When I was 19 years of age I joined the US Army,and I took an Oath to defend the Constitution Of The United States against enemies foreign and domestic. At 22 I became a Police Officer and took an Oath again defending the US Constitution
After 9/11, I simply had to do something, sooo I reapplied to the Navy and was told they had no use for a guy my age (47) at the time. Went and applied to the US Army National Guard (NH) and was told they’d love to have me serve.
I am a law enforcement officer and have worked in numerous law enforcement agencies in the last many years beginning with the military. I have taken my oath to this country many times.
I will not spit in the face of every veteran who came before me and served and died to defend this countries freedom. I will take my children, my firearms and my freedom and do what our forefathers had the courage to do
I started my oath back in the summer of 1983 prior to my service into the Marines, since then my journey has taken me in to Nebraska National Guard and later into the Army Reserves.
I joined the Navy on 25AUG99, I am from Waterford MI and went in as soon as I graduated from HS. I did three tours aboard the Aircraft Carriers, Lincoln 99-01(West Pac 00), Ronald Reagan 01-05(SA Round the Horn, Plankowner), Roosevelt 05-08(Med Cruise 06 OIF 3). And now I am in NMC Conus West Det Fallon.
I am a veteran of the U.S. Air Force 79′-83′. I felt it my duty to serve my country and proud that I did. I took my oath very serious then and that oath never expired. I will defend the honor of my family who has fought in every war from the Revolution through Vietnam.
I am a veteran and a citizen of our GREAT NATION, and like you I have become ever increasingly alarmed on what is happening to us and our loss of rights as guaranteed by the Constitution. I know many Vets that will stand shoulder to shoulder and back to back with ALL of my brother’s on active duty, reserve duty and with Law Enforcement.
The Constitution for the united States of America is the founding legal document which created our nation and our nation’s system of representative self-governance. As such, it is this government’s founding legal charter, and it defines the duties and responsibilities of the Federal government.

The Constitution is the supreme law of the land, and the Oath is to the Constitution, not to the government, or to any official. This has implications for persons summoned for jury duty. It has implications for judges and prosecutors too, should they be interested in obeying their oath.
I have taken the oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States at least six times during my life, in and out of the military service. I hold that oath to be very sacred to me personally
In 1962 we did UNITAS III, circumnavigating South America in 2 1/2 months. In Oct.we were off the coast of Ecuador when President Kennedy gave his speech telling Russia to get its Nuclear Missiles out of Cuba.
I took the Oath for the first time when I enlisted in the US Army in the early 1980’s. I took it again in 1990 as a Peace Officer. The Oath has not changed, nor has my commitment to uphold it changed. Not…One…Bit.
