- Wednesday, the Nut-Left Democrats on the Senate Judiciary voted to report the Feinstein gun ban –which could ban between 50% and 80% of guns and magazines in circulation today. It may not even get a majority in the Senate – much less the 60 votes needed to pass. And it is being pushed primarily to allow anti-gun Democrats from pro-gun states to pretend to be pro-gun.
- Tuesday, the Judiciary Committee passed, by a 10-to-8 vote, the universal gun registry bill. Chief sponsor Chuck Schumer has been unable to achieve Republican support from anyone other than the anti-gun Illinois Republican Mark Kirk. Therefore, unless another Republican sells out at the last minute, we believe we can successfully filibuster this ill in the full Senate.
- Tuesday, by a vote of 14-to-4, the Judiciary Committee also reported a Boxer bill that would increase, by $10 million, the funding for an existing school safety program. The money could be used for armed guards, as the NRA proposes, or it could be used for an anti-gun study. It is therefore neither inherently “pro-gun” nor “anti-gun.” We have said we would oppose proceeding to Boxer if it is a vehicle for votes on other anti-gun measures – but that we would not object to its passage, without amendment, by “unanimous consent.”
- This brings us to the central battlefield: Last week, the committee reported, by a vote of 11-to-7, the Veterans Gun Ban, S. 54. The lone GOP vote in favor came from Chuck Grassley, who indicated he would oppose the bill on the Senate floor unless it was improved from the committee-reported version.
As we see it, the chief strategic objective is now to keep gun control votes from coming to the Senate floor by opposing the “motion to proceed” to any bill which is going to be used as a vehicle for gun votes.
That would certainly mean that senators should oppose moving to proceed to universal gun registries or the Veterans Gun Ban. But it also means that we oppose moving to proceed to so-called non-controversial bills, such as Boxer, if those bills are being brought up as a vehicle for anti-gun amendments.

Ask your Senator to oppose any motion to proceed – by filibuster if necessary – to the Feinstein gun ban, the universal gun registry bill, the Veterans Gun Ban (S. 54), or to any other piece of legislation being brought up as a vehicle for votes on these anti-gun proposals.

Thanks for the link, GOA and Larry Pratt are true Americans. I just used this link and added a seething addition in my letter to my “representatives”. I just hope i have conveyed a picture of the drool dripping from my fangs and the veins popping out on my neck. I hope i have made it clear that im not just irritated, or miffed…….im fucking pissed off.

