the Civil Rights Movement, realized that in supporting Civil Rights they could obtain a majority vote from the Black Community. Lyndon Johnson, a racist himself, was quoted as saying, “I’ll have the N–ers voting Democrat for the next 200 years. 50 years and a trillion dollars later, the Black Community is no better off than they were before the Civil Rights Movement- perhaps worse off, since before then about 80% of black children grew up in 2-parent households and now less than 40% do. The only thing that the Democrats succceded in doing was ensuring that now over 90% of blacks vote Democrat- which was their goal in the first place. They are now trying to do the same thing with illegal immigrants.

    The ” illegal ” in illegal immigrants is the important word here .In essence a criminal , breaking the law and destroying our national border security . Maybe withdrawing from the OathKeepers is the right thing for you , evidently , you have forgotten your oath .
    Playing the race card for this situation is not appropriate and leads me to believe you might be a gov/troll .

  11. So Peter, my brother, you can’t spell out God? Will you attend an Oath Keepers function with at t-shirt that reads O-K? If you omit the remainder how will anyone know who you represent and what you believe. I think the same applies by not spelling out God. I would have to approach you and ask how you stand.

    And Terry, why take the effort to write? If you are a true Oath Keeper and swore an oath to the Constitution then you know exactly why we were there and you were not! Simply cancel your membership and return the t-shirt you purchased which seems to me is all you wanted out of this organization in the first place. And Terry, while you’re at it, instead of hearing about it on TV or radio I suggest you spend 48 hours on the South Texas border and witness first hand how we “patriotic Americans” are discriminating against anyone! When an “illegal immigrant” detonates a nuclear bomb in OR, even a small one, I am willing to bet you will be complaining that we “patriotic Americans” didn’t do more to prevent it. I will ask … where were you??

  12. It is laughable to think that our demonstrations are going to make any change. My husband and I attended K.C., MO. About 15 people and no Oathkeepers. We are like children on the playground trying to play make believe rules. The second amendment is the elephant in the living room. We love to talk and argue about the right to have it but we lack the courage to do it. If we do not form a large and well regulated militia with leadership and connection from sea to sea, we are going down. And deservedly. We will stand before God shamefaced as a nation with the right to bear arms but not the courage to use what He has given us. The bible says that there will be a judgement of the nations. Don’t think that it will just be ourevil leaders that get judged. May He give us courage. Shalom

People who think that we should just allow free and open borders should just go live in those countries and see how much their borders are open and what you have to do to become a citizen, not to mention what kind of rights you have when you get there.. I suggest you go watch “America” and you’ll begin to understand how the wool is being pulled over your eyes. Mabye do a little study on the Cloward-Piven strategy and read up on Saul Alinsky too.

    Gentlemen, I’m afraid that you all are letting your prejudices shadow your understanding of our Constitution. There are absolutely NO mention of “illegal” imigrants in our Constitution, but do not let the fact that the term “illegal aliens” does not appear in the U.S. Constitution lead you
    to believe that its rights and freedoms do not apply to them. While many argue that “We the People of the United States,” refers only to native born or naturalized citizens,the Supreme Court has consistently disagreed.

    On March 26, 1790 Congress approved this nations first immigration law The “Naturalization Law of 1790 specified that “any alien, being a free white person” could APPLY for citizenship, so long as he had lived in the United States for at least two year and in the state were the application was filed, for at least one year. That law had absolutely nothing to say about those “aliens” who chose not to become citizens. They were simply “undocumented”, NOT ILLEGAL!

    The Naturalization Act of 1798 provided for registering “white immigrants” in order to establish a date of initial residence, for future citizenship applications. AGAIN, the law made no mention of non-white immigrants and no one was compelled to “register”. Those folks were simply un-documented,
    no one cared.

    Prior to 1875, anyone could simply show up and be admitted, provided they did not have a communicable disease or suffered from Chinese or Japanese ethnicity. It is estimated that more than half of all Americans with Irish, German or Dutch surnames are descended from ‘undocumented aliens” who arrived prior to 1875. Further over 70% of those with Italian or Jewish surnames are descended from immigrants who arrived in the period between 1880 and 1924; and average of 560,000 per year and 25 million over a 44year period.

