Stunning: DHS Solicited Bids for Vendor to Handle 65,000 Unaccompanied Minors — IN JANUARY!

Can you

This article comes from the

by Thomas Lifson

The Obama administration’s claim to have been surprised by the wave of children flooding over out borders may turn out to be another political lie of the year. Sundance of Conservative Treehouse noticed a very peculiar advertisement:

On January 29th of this year, the federal government posted an advertisement seeking bids for a vendor contract to handle “Unaccompanied Alien Children“.

Not just any contract mind you, but a very specific contract – for a very specific number of unaccompanied minors: 65,000.

•  Why would DHS and ICE be claiming “surprise” by the current influx of unaccompanied minors on the border in June, when they were taking bids for an exact contract to handle the exact situation in January?

• Secondly, how could they possibly  anticipate 65,000 unaccompanied minors would be showing up at the border, when the most ever encountered in a previous year was 5,000 total ?

The bid specifics are even more suspicious:

[…] The Contractor shall provide unarmed escort staff, including management, supervision, manpower, training, certifications, licenses, drug testing, equipment, and supplies necessary to provide on-demand escort services for non-criminal/non-delinquent unaccompanied alien children ages infant to 17 years of age, seven (7) days a week, 365 days a year. Transport will be required for either category of UAC or individual juveniles, to include both male and female juveniles. There will be approximately 65,000 UAC in total: 25% local ground transport, 25% via ICE charter and 50% via commercial air.

[…] In addition, the Contractor shall have personnel who are able to communicate with juveniles in their own designated language(s).

This stinks to high heaven. It is time to subpoena the people who placed the ad to give testimony in Congress. We may have a Cloward-Piven strategy on illegal immigration underway.

  1. So when do the citizens of their state get to the border and place those law/oath breaking Leo’s under arrest for willfully helping illegals/criminals break the law? Who put out the contract? Who gave the directive to put out the contract? We have the NSA collecting every bit of info on the citizenry, but you’ll never be able to trace back to the source of this Tryranny! The computers will crash and hard drives disappear before the public will get the info. Lawlessness begets lawlessness and will eventually result in tyranny despotism and violence.

  2. @ Mark

That is up to us. We need more state militia’s trained to carry out their constitutionally assigned duties.

It is NOT the federal governments “job” to work our borders, that is up to each STATE according to the US Constitution. There is a reason the Preamble to the US Constitution says “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, ESTABLISH JUSTICE, INSURE DOMESTIC TRANQUILITY, PROVIDE FOR THE COMMON DEFENSE, promote the general Welfare, and SECURE THE BLESSINGS OF LIBERTY TO OURSELVES AND OUR POSTERITY, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Then goes on to say in Article I, Section 8: EXACTLY what duties the legislative branch is charged with carrying out (and in a few other places), one of which is: Clause 4 – “TO ESTABLISH A UNIFORM RULE OF NATURALIZATION, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;”

That does NOT mean that the federal legislative branch decides who gets to enter and STAY within our nation. That duty stayed with the STATES: “Section 9: “The Migration or Importation of such Persons as any of the States now existing shall think proper to admit, shall not be prohibited by the Congress…”

Pretty clear that it is the people of each state that protects their borders and the federal government decides what it takes LEGAL immigrants to become a US citizen.

It does NOT say the federal government does that. Nor does it say that any one of the three branches, separately or together do that. It SPECIFICALLY says that “WE THE PEOPLE” PROVIDE THOSE THINGS.

    Add it to:

US Constitution, Article I, Section. 8, Clause 11: “To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water”.

The congress has the duty to grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal when they are needed to enforce the US Constitution, the laws, or defend the people and the nation. This is using private citizens in their own privately owned crafts to defend the USA and her people, this is using the Militia.

Plus Clause 15: “To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel invasions.

This clause is very straightforward also. The militia of each state is taxed with the defense of the USA and her people, not just with the defense of their state; and they are to be armed with weapons that can repel any invasions bearing modern weapons of war. Congress is required to provide those military grade weapons for the militias.

Then also this: Clause 16: “To provide for organizing, ARMING, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress”.

Who is the Militia? According to these people, what they wrote about it, and they should know:

Richard Henry Lee: “A militia, when properly formed, are in fact the people themselves …”

George Mason, Co-author of the Second Amendment: “I ask, Sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people except for a few public officials. To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them.”

Patrick Henry: “If you have given up your militia, and Congress shall refuse to arm them, you have lost every thing. Your existence will be precarious, because you depend on others, whose interests are not affected by your infelicity.”

Tench Coxe: “Who are the militia? are they not ourselves. Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man against his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birth-right of an American…The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people.”

Tench Coxe, ‘Remarks on the First Part of the Amendments to the Federal Constitution’, on the Second Amendment where he asserts that it’s the people with arms, who serve as the ultimate check on government: “As civil rulers, not having their duty to the people duly before them, may attempt to tyrannize, and as the military forces which must be occasionally raised to defend our country, might pervert their power to the injury of their fellow-citizens, the people are confirmed by the next article in their right to keep and bear their private arms”.

