Action Alert: Boots On The Ground Need Donations for food and water at Bundy Ranch Standoff

As many of you have heard there is a standoff brewing in Nevada at the Bundy Ranch.  Oath Keepers is involved, as you’ll read in our article here -

A Delegation of state legislators, lead by Washington State Representative Matt Shea, along with a  delegation of current serving Sheriffs, lead by Sheriff Richard Mack of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association, and military and police members of Oath Keepers, are converging on the site of a stand-off between federal law enforcement and Nevada Rancher Cliven Bundy, to prevent bloodshed and to stand in defense of hardworking rural Americans who are under assault by a runaway federal government.

Oath Keepers is calling for Boots On The Ground. Because this is a federal incursion we are calling for volunteers from all over America. Anyone who can, please get to Nevada ASAP. Please see our press release at above link for details.  Stewart Rhodes is on a jet right now ( Thursday morning, April 10, 2014) and will arrive there this afternoon.  Early reports indicate a ground-swell of Patriots is building already on-site. This is a mobilization, with Sheriffs, Legislators, organization leaders, Patriots of all sorts, and especially Oath Keepers!, all showing up to stand united on the land.

Oath Keepers is asking all who cannot make the trip to the Bundy Ranch in Nevada to assist this mobilization by donating for food and water for the “Boots On The Ground” who will stand to oppose the idiocy of the BLM/federal government. Whatever you can send will be a blessing for the Patriots out there in the Nevada landscape. Just as in any military combat operation, the supply lines are extremely important for victory.  You are the logistical support for those on the front line. Please know that your generosity is as important as the presence of the Patriots who are standing out there on the land. And also remember, whether you can donate for the logistics or not, your prayers for our victory are also important. Spread the word. Share the link.

With Oath Keepers’ gratitude and appreciation, please pitch in here:

Click here to donate or fill out the form below.

And don’t forget to read our press release in full -

God Bless America!

The Federal Government is betting on compliance, mustered by an overwhelming presence of federal officers. This is risky business for them, yet in a larger sense may actually aid the government in its grander scheme, depriving Americans of their 2nd Amendment rights.
Harken back to Waco. I am not one to bemoan the fiery end of the compound members at Waco. I am more inclined to look disapprovingly on the federal government’s overbearing response and the local governments failure.
Waco could have been brought to a satisfactory end. Violators of alleged acts of abuses of children or other violations could have been arrested without incident and justly tried. No others than the local authorities needed to be involved. Certainly, no one needed to have died.
Ultimately, the burden falls upon both the federal and local government for acting improperly regardless the offense of the Waco residents real or imagined.
We are precisely in a similar situation now and Mr. Bundy is correct in his assessment. This is a startling scenario not unlike Ruby Ridge and Waco.
Unfortunately, the government can kill you and the travesty goes into obscurity in meetings, commissions, bureaucracy, and prosecutors of every stripe. Each answering to no one in any sensible fashion.
Reno did step up and say “I take full responsibility,” turned out her office lights, and went home.
    Look at Benghazi!
    Any answers to that yet?
I don’t believe any are forthcoming because nothing is to be done.
    Our government is corrupt!
Unfortunately, I don’t believe the State of Nevada is about to step it up and demand its sovereignty be respected and defend its citizens. Were Nevada to do so, the federal officers would immediately be challenged and the Nevada’s national guard mobilized.
Nevada in such a scenario might discourage its citizens militias from showing up and even turn its power against any thinking to do so. That should not deter citizens in responding to this egregious government overreach.
It is probably not unlike a sheriff telling townsmen to return home and not summarily lynch the bad guy in his cell as commonly seen in the old westerns. The problem here is, the bad guy just happens to be the fellow (our federal government) who governs the sheriff (Creating an understanding the sheriff is responsible to the federal government). The townsfolk are not aware what absurdity could arise, because neither they nor those who had been sheriff had been vigilant.
Look at how officers are identified on the Metropolitan Police Force of Las Vegas! “Homeland Security Saturation Team,” should be evidence enough law enforcement has morphed into a federal agency down to the local levels.
Now we face these blatant erosions of our rights.
Early on it was thought, should the government become oppressive, the legislatures of the states peopled by virtuous citizens, would resist federal intrusion. Should the legislatures of the states not do so, it was incumbent upon the people themselves. The people, the “Militia,” yet remained to to resist. The people themselves were to strive to remain both moral and virtuous and guard with jealousy the rights of freemen when government at local and national levels began to become corrupted!
Without weapons, that shall not be possible.
The first thing the rapist does is to bind his victim or incapacitate them.
Then and only then is he free to work his evil.
Nevada would not be serving its people well if it does move against its own people and any coming to the aid of the Bundys. These shall be persons acknowledging the claims established by our Declaration of Independence and cemented in the Bill of Rights.
Also, it is clear in our Constitution that states were not to be divested of rights as sovereign entities except by consent of the people.
This is supposed to be able to be understood by the least of our citizens, and I believe it is understood. But as common in the realm of judges and lawyers, the simple precepts of freedom have become shrouded in mystery.
We have become weak, sucking at the federal teat.
The federal presence in Nevada is evidence of a tyrannical will being imposed.
