In short, I was a NYC police officer at the time of the attack on the USA during 9/11/2001. I was assigned to the Bellvue morgue that day and many days after before retiring after 20 years of service to not only NYC but my state and country. sadly, this sate and country that i love have forgotten the lessons of that horrible day.

I served my country for 15 years minus a month, and served one year in Vietnam. I was 23-24 when I left to go with three children left behind. I was a Security Police and spent my time on the perimeter on a M-60 post and worked from dust to dawn 24-12.

I am a retired USAF Cop with over 22 years of service to my country and feel that just because I retired doesn’t mean that the Oath I swore to protect my Country was terminated with my active duty status.

In 1963 as a sophomore in High School I joined my local volunteer fire departments. After 10 week of training was I admitted on a 6 month probation and provided with a copy of a document that I would sign in front of the Chief and the Assistant chief.
