To honor and celebrate both the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party and also the Anniversary of the Bill of Rights, I traveled to Boston this last weekend and joined other patriots in historic Faneuil Hall for the 2010 Boston Tea Party. It was a very humbling experience to speak in the same hall that had once echoed with the thundering voices of great patriots

Finally a group of Americans who believe in this great country, set aside differences to stand and protect the American way of life. We shall stand guard to protect the great country we call home and keep a safe country for the future of the American people.
Every Vet who served overseas, knows the feeling of returning home with several thousand other vets on a troop carrier. They know the feelings that overcome you as you pass by the Statue of Liberty, entering Brooklyn Army Terminal to disembark.

Looking back, I would change nothing. The Oath I took, to defend the Constitution, means a lot to me. Upon retiring from the military, I was never asked to rescind my Oath, never asked to stand down, never asked to just walk away from my convictions.
I spent 3 years in the US ARMY and received an Honorable Discharge. I served from 1966-1969 and spent 2 years in the Far East. Working out of Okinawa, I did TDY tours in Vietnam, Korea and Guam. I have always been a Patriot and My son is now serving with the 3rd INF. and just finished his 2nd tour in Iraq.
Thank you for organizing what I have said since I completed my contract with the U.S. Army in June of 1990. I took an oath to defend my country against all enemies both foreign and domestic. At no time did I say that my obligation would be fulfilled with the completion of my contract.

The U.S. is clearly headed down an authoritarian path, but I don’t think it is inevitable – not if we act to stop it. If we don’t act, and act right away and decisively, then yes, we will lose our freedom in the United States.
Silver is the common man’s currency. It always has been, and it always will be. While gold holds its place in history as the great stabilizer of economies and the shield against hyperinflation, its shine and its safety should not distract us from its brother, silver, whose uses are numerous and whose value is often more attainable for those seeking a solid investment outside of precarious paper securities.
I took an oath in 1955 to defend the Constitution of the United States when I became a LEO. I took another oath in 1969 in Idaho when I became a LEO in Idaho. I took another oath in 1979 when I became a LEO in Oregon. These oaths were pretty much the same and mean a lot to me.
I have no intention of being silent witness to any attacks upon our republic I have an obligation to my only son – that he may grow up with the knowledge of how things should be, how they are now, and how they used to be.

We veterans of today stand in a long, unbroken line of heritage and service that goes back to 1775, and even beyond. Remember, many of the men who fought in our Revolution were veterans of the French and Indian war. They had already seen battle, and that is why they were men who knew very much what they were about
