SECOND AMENDMENT SLAP IN THE FACE | May 7th, 2011

“So when the government speaks of permits and licensing, anything dealing with the exercise of a right, they are, in essence, explaining how they are converting a right into a privilege and by doing so are assaulting the rights of all Americans and showing their disdain for the Constitution and their oaths to defend it.” – Michael LeMieux

Edwin Vieira Rings The Bell | May 4th, 2011

“The second problem derives from the first. It is the ever-accelerating development of a first-class para-militarized police-state apparatus centered around the United States Department of Homeland Security, with its tentacles reaching down into every police force throughout the States and localities. Fundamentally, this apparatus is not, and never was, designed to deal with international “terrorism”. If that were its goal, its first task would be absolutely to secure the southern border of the United States, which it has never seriously attempted to do.” – Edwin Vieira

The Fort Hill Address Of John C. Calhoun 1831 | May 3rd, 2011

Short of reading Thomas E. Woods’ remarkable book, “Nullification”, the two resolutions linked above and the following address written by John C. Calhoun in 1831 comprise a condensed approach to understanding the intent of the Founders in drafting the Constitution for the united States of America. The two major approaches to interpreting the Constitution are, 1) the sovereign citizen approach, and 2) the national citizen approach. The first approach respects the rights of the individual citizen and also the rights of the sovereign States which formed the compact. The second approach would permit the national/general government an unwarranted authority over the States and the citizens of the several States. To see clearly the intent of the Founders, the Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions of 1798 and this essay by John C. Calhoun are necessary/required reading. Oath Keepers encourages all readers here to grant oneself the time to read these documents and absorb the remarkable lessons embodied in the language. Always remember – happy Oath Keepers are Oath Keepers who read!

Why Oath Keepers | May 2nd, 2011

Oath Keepers is a single-mission organization with a dual focus. Oath Keepers interacts with the Oath-Sworn, the Americans who fill the ranks of America’s military, firefighter, and Peace Officer personnel. We also are now focusing in our veterans communities. We educate men and women who swear that Oath, challenging them to learn the fine points of our Constitution and its history.

Oath Keepers’ primary purpose is very distinctly defined. It contains a three-step plan of action and initiative – we work to reach, teach, and inspire our troops, veterans, firefighters and cops to honor their Oath to the Constitution.

Florida’s Sneaky Senate Slams Fourth Amendment | May 1st, 2011

Oath Keepers members and readers are generally aware of the juggernaut assault on our national Bill of Rights and the Constitution itself as a whole. Further, our readership is aware of the powerful message in the Tenth Amendment Center’s presentation, which shows the power of the States to resist Federal incursion into their rightful spheres of sovereignty.

The Tenth Amendment now must come into play to protect the Fourth Amendment.

And Now For Some Really Bad Language _ The Kentucky Resolutions | April 28th, 2011

the several States composing, the United States of America, are not united on the principle of unlimited submission to their general government; but that, by a compact under the style and title of a Constitution for the United States, and of amendments thereto, they constituted a general government for special purposes — delegated to that government certain definite powers, reserving, each State to itself, the residuary mass of right to their own self-government; and that whensoever the general government assumes undelegated powers, its acts are unauthoritative, void, and of no force:

IMF bombshell: Age of America nears end | April 26th, 2011

BOSTON (MarketWatch) — The International Monetary Fund has just dropped a bombshell, and nobody noticed.

For the first time, the international organization has set a date for the moment when the “Age of America” will end and the U.S. economy will be overtaken by that of China.

And it’s a lot closer than you may think.

According to the latest IMF official forecasts, China’s economy will surpass that of America in real terms in 2016 — just five years from now.

Put that in your calendar.

Into The Economic Abyss | April 25th, 2011

Over the past few years, mainstream analysts have shown a tenacious blind faith in the U.S. economy and the dollar that goes far beyond religion to the point of mindless cultism, so, when even they begin to question the future of American finance (as has been occurring more and more everyday), you know its time to worry. For those that have been following my work since 2007, the events of the past few months have not been a surprise at all, however, for those just waking up to the ongoing implosion of our fiscal infrastructure, the bubbling inflationary meltdown just over the horizon and the nightmare unfolding around our national debt is rather shocking. Living through a full spectrum catastrophe is, to say the least, confusing, especially when you have no idea where the whole thing began.

Until now, the mainstream media has provided nothing but economic fantasy for the masses. They have satiated the public with what amounts to financial toddler talk for helpless preschool minds averse to any research beyond their daily 15 minute sippy cup of New York Times, CNN, MSNBC or FOX cable news sound bites. I mean, have you ever actually stopped and read a Paul Krugman article more than once? Or listened carefully to an MSNBC economic piece? It’s like being violently accosted by a band of slobbering mental deficients with securitized ARM mortgages stuffed in their pants. Of course, fewer and fewer people are now buying what these hucksters are selling. With gasoline nearing $5 a gallon, grain prices doubling, and shelf prices beginning to skyrocket, it’s hard for even the most ignorant suburban schlep to remain oblivious to the problem anymore. We are no longer on the edge of the abyss; we have fallen into it head first…

Guerrilla Jurors: Sticking it to Leviathan | April 24th, 2011

Citizens in our (once) free republic founded under the English common law system, have both the power and the right to vote according to conscience when they sit on a jury and can vote not guilty even in the face of the law and in the face of the evidence. The defendant also has a right to expect that his jury will be fully informed of their rightful power to vote “not guilty” if they believe justice requires it, regardless of the evidence. Anything less is not a real jury trial.

Obama Administration Unveils Internet ID Plan | April 21st, 2011

The Commerce Dept. unveiled a plan Friday to create a national cyber-identity system that would give consumers who opt in a single secure password and identity for all their digital transactions.

The National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace (NSTIC) will be a voluntary system designed to protect consumers from online fraud and identity theft — which hit 8.1 million people last year, at a total cost of $27 billion. The problem: The current system of half-remembered passwords jotted down on post-it notes and based on pets and maiden names simply isn’t good enough.

“Passwords just won’t cut it here,” said Commerce Secretary Gary Locke, who announced the initiative at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “We must do more to help consumers protect themselves, and we must make it more convenient than remembering dozens of passwords,” he said.
