Playing Hardball In Connecticut

Ar-15

by Shorty Dawkins

There is a video on the NBC Connecticut website that is worth looking at. It can be found here. There is an article with it. By the look of it, the State Government is gnashing its teeth over the prospect of terrifying guns owners into registering their “assault weapons” and high capacity magazines; the magazines that hold more than ten rounds. Not registering your “assault weapons” will be a felony with a minimum jail time of 1 year, and seizure of your weapons.

They are playing hardball. Lines formed the day after Christmas for those willing to register their guns. How many are refusing to register? We will never know, but if hundreds, or even thousands, of gun owners should refuse to register, then the jails and courts will be overwhelmed.  If the “authorities” are playing hardball, then the residents of the Constitution State, should play hardball in return. Flood the jails and courts. Demand a jury trial, and be sure to plead innocent. If there are any jurors in CT who have a conscience, they will use jury nullification to free defendants.

But, this is Connecticut. This is where the Sandy Hook shootings occurred. The State is next to Massachusetts, where the Boston Marathon bombings happened. It is a bastion of liberalism, which means the public, in general, grovels at the feet of their Masters. I’m sorry, but to call it the Constitution State is absurd. They have no respect for the Constitution, else why are they trampling the Second Amendment?

Another possibility for the residents of Connecticut, is to leave the State. That’s right, pack your bags and leave it. Leave it to the criminals, both in and out of government who encourage crime, even as they commit it. Passing unConstitutional Laws, and enforcing them at the point of a gun, (which is ironic that people with guns will act self-righteous as they disarm you and throw you in prison), enforcing un Constitutional Laws is a crime. Those enforcing these Laws are guilty of false arrest, as the Supreme Court has stated on several occassions that Laws abhorent to the Constitution are “null and void” as soon as they are passed and signed. If there is no lawful reason to deprive citizens of guns, then those who use their badges and guns to take guns away and imprison the gun owners, are guilty of a myriad of offenses and do not deserve to wear the badge or hold a position of trust in any capacity.

Connecticut gun owners, why not come to Montana, where guns are common and no State Government will attempt to deprive us of our Creator given Rights to protect ourselves, not only against criminals outside of government, but those inside it, as well.

I live in CT. Been doing everything in my power to fight the good fight here, but when you have gun owners here who are all falling over themselves to “register” their weapons and mags, well that makes our legislators feel more empowered to pass even more unconstitutional laws, probably this legislative session. Makes me sick how they all feel that they have to register or be an instant felon for owning something that was legal before Jan 1, but not after Jan 1st if they don’t register. Cowards all. I will be moving my family to a free state as soon as I can, but probably not for another year. I have chosen to NOT REGISTER and just move the newly banned items out of state. I have written my legislators and requested that they remove “Constitution State” from our license plates. In fact in defiance of the state, I put a black line through the words “Constitution State” on all my plates. It truly is a lost cause here. Can’t wait to move to my soon to be new “free state” of SC.

I do not care if my name and info. is published. My name is Dennis Nash I am a retired prison guard from CT. I Have lived in my state my whole life…. I have risked my life protecting the people of CT more times than I care to talk about. Now I find myself a multiple felon? I have never committed a serious crime in my life. My house is for sale and I will be moving as soon as it does to a free state. I did not comply with the first CT weapons ban and I will not comply with this one…..for the record to the officials in Tyrannical the state of CT – I do not have any non compliant weapons in my possession at this time, they are in another place and YOU will not force me into giving up my rights. I have never been afraid of death, I have faced it many times unarmed and outnumbered. I speak of fear at this time…. not of death and sacrifice but fear of leaving my son and daughter fatherless and my wife alone, one that has stood by me through thick and thin, they do not deserve this. Someone has to make a stand so that THEY can live free… I will not comply. I will not comply to illegal searches and if it comes to it, I will die a patriot because I will not go quietly when the battlefield comes to my door. A warrior accepts death every time he steps into the battlefield but this is just, it is not right . I will not beg permission to exercise my rights. This is ground zero my brothers, if it comes to it do not let our sacrifice be in vain.

When Katie Worthman was a little girl in Austria, she witnessed firsthand Adolph Hitler’s rise to power and the Soviet communist occupation that followed. She also witnessed, for decades, the distortions of the media when it came to the reporting of the events.

From her eyewitness perspective, Worthman said that the whole thing didn’t happen overnight, in a brutal attack, like the media portrays it, but rather, it evolved into a dictatorship gradually, over a period of a few years. Hitler didn’t come across as someone evil, to be feared, initially. ”In the beginning, Hitler didn’t look like, or talk like a monster at all. He talked like an American politician.”