Ole Joe Biden.
There is a serious screw up in the DNA sequence some where down that line.
I’m not sure if it was caused by overexposure to leaking TV picture tubes in the 1950’s-60’s, the possibility of Fetal Alcohol syndrome, or just Genetic garbage floating around.
Now We all know ole Joe does “Odumbo’s” bidding like a dog drooling after a treat….
But I can’t fathom how this guy got in to a college, let alone make it through a college and on to a career in much of anything? I mean, my 6 year old Nephew has more common sense than this guy!
Ole Joe is the antithesis of stupid. If you look up stupid most likely you will see a photo
of ole Joe. Although the road ahead of us in this venture to secure our God given Rights and the
the rights provided to us in the Constitution. I have come to realize that the Lord in heaven
must have a great sense of humor. After all God did want us all to be happy in this life, as much as we can be. But every once in a while God comes along and provides us with examples of laughable
genetic errors in human beings and sets them on the course for public display for all to see.
I truly think that God does this to let us all know that we should be so thankful we have the ability to use common sense. I have to wonder how many times Ole Joe’s parents warned him about the dangers of sticking his hand in a moving fan blade while trying to stop the blades from spinning…LOL. Or Cutting the power cord to the TV with his Mom’s scissors….Are our elected politician truly this ignorant and dumb? God Help us.
Then a junior Senator from Texas, Ted Cruz pretty much slapped the Democrats in the face today by lathering them all with a good history lesson. Deine Feinstein (AKA the Wicked Witch of the West) and the Old Coot Sen Patrick Leahy of Vermont who is a prime example of why we need Term limits on these offices (He’s friking 72 years old for God Sake!) They were both pretty insulted by this young politician. They tried to insult him back by stating how much they had seen and witnessed an that he was a Junior Senator and more or less should shut up and sit down and do as your told. I I for one am glad he didn’t! As an elected Senator he has just as much right to express the position of his constituents who elected him as anyone else in the Senate or congress. This guy is no dummy either.
He was Solicitor General for the state of Texas. He was the director of the office of Policy planning the Federal Trade Commission, he was an assistant Attorney General for the the U.S. Dept of Justice. He was an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, where he taught U.S. Supreme Court litigation. He also served as a law clerk to William Rehnquist, Chief Justice of the United States, and J. Michael Luttig of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Cruz was the first Hispanic ever to clerk for a Chief Justice of the United States. He has also been endorsed by former Texas Congressman Ron Paul, and former U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania Rick Santorum.(Two of my favorite people).
And Diane Feinstein insults this guy by saying she is not a sixth grader? No she got about as far as 7th grade. And she still doesn’t know what the difference is between an AR-15 and an assault rifle. And Sen.Patrick Lahey has been around since the invention of the Cap and Ball Rifle, and the Radio by Marconi. He’s 72 years old for God sake. You would think at 72 he would be spending more time in the Senate men’s room changing his depends than paying attention.
But then today, forgetting he left his mic open, he starts making comments about Cruz. Talk about unprofessional and out of touch. We need more people like Senator Cruz in Washington.
It’s too bad he was not born an American Citizen. Just think if Sen Ted Cruz continued to protect the Constitution we might have had a chance in defeating Obama in 2016. After all now he’s trying to find a way to be able to run AGAIN in 2016. But then Again Obama isn’t An American either and he got elected, Why Can’t Cruz do the same thing? Ted Cruz is the son of a Cuban refuge. His father was jailed and tortured by the Fulgencio Batista regime and fought for Fidel Castro in the Cuban Revolution but “didn’t know Castro was a Communist” and later became a staunch critic of Castro when the rebel leader took control and began seizing private property and suppressing dissents (Kind of sounds like Diane Feinstein and the whole DEMONcratic party today doesn’t it?.)
This guy in my opinion for what it’s worth has got some “Stones” and didn’t even flinch at the
comments made about him. He’s one to watch in the coming years I think and will do a lot for those of us who support and defend the Constitution.
I hope others feel the same way as I do about this Republican Patriot. Let’s hope the system doesn’t destroy his spirit.
We all might want to drop him a thank you note for all he is trying to do. I know I will be sending him one.

where is the outrage? with almost half of all americans now gun owners, maybe more, i have yet to see so much as a single protestor anywhere near a congressman’s office or outside a media center. do people think all they have to do is email or call their congressman and all will be well? got news for you, they simply hire more people to man the phones so they are not bothered. they never even read your letters. they go straight in the trash. understand, this is about incrementalism. they will demand everything then appear to compromise by settling just for the assault weapons ban, magazine ban, and registration. they are moving heaven and earth to wear you down, and they are succeeding. put it another way anyone should be able to understand, you don’t get a bully to back off by words. these leftists are bullies with power and the only lanquage they understand is force. so, either you force them to change their minds or they will force you to change yours and do their will. in effect, once this happens, you become their slaves. the bible condemns not just the wicked but those who see wickedness committed and turn aside their heads and pretending it does not effect them. so far our side has done nothing. it is time to hit the streets folks. it is time to harass those who harass us. sit back and on the sidelines and i guarantee you the day comes when those who want to keep their guns are led away to be silenced. we are at our alamo moment gentlemen. a few of us must answer and be willing to trade our lives to stop the advance of this communist monster in the white house. i will stand by my words all the way to the gallows. sadly, i have not found a single law enforcement or military member out there willing to even get off the couch and join me. does not bode well for this nation. pray and ask God to deliver us because mankind is severely lacking in moral fiber and intestinal fortitude.