    How is it that so many of today’s “native born” descendants of those undocumented immigrants, now loudly and strongly assert that THEIR ancestors “were merely seeking freedom and opportunity” and had every right to be here, but the most recent arrivals are criminals seeking to circumvent the law?

Dear fellow Ameericans: The way to handle illegals that cross our open boarders, thanks to our illegal President, is to when the Feds dump them on our state poarches, give them a sack with a sandwich and a bottle of water.     The whole premise is wrong in the first place. The Constitution does not apply to any individual, it applies to the federal government. That said, you have to then look at individual clauses to determine what is meant, using original intent, and the definitions of the language at that time. We have to understand that the founders, largely because of the problem with loyalists to Great Britain, discouraged divided loyalties, and wanted to actually guard against those that had divided allegiances. When debating the citizenship clause of the 14th Amendment, the writers of that clause, Senators Howard and Trumbull, wished to be as consistent with original intent as possible.
    Also, before I start breaking this down, we must also remember the danger of your detractors using court cases to determine the meaning of the Constitution. These folks have decided that original intent of the Constitution is not a good thing, but they are willing to throw in with the opinion of a single individual because he or she happens to be a judge. Allowing single individuals to dictate the meaning of the Constitution, even if it contradicts the definitions laid out by the founders, or the judgement of We The People, for some reason to these people is not tyrannical.
    The word “jurisdiction” in the citizenship clause, according to the Congressional Globe, meant “full allegiance to the United States.” How can someone be considered having full allegiance to our country if they were willing to break our laws in order to get into this country in the first place? Having no respect for American laws is hardly evidence that somebody has full allegiance to our country, its laws, and its customs. The Constitution was meant to protect citizens, who have full allegiance to this country, from the excesses of an overpowering central government.

    Also, we must consider that the Constitution applies to some non-citizens, for there are those that fall under the jurisdiction as I have defined it, but are here legally on a resident alien card, but not citizens, yet. Because they are under the “legal jurisdiction”, the protections would extend to them, as well.
    If constitutional protections apply to non-citizens, except those that are legal residents, going to war would be a moot point, because for every atrocity caused by the enemy, we would have to provide due process, including discovery, and the presentation of evidence. Anytime we wage war, the anti-war crowd can then argue that the enemy country being invaded is having their rights based on the Bill of Rights infringed upon. Now, piggy-backing on the arguments of your opposition, would those same factions be treated the same, or differently, if captured in the United States? Should we afford legal protections of the law to an enemy combatant who mercilessly killed Americans for his wartime cause, because he killed Americans within our borders, rather than in Iraq?
    As for illegal aliens, and their “right” to constitutional protections, as non-citizens that have intruded upon our nation by breaking immigration law, should they be afforded the same protections as law-abiding citizens? The key comes down to the desire to protect us from those who have divided loyalties. In fact, in the case of illegal aliens, they are really nothing different than the member of an enemy faction in the United States, for like a terrorist group, they have invaded our nation. Should invaders receive those constitutional protections?
    It may be prudent to return to definitions. The definition of invasion according to the American Heritage College Dictionary is: 1. To enter by force in order to conquer or pillage, 2. To encroach or intrude on; violate, 3. To overrun as if by invading; infest, 4. To enter and permeate, especially harmfully. Entering the United States illegally, which means the potential immigrants broke American immigration laws, the aliens have intruded, encroached, and indeed forced their way into the country.
    Article IV, Section 4 states that the United States government will protect the States against invasion.
    Surely, members of an invading force should not be afforded these constitutional protections.
    As for a further argument regarding the applicability of the Constitution to citizens, and not non-citizens, you can also derive a definition from the Preamble, itself. The Preamble, though not holding any legal authority, as the Constitution’s introduction it sets a few parameters and definitions. The first three words are “We The People,” but We The People of what? “Of The United States.” This would indicate that if We The People are “of the United States,” it is citizens being referred to. Later, whenever the people is mentioned, which is throughout the Constitution, the people is defined by that first sentence, which indicates that the people are “of the United States,” or “citizens,” or at worst, citizens and legal residents. The Fourth Amendment begins “The right of the people. . . ” Who are “the people?” We the People of the United States.
    . . . and so on. This is, I think, a good argument that the Constitution was written to apply to the federal government, and to protect “citizens” from that central government.
    Does one ever wonder why the Indians were not offered constitutional protections at the founding of the nation? They aren’t citizens. They are people we made treaties with, and are not taxed (as stated in Article I, Section 2). The same can be said for illegal aliens. They have a loyalty to a different nation, of which we make treaties with, and except for sales tax (of which everyone pays upon purchase) they are not taxed.
    The 14th Amendment, in the privileges and immunities clause even goes so far as to specifically state that it applies to “citizens of the United States.” This means that the privileges and immunities afforded by the Constitution as written does not apply to non-citizens. Once again, a reasonable argument can be made that legal residents that are not citizens may be included in that.
    In the end, however, even that is a moot point, because when it comes to our rights, they are fundamental. But if I abuse that right to the detriment of another’s rights, then government must get involved to restrain me from bringing harm to those around me for the protection of the rights of others. So, one may ask if being in the country illegally interferes with the rights, or protections, of others living in this nation legally? Absolutely. My life, liberty and pursuit of happiness is interfered with when someone who broke the law, and is not even supposed to be here in the first place, is using up services, and funding, intended to support and protect my life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.
    As for equal protection under the law, that creates a fine line that is being crossed continuously. I do not believe that is an adequate argument for the incorporation of the Bill of Rights to the States, an affording “constitutional rights” to illegal aliens. If they want to get technical, believe it or not, James Madison actually suggested when he wrote the first draft of the Bill of Rights that they be applied to the States, but after considerable debate, both houses passed a version that did not apply to the States. In other words, even the Bill of Rights applies to the federal government to protect us from its tyranny.
    All persons within the jurisdiction of the United States shall have the same right in every State and Territory to make and enforce contracts, to sue, be parties, give evidence, and to the full and equal benefit of all laws and proceedings for the security of persons and property as is enjoyed by citizens, and shall be subject to like punishment, pains, penalties, taxes, licenses, and exactions of every kind. But this brings us back to “jurisdiction.” Is jurisdiction granted by simply being in this country, regardless of citizenship? No.