Here are some things that occurred in Austria, according to Worthman, that just might look familiar to Americans:

Hitler was elected with 98% of the vote.
Hitler destroyed the existing medical system when he brought a national healthcare plan into being.
First, people were forced to register their guns to cut down on crime.
Then they were forced to turn them in or risk capital punishment for keeping them.
Worthman’s eyewitness account is eerily reminiscent of what we can see going on in the United States today.

“In 1938, the media reported that Hitler rode into Austria with tanks and guns and took us over. Not true at all,” she says. “The Austrian people elected Hitler by 98% of the vote by means of the ballot box. Now you might ask how could a Christian nation… elect a monster like Hitler. The truth is at the beginning Hitler didn’t look like or talk like a monster at all. He talked like an American politician.<

“We also had gun registration. All the Austrian people… had guns. But the government said, ‘the guns are very dangerous. Children are playing with guns. Hunting accidents happen and we really have to have total controlled safety. And we had criminals again. And the only way that we can trace the criminal was by the serial number of the gun.’

“So we dutifully went to the police station and we registered our guns. Not long after they said, ‘No, it didn’t help. The only way that we won’t have accidents and crimes [is] you bring the guns to the police station and then we don’t have any crimes anymore and any accidents. And if you don’t do that: capital punishment.’

“So that’s what we did. So dictatorship didn’t happen overnight. It took five years. Gradually, little by little to escalate up to a dictatorship.

“When the people fear the government, that’s tyranny. But when the government fears the people… that’s liberty. Keep your guns. Keep your guns and buy more guns.”

    Trooper Lazarus Says:

Why do free men have firearms?
    Not for birds.
Not for deer. Not only for hunting.
An armed man has the ability to say, “No.”
    No. I will not comply.
No. You will not take my property.
No. You will not take my Liberty or Freedom.
Yes. The state may take your life. Even if you are armed.
    But they WILL pay dearly.
I firmly believe that Genocide is the end game for this Regime.
Why else arm DHS with all that ammo?
Why drones, 7500 + to fly over America?
Why the so called executive orders that result in a dictator.
Why are the Politicians/Officials so damned and determined to take away
my constitutional right to bear arms and, “Say, NO.”
Go to YouTube. JPFO has a video “Innocents Betrayed”.
I believe this is why the politicians want us all defanged and disarmed.
I see no other logical explanation or end result.

It’s good to see some CT patriots posting here. Makes me feel like i’m all alone when I don’t see others posting about what’s happened and will be happening in CT soon. I too am a Vet, served for 8 yrs, USA. I took an oath to protect the Constitution. And that oath has no expiration date, never will for me. I just came across a post on one of the CT gun sites. VERY disturbing news that a leading CT gun rights attorney has come out with her opinion in an article on what she fears will be happening in CT after Jan 1st. Here’s her quote:

“When the registration records of assault weapons are tallied after Jan. 1, 2014, there will inevitably be differences between the list of assault weapons registered and the list that already exists in the state database of long-gun purchases voluntarily reported by retail gun stores prior to April 4, 2013. When that happens, state and local police will come knocking on the doors of law-abiding citizens to interrogate, inspect, and threaten arrest if registration records do not match the purchase records. The problem is that reporting private sales of long guns prior to April 4, 2013, was not required. And so, for many firearms there is a record of purchase but no record of subsequent sale.”

    FUBAR Says:

Coming to Texas soon? ATF gathering intel.
I have witnessed on multiple occasions
at a high volume gun shop.
    1. ATF personnel with stacks upon stacks of Federal Forms
that buyers complete upon a gun purchase.
    2. The ATF was Illegally correlating buyer purchases
and entering the NAME OF BUYER, Firearm Type, Quantity, of ALL
buyers across several years of purchases.
    3. They were then entering data into a LAPTOP database.

It is unlawful. They are not supposed to keep a database like that.
Why do ATF want this info? These were legal purchases.
My theory is that they are preparing for what Obamunista’s have planned ahead.
    Good luck on that.
They will have to quietly round us up under false pretenses
    using local law enforcement assets
with the license plate recognition equipment.
TEXANS are armed to the teeth
to the point of being stupid about it.
If they try Connecticut law in Texas, it would get VERY VERY bad.
    Chechnya comes to mind.
Texans would NEVER stand for confiscation nonsense.
Mr. Dennis Nash, I salute you. Would be proud to have you as neighbor.
Come to Texas to be among well armed, Freedom, Liberty,
loving people. Your kind are welcome Mr. Nash.
    Bring your family, friends, firearms.
