It’s A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World

Rudyard Kipling wrote a poem titled, “If”, whose opening lines have a lot to say about today:
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
To deny the World has gone bonkers is to deny reality. It is, indeed, a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. Some of you may be old enough to have seen a movie titled: It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, back in the sixties (I think it was). In that movie, there was a race to find a great treasure, (literally a race, sort of like a scavenger hunt). It was a wild and crazy movie with cameos from lots of big stars. You could say the surrealness of the movie matched that of today.
It is a mad world, there is no doubt about it. Have you heard about the invasion of Malaysia by hundreds, if not thousands, of AlQueda linked terrorists that, according to Tony Cartalucci, are being supported by the US and Saudi Arabia? You haven’t? It seems the mainstream media is staying hush about it. Is Malaysia the new Mali? Is it another resource rich land ripe for the picking by Anglo-European globalist conglomerate empires? Will US forces be sent to topple yet another Country? Time will tell, as we learn more about the invasion.
How many wars must we be involved in? It is insane! We are on the brink of economic disaster, yet we keep expanding our military reach, deploying our troops, special forces, drones, and military equipment and training to more and more countries. Throughout history it is Empires on the brink of collapse that become reckless and expansionist. Hubris brings about a great fall.
What can we do as this is all happening? Prepare. First is to keep your head straight, recognizing it is the Elite who are insane, not us. In their furious drive for a One World Order, it is us who they depend upon to cower and meekly stand by. We must stand firm in our resolve not to aid them. Trust your own abilities, chief among them your reasoning abilities. Build up your food stocks, medicine stocks, fuel and ammunition.. Start creating a barter network among trusted friends and neighbors. Get your investments out of the stock market and banks, keeping only enough in the banks for a month or two worth of payments. Invest your money in supplies and durable goods.
Make no mistake, the US Empire is going down. The dollar will devalue, perhaps becoming worthless. Russia and China, along with other nations, are eliminating the use of the dollar as a reserve currency. Europe is a basket case. China, Russia and India are on a gold buying spree. Basic grain stocks are at a worldwide low point. Floods in some locations and droughts in others have depleted grain stocks. If this year’s harvest is not big, we are in deep trouble.
Brandon Smith, in a number of articles both here, on Oath Keepers, and at his own website, alt-market.com has laid out what we face from an economic and survival perspective. If we keep our heads, and work with our trusted neighbors, those of us in rural areas should come through this in reasonable shape. Those who remain in the cities will not fare well, I’m afraid.
The key is to prepare. Do not rely upon FEMA or DHS to help you. If they help you, it will be with a high price tag, your freedom. Both FEMA and the DHS are agents of the One World Order gang of thieves. True, when the SHTF, some of those who work for these agencies will quit and go home to protect their families. I hope many do. It will be the right thing to do. The US Government is out of control. Gun grabbing, drone worshiping, thieving control freaks deserve no help from us.
One thing to be aware of when things turn really bad; stay away from the thrashing tail of the dying monster.

Hi Shorty, This morning I listened to Rand Paul’s speech. Rand is a temperate men, as evidenced by his speeches when he address the behavior of fellow politicians. Rand Paul began his speech by demurring, saying, ‘I cannot say whether or not Obama is a good man or a bad man’. Then he went on to talk about a conversation he had with Obama which went something like this:
Senator Paul: Will you kill Americans on American soil?
Obama: I haven’t killed anyone yet, …but I might.
I am not as temperate in my speech as Senator Paul.Does anyone think that what Obama said is humorous, charming, or that it can be taken to mean anything other than what we all know to be true? Obama is planning to be the sole judge, jury and executioner of Americans, and, in particular, those Americans on his hit list. He is a bloodthirsty, lawless madman. If Congress does not move for impeachment, then they will have lost all right to say they represent the American people.
This situation continues to worsen each day. Yes, the Bushes and the Clintons have done their fair share, but Obama is carrying the traitor’s flag farther and faster into the realm of fascism than anyone before him. I am ashamed of the Congress for not taking action before this, but they absolutely must take action now, or there will be no honest government left.
May the beast that rules his heart devour him whole.

Dear Linda, I agree with you, but I think that most in the senate and congress are well aware of what is going on and are in on it! Take McCain and Lindsey Graham etc. they signed the NDAA gleefully as did most. And even Paul said he was not against terrorists that propose an imminent threat against the U.S.Well guess who they think the imminent threat are, IT IS US. I really don’t think that the gov. is too worried about Islamic extremists Now I do not consider myself a radical extremist nor am I a traitor to my country. We all know who wants to kill the constitution, but do you think that Paul or Cruz or a few of the freshman senators or congressmen are going to stop these unconstitutional traitors in D.C.? I Don’t think so. And if all of the U.S. military should stand for the constitution and they won’t but even if they did, Do you think that the U.S. would hesitate on sending in NATO/UN troops with the same drones, attack helicopters with 3000 rd. per min. gat. guns to mow us down. As for shorty’s view that those living in rural areas may fare better than city dwellers, well yes for a while until the cities are subdued, but after that if they consider you (like James Rawels the patriots book type people) a threat, an Apache helicopter or a drone would make short order of you. I hate to sound like the devil’s advocate here, but my purpose is to ask some serious questions and I am sure that there are a lot of people here that are much more intelligent than I. If anyone can come up with some REAL solutions to this, please reply.

P.S. Please forgive me if I sound descending,or a trouble maker. Believe me it is not my intention. Nor do I mean to be disrespectful of Linda or Shorty. As I said above I am looking for real problem solving if things go down.(And I BELIEVE THEY WILL)But really how can we fend of what is coming down the pike with semi-auto rifles and sniper rifles? This is really all I am asking. If the board deems my comments as disturbing, please remove them and I will comment no more. Thanks Mike

Hi Mike, I think we are all interested in having solutions. I am not the ultimate purveyor of solutions (since I am struggling with all of this myself) but I will say this much:
The first solution is to make as many people aware as possible, so people face reality and get ready.
Which reality am I referring to? You are responsible for your own safety; you are responsible for ensuring that your elected servants are working hard to protect your rights; you are responsible for ensuring that you and your family members have food, water and shelter. If you are awake, then you are responsible for figuring out your own solutions within your family and community and getting ready.
Stewart Rhodes, Shorty Dawkins, Elias Alias (etc) are doing their best to get the word out to the military so that the military will NOT seize your guns, and they will NOT fire on you in a worst case scenario. You should join them in that effort. Get the word out; prepare yourself and prepare to defend yourself.
From my perspective, is not true that the Congress is “on it” or that they have been behaving responsibly. If they had been behaving responsibly, as I already said in many previous statements, then Obama would have been impeached by now. Obama’s behavior is best described by the following quote, which I credit to Infowars:
“As Senator Rand Paul expressed with stunning clarity, it is now clear that Obama believes there are no limits on his power, no limits on the military use of drone strikes, and no guaranteed protections for united States citizens on US soil. The Bill of Rights is null and void in Obama’s mind. Due process can be selectively ignored at the will of one man in a position of power. You are no longer afforded any real rights or protections unless Obama wants you to have them. ”
Mike, you are responsible for your own survival, your own choices and your own wellbeing. No one here, or anywhere else, can solve your problems for you. There is ample material here and elsewhere on the internet to help you gather supplies, and get a plan together.
Shorty’s article was well spoken and I agree with him. If you don’t have a plan, then now is the time to make one. All the best Linda

I see that as Plan A, Bob, but Plan A isn’t working. If enough people wake up and insist on it, then Plan A is my choice. Plan B is to prepare.
