270 Sheriffs and 7 State Sheriffs Associations Saying ‘NO’ to Obama Gun Control

Sheriffs have risen up all over our great nation to stand up against the unconstitutional gun control measures being taken.

The following is a list of sheriffs and state sheriff’s associations from who have vowed to uphold and defend the Constitution against Obama’s unlawful gun control measures. I applaud these public servants for their courage and conviction.

I call on sheriffs all over this nation to add their voices to the growing numbers of faithful protectors of our freedom. -Richard Mack

You notice the Sheriff of Citrus County Florida isn’t vowing to prevent taking guns away from it’s citizens. That’s because Sheriff Dawsey is a Democrat who follows the Obama line hook line and sinker, and the residents of Citrus County re-elected this socialist Sheriff along with Obama so that they can assure this county will be disarmed and submit to the feds when the time comes to lay down our rights.

This is absolutely a critical issue, as Sheriffs are a huge possible resource. The are the only heads law enforcement that are elected, not appointed. Police Chiefs, Captains of State Police and Federal agency heads are all appointed. Sheriffs are local and can act as a barrier to other law enforcement agencies.

We need them on our side.

I am so proud of you Sheriffs, we all are. A lot of people wont have any idea what you have saved them from. But thats what a true patriot does, he stands on the hill, ever vigilant of threat to those he has sworn to protect, even when their ignorance blinds them of the threat. Sincerely thank you . Btw this needs to go viral…… RUGER has a petition that they will send to ALL of your representatives if you fill it out and sign it. I did and actually got a response from 3 of them, a pretty lame response but a response none the less. i just found out in franklin county illinois just signed on with other sheriffs not to inforce the gun ban.but holding true to his way of life chicagos cook county sheriff tom dart is pushing even more gun control measures god i hate illinois cant wait to leave.oath keeper in chicago

This site is dedicated to the memory of John William Adams (1925-2006), Marine and Oath Keeper extraordinaire.

John Adams, at the age of 16, lied about his age to join the Marines so he could fight against Imperial Japan in the Pacific. His enlistment date was December 10, 1941, just three days after the attack on Pearl Harbor (see below). As a Marine rifleman, he fought the Japanese from island to island, across the pacific, including at Iwo Jima. We may have good men, but we never had better.

Until his death in 2006, he was a dedicated patriot who still took his oath to defend the Republic deadly serious. May God grant you the courage to do likewise.

Stewart previously wrote the monthly Enemy at the Gates column for S.W.A.T. Magazine

Stewart graduated from Yale Law School in 2004, where his paper “Solving the Puzzle of Enemy Combatant Status” won Yale’s Miller prize for best paper on the Bill of Rights. He assisted teaching U.S. military history at Yale, was a Yale Research Scholar, and is writing a book on the dangers of applying the laws of war to the American people.
