I served in the US Army in Vietnam from July 1967 until October 1968. The oath I made when entering the Army is more important to me today than the day I first raised my right hand and swore to protect the Constitution of the United States of America.
I uphold that Oath as best I can. I deliver Pocket Constitutions to every child in my children’s elementary school. I am very lucky to have a school available that not only gladly accepts my donations, but they use them in classes to teach the students about what the Constitution means for all of us.
Oath Keepers does not endorse candidates, but clean elections, free from fraud, are essential to our republican form of government. I took an oath at 17 years old on September 15, 1969 when I join the US Armed Forces of which I proudly served in for 20 years. That oath was a lifetime oath to protect this country from ALL enemies foreign and domestic per the U.S. Constitution, it’s Amendments, and the Bill of Rights.
I served in the USAF 4 years. Honorable discharge. I would like to point out the obvious irony of the child “kidnapping” based upon the father being associated with “Oath Keepers”.

On Sunday, October 24, 2010, nine days before the elections, Americans are being called to step into the streets to walk a mile together in a show of support for the nation’s founding documents, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution for the United States of America.
The thought that association with any of us could be used as justification, in any form, to remove a child disgusted us. We have held the welfare of children as one our most sacred duties. Most of us are fathers, mothers and grand parents. We are the ones who always respond to a call for help.
I remember the day enlisted in the Oregon National Guard. Although only seventeen and still in high school, they waived my age to enlist so I could go to summer camp at Fort Lewis after I graduated. It was a solemn occasion when I took the oath of office to defend and protect my country

This morning, at approximately 10am, October 14, 2010, the Sheriffs and police leaders within Oath Keepers delivered their demand letter to New Hampshire DCYF on behalf of all sheriffs and police within our organization, as well as on behalf of the military and emergency personnel in our organization.