Hamilton said there exists a right of self-defense against a tyrannical government, and it includes the people with their own arms:
“If the representatives of the people betray their constituents, there is then no recourse left but in the exertion of that original right of self-defense which is paramount to all positive forms of government… if the persons intrusted with supreme power become usurpers… The citizens must rush tumultuously to arms, without concert, without system, without resource; except in their courage and despair…
The people, without exaggeration, may be said to be entirely the masters of their own fate… If their rights are invaded… How wise will it be in them by cherishing the union to preserve to themselves an advantage which can never be too highly prized! (being armed)“

George Mason: “When the resolution of enslaving America was formed in Great Britain, the British Parliament was advised by an artful man, who was governor of Pennsylvania, to disarm the people; that it was the best and most effectual way to enslave them; but that they should not do it openly, but weaken them, and let them sink gradually, by totally disusing and neglecting the militia.” and
“That the people have a Right to mass and to bear arms; that a well regulated militia composed of the Body of the people, trained to arms, is the proper natural and safe defense of a free State.”

There is also a reason that James Madison said that: “… large and permanent military establishments … are forbidden by the principles of free government, and against the necessity of which the militia were meant to be a constitutional bulwark.”

and John Adams said: “There is danger from all men. The only maxim of a free government ought to be to trust no man living with power to endanger the public liberty.”

Plus Joel Barlow, Revolutionary War veteran, wrote “Advice to the Privileged Orders, in the Several States of Europe”, clergyman, theologian, popular poet, successful diplomat, and American whose political writings were debated on the floor of Parliament said of the US Constitution: “… not only permitting every man to arm, but obliging him to arm.”

Patrick Henry: “The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government.”

Even Daniel Webster had something to say about what those who SERVE within our governments are allowed to do:
“Where is it written in the Constitution, in what article or section is it contained, that you may take children from their parents and parents from their children, and compel them to fight the battles of any war in which the folly and wickedness of the government may engage itself? Under what concealment has this power lain hidden, which now for the first time comes forth, with a tremendous and baleful aspect, to trample down and destroy the dearest right of personal liberty? Who will show me any Constitutional injunction which makes it the duty of the American people to surrender everything valuable in life, and even life, itself, whenever the purposes of an ambitious and mischievous government may require it? … A free government with an uncontrolled power of military conscription is the most ridiculous and abominable contradiction and nonsense that ever entered into the heads of men”.

Notice that all those comments are NOT addressing the federal or state governments but the people who must know our way of government and what the US Constitution REQUIRES of us, “We the people” to do in order to stay free. One very big one is to train as the Militia of our state and then to carry out the duties assigned to us as the Militia of the several states:

The Militia has as its constitutionally assigned duties to:

Enforce the US Constitution and each state’s Constitution,
Enforce and keep the “Laws of the Union” (which is constitutional laws ONLY),
Protect the country against all enemies both domestic and foreign, and
“to suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions”.

The US Constitution guarantees to each state its own “Republican form of government”. It is every state’s Militia that is the ONLY Constitutionally assigned force to “counter Invasions” and “Domestic Violence” within our nation.

It is NOT the duty of those who serve within any branch of the federal government to do those duties, it is OURS, and OURS ALONE!

  3. (My Opinion) I feel the issue here is “When” can the “Citizens, Holders of the Constitutions” act to uphold their responsibility without both the feds and the local state governments acting to stop them??? I see NO indication that Texas or any other State would Tolerate the actions of the People to stop the total destruction of what was once WAS a great country.

When is enough, enough? Are we real or are we talk? Guess after its gone this far we are just TALK!.

  4. @ Ron,

Are you part of YOUR state’s Militia? Have you been training? Educating the people around you in how to survive a disaster and what our LEGITIMATE government requires of us (and that we are NOT a “democracy” but a Constitutional Republic)?

Basically, if you and your neighborhood, town/city, county, and most importantly state is not ready to enforce our US Constitution and your state’s Constitution then yes, it is still at the talking stage. Hardest part of all is to get the idea that we owe anyone SERVING within an office of our governments any loyalty is a lie out to all people, and getting them to understand it. We owe loyalty to a document (documents including each of our states), NOT to any person who was put into office to carry out those LISTED (enumerated) duties.

“God provided that in this land of liberty, our political allegiance shall run not to individuals, that is, to government officials, no matter how great or how small they may be. Under His plan our allegiance and the only allegiance we owe as citizens or denizens of the United States, runs to our inspired Constitution which God himself set up. So runs the oath of office of those who participate in government. A certain loyalty we do owe to the office which a man holds, but even here we owe just by reason of our citizenship, no loyalty to the man himself. In other countries it is to the individual that allegiance runs. This principle of allegiance to the Constitution is basic to our freedom. It is one of the great principles that distinguishes this “land of liberty” from other countries”. J. Reuben Clark

“Abuse of words has been the great instrument of sophistry and chicanery, of party, faction, and division of society.” John Adams

“Each State, in ratifying the Constitution, is considered as a sovereign body, independent of all others, and only to be bound by its own voluntary act. In this relation, then, the new Constitution will, if established, be a FEDERAL, and not a NATIONAL constitution.” Madison, Federalist 39

“It is the nature of a right that it is – and must be – absolute. If there are codicils, appendices, restrictions, however, and buts, then it is a privilege, granted and controlled by others.” Unknown

And the key word here being FEDERAL vs. NATIONAL
