In that oath I declared I would defend the US Constitution against ALL enemies foreign and domestic. | December 5th, 2009

The American people never have and will never settle for the criminal acts of our so called leaders. America needs us.

The American people never have and will never settle for the criminal acts of our so called leaders. America needs us.

Oaths are a way of life for me I guess. I took my first one at age 11 when I joined the Boy Scouts. 27 years later I still hold myself bound by it. I then swore an oath when I enlisted in the Army. Still keeping that one too.

I am enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a Master at Arms. I currently work as base police and I did a tour in Afghanistan with Provincial Reconstruction Team out of Paktika.

I have been to many National Cemeteries. I have seen the rows and rows of white crosses…as far as the eye can see. Each cross representing a fallen brother who took an “Oath”. If anyone can view that and walk away without being moved in some way, he or she is emotionally and morally bankrupt.

I took an oath quite a few years ago as a sworn police officer, and that oath meant everything to me. I went through the training at the police academy, and did very well. They prepared us for everything, accidents, investigation, firearms, self defense, defensive driving, etc.

I took an oath in 1955 to defend the Constitution of the United States! When I retired from the US Army in 1977, no one came up to me and said, your oath is Terminated!

My service with the Army Security Agency during the darkest hours of the Cold War provided a window into the world of our adversaries that was revealing not only from a strategic military point-of-view, but also from the perspective of the “potential enemy’s” mindset.

I love this land the which has given shelter and love and God to not only myself but my four year old boy. He is my guiding light and it is for him and all other children of this fine land that I will always honor the oath I took before God to be a defender of liberty till my last breath.

I have taken the Oath several times over my 65 years of freedom. I am an Ex-Marine, ‘62-’69, Viet Vet, 2 1/2 tours. Short time Police Officer right after VietNam.

I took my oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.2-4-1976 at which time I entered the USAF. It was my 1st greatest honor in my life at a young age of 19.

I, Kenneth M. Gammon do solemnly swear my allegiance to the Constitution of the United States of America and the principles that made my country free. I swear no allegiance to any man, or government and will not follow any orders to:

As I now move into another phase of my life, I am saddened to see that our great country and it’s Constitution have become the targets of those who would change the very fabric of our nation.

I come from a long line of warriors with a heritage of fighting for the United States of America going back to the Revolutionary War. Many members of my family have served in the Military forces of this country.

55 years ago I took the oath to defend this country against all enemies foreign and domestic and to uphold the constitution of the United States .

As a veteran of the Iraq Invasion in 2003 and a reservist possibly looking at another deployment soon. I have come to realize that while I do not fear the enemies foreign I have been living in fear of the enemies domestic, needlessly so.

Having had the privilege of growing up here in America, I am truly devoted to upholding the Constitution and Bill of Rights for every American to live free.

I pledge to you my brothers and sisters of the Republic my unwavering devotion to stand strong by your side, to give aid and comfort you, to protect freedom, and above all defend the Constitution of the United States of America.
