Protests Turn To Free For All But There Is Something Much More

The militarization of the police is something Oath Keepers has warned about since the death of Jose Guerena. The militarization is being encouraged by DHS. Is it really surprising that the people are reacting to the death of an unarmed young man by police? Can DHS claim this is totally unexpected? – Shorty Dawkins, Associate Editor

Riots have erupted with hundreds of protesters gathering at a suburban St. Louis police station on Monday demanding murder charges against an officer who shot to death an unarmed black teenager over the weekend. Looting just went nuts like the ’60s. While this is being painted as a race issue, there is yet another issue that is not being addressed – that is the militarization of the civil police forces around the country.

Ever since 911, there has been a trend moving toward much harsher local police. Here is a photo of how the Boston Police have militarized to the point it looks like war against the people. Even small towns are geared up for war.

The small town of Medford, Oregon with a population of 76,462 has spent millions of dollars to militarize their police. They have their own Swat Teams, yet no incident in history of some major shooting of such a nature to warrant a Swat Team. The entire reason where there was the Second Amendment was to eliminate this very threat of standing armies. We are seeing the abuse of force at every level. Medford Police bought a new vehicle that some say could survive a so-called the apocalypse. They used their Swat Team to go after a mere carjacker.

Medford, New Jersey with a population of just 23,033 also has a Swat Team. They rushed in and held two white kids on the ground at gun-point for shooting potatoes into a lake setting hair spray as the propellant.

NormanRockwell

The whole thing about standing armies has been their historical use out of boredom. It is a shame to pay for something and then not use it. Police use to be friendly as shown in Normal Rockwell’s classic painting. Sure there are a few good souls still left. But the attitudes have shifted to being just mean and nasty as they look at the civilian population as evil.

This is a problem that is brewing and is extremely dangerous to say the least. Examples of police abuse are all over the internet. There has been a loss of respect for the people and there seems to be no way to reverse this process.

maybe the people should just fire them, start over and get it right this time, they serve the people, not the other way around.

    Remember the Alamo Says:

Americans who question whether the American police forces are being militarized should reflect on the picture above of the policemen in and around the armored vehicle.

One would have to assume that the training of those pictured matches the equipment that they are being supplied with. –And a lot of the needed money is being appropriated by the U.S. Congress,
including the “Republican” controlled U.S. House of Representatives.

Americans who aren’t troubled by the picture should look again, and think what it is really means for them and their country.

    Cal Says:

Under the US Constitution the officer(s) involved in that shooting can and should be charged with murder.

Remember there is NO provision within the US Constitution for governmental professional law enforcement, none. The foregathers knew that they would be used against the people as history has always shown that “governmental forces” are always used against the people. Here in the USA it was raised to a higher level, we get to pay for the salaries of those being trained and used against us.

Because under our LEGITIMATE government there is no provision for governmental professional law enforcement, and standing military are FORBIDDEN TO BE FUNDED longer then 2 years AFTER a DECLARED WAR.

Because US law enforcement are being trained and using military arms, plus they no longer even consider their personal responsibility to keep the Oath, they can no longer really be considered a law enforcement. Why? Because the ONLY LAWFUL AUTHORITY they have is when they take and KEEP the oath to support and defend the US Constitution before anything including the duties of the position they are in; those that have not are just domestic enemies of the USA or traitor being used against the people. They have no more lawful authority then gangs, and only the same power as gangs, force.

James Madison: “Because if . . . [An Unalienable Natural Right of Free Men] . . . be exempt from the authority of the Society at large, still less can it be subject to that of the Legislative Body. The latter are but the creatures and vicegerents of the former. Their jurisdiction is both derivative and limited: It is limited with regard to the coordinate departments, more necessarily is it limited with regard to the constituents. The preservation of a free Government requires, not merely, that the metes and bounds which separate each department of power be invariably maintained: but more especially that neither of them be suffered to overleap the greater Barrier which defends the rights of the people. The Rulers who are guilty of such an encroachment, exceed the commission from which they derive their authority, and are Tyrants…”

Judge Thomas M. Cooley: “Legislators have their authority measured by the Constitution, they are chosen to do what it permits, and NOTHING MORE, and they take solemn oath to obey and support it. . . To pass an act when they are in doubt whether it does or does not violate the Constitution is to treat as of no force the most imperative obligations any person can assume.”

