We are both Vietnam Veterans. I served with the United States Air Force, and Cheryl was an Army Nurse. Cheryl was stationed at the 93rd EVAC Hospital at Long Bien Army Base in 1969, and I was with USAF Det 1, 377th Combat Support Group attached the 1st Marine Air Wing, 12th Marine Air Group at Bien Hoa Air Base and An Loc in 1971-72.
Both our parents were retired Army Officers, my brother escaped with his life in Nam after being shot down and my wife and I are prior USAF. As a SAR member from a long and continuous line of patriots,
I swore my first Oath to defend my Constitution in 1968 and often subsequently there after. I left active duty after Desert Storm. Having spent 27 years of honoring and defending the Constitution through Vietnam and up until Desert Storm
When its time to pass on to the next world I can leave feeling positive that Oath Keepers will play a big part in restoring our United States Constitution which I and others fought so hard to keep in World War II.

I served in the U.S. Army for 13 years. There is a man here that is running for sheriff and asked for my support. I had talked to him on the phone and asked him of his position on the Constitution

I took the oath on Sept. 16 2004, I am no longer active duty however I will never break my oath even in the face of persecution and or death.

I took my oath in 1979 and spent 21 years in the Army. The first 3 in Berlin (6th Inf Regt.) and the last 17+ in Special Forces (10th Group and at the Special Warfare Center).
I am looking at a large, framed grouping of my retirement certificate, a tri-folded flag, a letter from President G. W. Bush thanking me for 25 years of honorable service, and assorted badges and decorations. I can also lay hands on the package I have just sent in to AFPC for voluntary recall back to active duty for two years.
Three times in my life I have previously sworn an Oath ~ First as an Enlisted man; Second as a “Mustang” Officer, and; Third as a Law Enforcement Officer.
I emigrated to the US some 58 years ago and proudly became an American citizen in 1954 while serving overseas in the US Army. (I had volunteered for the draft). I have a deep, abiding and unequivocal love for and loyalty to my country. It is now and has always been MY privilege to only identify myself as an AMERICAN.
I am the 3rd generation marine in our family. My grandfather, my father, and now me. I am a firm believer in our Constitution and it is something that i swore to protect. I will never fire upon a US citizen under an order to take there weapons