    “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive ANY PERSON of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to ANY PERSON within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

    Simply stated ALL PERSONS, irrespective of their status, within U.S. jurisdiction have an equal right to the equal protection of the law.

    What REALLY puzzles me is WHY so many “patriotic Americans are actively misdirecting our attention from those who actually wish to enslave us, who live and work in Washington, DC.

    I now know why you have a hard time understanding the constitution, and it’s due to the fact that you cannot respect the rights of your fellow citizens, so how could you ever have us believe that you understand or even respect the constitution?!   22. One thing Mr Terry forget to mention is that we are a nation of laws, Laws some of those immigrants he talks about help make. Laws that are suppose to keep our borders secure from riff-raff that now manages to go through our nation killing,raping stealing, dealing drugs etc. at their pleasure.

  23. The only thing I have to say about the traitors from within that want open borders and all the supposed goodies that come with it is, with open borders we have no nation period! If you cannot delineate and protect your borders then there is no U.S.of A. The criminals inside the government have perpetrated this whole fiasco and attached the “humanitarian” tag to it in order to garner the sympathy of the people(read sheeple). I talk this way because I was born outside the US and my parents brought me here when I was 2yrs. of age and requested political asylum with Dept. of Immigrations, therefore going through the process of documentation…LEGALLY. I became naturalized when I enlisted and I’ve never looked back to where I came from. I am an American and I will defend my homeland from all enemies, foreign and domestic.

  25. Hear Hear. I understand that for every two Aliens you take into your home you can get up to $7,000 a month. Now Obama knows best his preacher Mr. Wright has 23 children at all times and he gets some where between $1,200,000 per year now that is not bad. I guess I will have to work a few years longer for my wife is native American and she has gotten nothing in 58 years. Funny how this works with a Muslim in the White house.

  26. This is the Obama Administration using our compassion for children to further the North American Union. The North American Union is the combination of Mexico, Canada& USA to become one. It is similar to the European Union as a stepping stone to a One World Government/New World Order/United Nations.