Dr. Edwin Vieira: “This has nothing to do with personalities or subjective ideas. It’s a matter of what the Constitution provides…

The government of the United States has never violated anyone’s constitutional rights…
The government of the United States will never violate anyone constitutional rights, because it cannot violate anyone’s constitutional rights. The reason for that is: The government of the United States is that set of actions by public officials that are consistent with the Constitution. Outside of its constitutional powers, the government of the United States has no legitimacy. It has no authority; and, it really even has no existence. It is what lawyers call a legal fiction.

… the famous case Norton v. Shelby County… The Court said: “An unconstitutional act is not a law; it confers no rights; it imposes no duties. It is, in legal contemplation, as inoperative as though it had never been passed.”

And that applies to any (and all) governmental action outside of the Constitution…” What are the defining characteristics of a limited government? They are its disabilities; what it does not have legal authority to do. Look at the First Amendment… What does it do? It guarantees freedom of speech, freedom of press, freedom of religion. But how does it do that? I quote: “Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech or of the press” etcetera. “Congress shall make no law;” that’s a statement of an absence of power. That’s a statement of a disability.” (End Dr. Vieira quote)

Though the above quote is in reference to the fake excuse of “emergency powers” used by our governments to circumvent the US Constitution and all state Constitutions it also applies here and anywhere the US Constitution, our LEGITIMATE government is being ignored.

Governmental professional law enforcement was allowed to replace the people as the Militia and to do OUR duties as assigned by the US Constitution, not those who serve within our governments whatever their title or rank. Their duties are (as assigned by the US Constitutiion:

    - Enforce the US Constitution and each state’s Constitution,
    - Enforce and keep the “Laws of the Union” (which are all laws in Pursuance thereof the US Constitution),
    - Protect the country against all enemies both domestic and foreign, and
    - “to suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions”.

When they took over the duties of the people their FIRST duty was to ensure the freedom and liberty of the people, NOT to enforce governmental policies UNLESS they are in pursuance thereof the US Constitution.

Governmental professional law enforcemetn are being used as the vanguard to destroy this nation from within, THAT is why those traitors within the federal government and within the Pentagon/military industrial complex are giving them military training/brain washing, and military arms that are lawfully required to go to the Militias within each state.

Dr Edwin Vieira states in his book “Constitutional “Homeland Security” Volume 1: the Nation in Arms”: “That means “that NONE of those tasks are assigned to the Army, to a Navy, to a (constitutionally unknown) National Guard, or least of all to any unnamed professional police, security, or intelligence agencies of the General Government or of any state or locality. Rather, the Constitution’s explicit emphasis on the Militia as the preeminent forces by politicians of a garrison, “national-security”, or police state…
So those bound by Oath who “knowingly, with willful blindness, or in reckless disregard of the consequences of his/her action” votes for an unconstitutional act, bill, etc; when a “President or state governor refuses to veto it and instead executes it; or when a Judge, either of the supreme and inferior courts of the general government, or of any state knowingly declares such a statute valid and enforceable – each and every one of them violates his oath of office….
A remedy MUST exist for every individual harmed by each and every violation. That remedy MUST impose some personal liability on the violator – it being his own Oath or Affirmation he himself forswore. And that personal liability cannot be evaded by his or his cronies’ assertion of some ersatz official immunity”. (End quote by Dr Edwin Vieira)

The Second Amendment states it quite clearly: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

If the governmental professional police – federal and state, cannot LAWFULLY and CONSTITUTIONALLY do their duties as they agreed to when they took that position and gave their personal guarantee they would with the taking of the Oath; then we need to end them and go back to the Militias. We need to hold them accountable for EVERY unlawful action they commit until they start doing their duty lawfully, or we replace them with each state’s Militia as our wise framers REQUIRE of us.

