Brandon Smith: Baltic Dry Index Signals Renewed Market Collapse | January 31st, 2012

Introduced in 1985, the Baltic Dry Index first and foremost is a measure of the global shipping rates of dry bulk goods, mostly consisting of vital raw materials used in the creation of other products. However, it is also a measure of demand for said materials in comparison to previous months and years. This is where we get into the predictive nature of the BDI…

Fanning-Baldwin 2012: A Manifesto. A Political Platform. A Declaration. | January 27th, 2012

Gubernatorial candidate Bob Fanning delivered an explosive closing statement, the text for which is given in this article.
We may call the statement a manifesto. We may call it a kryptonite political platform comprised of stunningly explosive planks. We may call it a shot across the bow of a berserk General government presently calling itself the Federal Government of the United States of America. Could it be all three?

The Daily Bell Interviews Gerald Celente | January 23rd, 2012

December 14, 2000, USA Today, the headline read, “2001 Won’t be our year, Trend Seer says.” And I warned that a wave of anti-Americanism was sweeping the globe and Americans wouldn’t be safe at home or abroad. A number of years earlier in one of my other books, Trends 2000, I coined the term “Crusades 2000″ and said there would be major terror strikes against the United States because of their foreign policy and how they were supporting dictators around the world, these monarchs and autocrats and on and on in these Muslim worlds. So this forecast comes out in December 2000, and of course, September becomes 9/11. Now I am getting flooded by the media. “How did you predict this? How did you know this was going to happen?” I said, “Are you kidding me? I have been writing about this. It has to do with foreign policy.” That was the kiss of death! “NO IT WASN’T! It was because they hate our freedom and liberty! I just heard George Bush say that,” they said.

Proposed RNC Agenda 21 Resolution | January 18th, 2012

The RNC has drafted a resolution which will be presented for inclusion in the 2012 RNC platform. This resolution seeks empowerment to expose the United Nations’ Agenda 21. That is a remarkable victory for the Liberty Movement in America, and especially for all Constitutionalists and Patriots. In my opinion, it is a promising return step, a steering back toward Barry Goldwater style Republicanism.

Brandon Smith: Decentralization Is The Only Plausible Economic Solution Left | January 17th, 2012

“While there are numerous concerns and great tribulations to be confronted and solved in our age of bedlam, from the rise of police states, to political treason, to expanding wars abroad, first and foremost, we must surmount the problem of economic collapse, or all else will be lost. Economic collapse is the trigger by which all other tyranny is made viable. It is the rationalization that will be used to convince the public that the loss of freedom is a “crucial tradeoff” for increased safety. The more centralized we as a nation become, the more centralized the world becomes, the less likely we will be to weather the tidal wave of collapse. The more decentralized we become, the more localized and independent our communities, the less we will be affected by destabilization, the more successful we will be as a people, the less rationalization the government will have to diminish our freedoms, and the greater leverage we will have if they try to diminish them anyway.”

Dead On Arrival: SOPA Shelved Indefinitely, Obama Succumbs to Pressure, Issues Official Veto Threat | January 16th, 2012

Amid significant pressure from tens of thousands of internet users and major web behemoths like Google, Facebook, and Reddit, the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) is, in its current form, Dead on Arrival:
Misguided efforts to combat online privacy have been threatening to stifle innovation, suppress free speech, and even, in some cases, undermine national security. As of yesterday, though, there’s a lot less to worry about.
The first sign that the bills’ prospects were dwindling came Friday, when SOPA sponsors agreed to drop a key provision that would have required service providers to block access to international sites accused of piracy.

Brandon Smith: NDAA Protests End In Ironic Swarm Of Arrests | January 13th, 2012

Captain Ed W. Freeman _ Medal of Honor | January 11th, 2012

After medical evacuation helicopters refused to fly into the area due to intense enemy fire, Captain Freeman flew 14 separate rescue missions, providing life-saving evacuation of an estimated 30 seriously wounded soldiers — some of whom would not have survived had he not acted. All flights were made into a small emergency landing zone within 100 to 200 meters of the defensive perimeter where heavily committed units were perilously holding off the attacking elements.

A Moment Of Inspiration | January 6th, 2012

Therefore, let us be a worthy example for our posterity by walking worthily of the freedom whereby we have been made free and by never returning back to the beggarly elements of slavery; for we are not children of the bond woman of old Europe but we are free born under these western skies, and free we must remain, for you are children of noble parental blood – they never quit, neither must you.

to take this all away? Our own government, that’s who.