    Ron Jr. Says:

Cal I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again! You are the man! I was reading an article in a Philly news paper. (very liberal one at that) And the author equated what’s happening in Mo. as a race thing. He pointed out that most of the people that are protesting are black while a large majority of the police are white! He also stated that there’s a police state mentality going on all over the country. Now like I said. ( a very liberal newspaper).
I pointed out to him in the comment section about his hypocrisy on the matter. Number one was the race issue. It doesn’t matter what the color of the police are! If they’re black or white. They ARE the police and they’re doing this all over the country. It just so happened that the area this is happening is predominately black. ( sorry Cal I have to get off the computer I’ll finish later) my apologies.

First i am a member on the east coast but what i want to know is where are the oath keepers to help keep the peaceful protesters from getting abused by law enforcement? They were quick to get to the Bundy ranch but have not heard a thing about getting to ST Louis? I would like a answer to this question. If the oath keepers are not going to respond to this i will no longer be a member. Our rights are our rights no matter what neighborhood they are in.

[Editor's Note: Joe, it's a bit tacky to use the threat of resigning your membership if Oath Keepers does not act as quickly as you would require of us. We are discussing what we can and should do, but that discussion involves also getting the FACTS. We want a clear understanding of what is actually going on and gathering all the facts does take some time. Please don't let the hyper-freakout buzz overwhelm you, Friend. Thank you. And thank you also for your membership and for reading at Oath Keepers national website. We appreciate you.

PS: While you're patiently waiting for us go gather the facts and chart a course for official Oath Keepers action, you'll be glad to use some minutes to read this latest from Dr. Vieira:

    Ron Jr. Says:

Cal I’m sorry. I had to drive my son to work. To continue, The Bundy situation was the people there were predominately white. The thing that in my mind makes these two scenarios similar is the gov/ police/ rent a cops. (that’s what I call them) were over reaching the bounds of their authority with a show of overwhelming force. This is happening all over the country. I indicated to the author that the only reason he was bringing light to this fact is because a black man was killed who was unarmed. Not because of the fact that police are militarized. But he injected race into it and just touched on the police part.
As you well know. Before the revolution the British were using the same type of tactics against the population. Eventually it let to a major shooting war, then revolution. Here where I live in N.J. there was an incident not far from me in another town were seven shots were fired into the police station. Is this part of the beginning I question? I say that because you can only put patriotic Americans so far before there’s going to be a pushback. I mean it’s inevitable!
A big difference between the Bundy scenario and this one is, people at the Bundy ranch were armed just like the police were, and the police backed down. Now since then police departments all over the country are buying armored vehicles. Basically tanks! WTF, is what I say! Why? Things aren’t looking good. Everyday it’s something or another.

    Remember the Alamo Says:

The feds and those who really wield the power have got to be especially happy with the first two pictures.

To control rioting and looting, which the feds love, their militarized police move in to control the people, whether they be the rioters, reporters, or citizens lawfully observing what is happening.

IT’S ALL ABOUT CONTROL, EXERCISING MORE AND MORE CONTROL.

Maybe Obama is exceptionally happy with his approval numbers. They prove that Americans think that
things are getting really bad for America. Maybe that is why he is always smiling. He is bringing on Marxism, Fascism, or whatever name one wants to use for dictatorship, faster than he ever thought possible. –And the U.S. Congress does nothing, while the American people are all “wired” up to their electronic toys and being indoctrinated by everything that Hollywood and the T.V. networks can put in front of them.

  8. 8
    Remember the Alamo Says:

“The militarization is being encouraged by the DHS.”

…That is by the federal government and those who rule –with the “consent” of the U.S. Congress as they do nothing and hide behind Obama and let him take the flak.

Did these police just come out of nowhere or were they profiled before being hired or promoted to make sure that they would fit into the program of the subjugation of the America people. Do they really need guidance on how they are to perform their “duty” or are they more than willing participants. And once the police departments are saturated by these personalities how easy is it going to be for the American people to get them out.
