The Ban List: AR-15, AK-47, AR-10, Saiga 12, Etc.

When rumors emerged about coming assault ban legislation just one day after the re-election of Barack Obama, many scoffed at the notion that the reports were real. As we now know, they were very real, and today the Assault Weapons Ban of 2013, aimed at disarming Americans, has been introduced in Congress.

The list is a veritable who’s who of premier semi-automatic assault rifles that are owned by millions of Americans and include 2nd Amendment staples like the popular AR-15 and AK-47.

In addition to the some 150 semi-automatic rifles, handguns and shotguns on the list, the bill aims to reduce magazine capacities nationwide to 10 rounds or less.

While the new legislation would not force Americans to turn in guns they own that are on the ban list, it would require registration in a national database, which includes a background check even if you already own the gun.

Owners of banned firearms would also need to submit photo identification and a fingerprint for the national registry.

Here is the ban list as it stands now:

Austrian Economics is Color Blind Says:

We need more than 10 rounds in order to kill representatives who violate their oath of office:

    Federalist paper 28:

If the representatives of the people betray their constituents, there is then no resource left but in the exertion of that original right of self-defense which is paramount to all positive forms of government, and which against the usurpations of the national rulers, may be exerted with infinitely better prospect of success than against those of the rulers of an individual state. In a single state, if the persons intrusted with supreme power become usurpers, the different parcels, subdivisions, or districts of which it consists, having no distinct government in each, can take no regular measures for defense. The citizens must rush tumultuously to arms, without concert, without system, without resource; except in their courage and despair. The usurpers, clothed with the forms of legal authority, can too often crush the opposition in embryo. The smaller the extent of the territory, the more difficult will it be for the people to form a regular or systematic plan of opposition, and the more easy will it be to defeat their early efforts. Intelligence can be more speedily obtained of their preparations and movements, and the military force in the possession of the usurpers can be more rapidly directed against the part where the opposition has begun. In this situation there must be a peculiar coincidence of circumstances to insure success to the popular resistance.

    Federalist paper 46

Besides the advantage of being armed, which the Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation, the existence of subordinate governments, to which the people are attached, and by which the militia officers are appointed, forms a barrier against the enterprises of ambition, more insurmountable than any which a simple government of any form can admit of. Notwithstanding the military establishments in the several kingdoms of Europe, which are carried as far as the public resources will bear, the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms. And it is not certain, that with this aid alone they would not be able to shake off their yokes. But were the people to possess the additional advantages of local governments chosen by themselves, who could collect the national will and direct the national force, and of officers appointed out of the militia, by these governments, and attached both to them and to the militia, it may be affirmed with the greatest assurance, that the throne of every tyranny in Europe would be speedily overturned in spite of the legions which surround it.

    Cal Says:

She committed a criminal and civil offense when she broke her REQUIRED oath of office, not just a political one.

How about we make an example of her by arresting and prosecuting her? That alone would make many … “wet their pants”. She feels she is untouchable.

I believe she has also committed treason under our laws, so that should also be filed against her if others (who are probably sick of my posting them up) agree?

There are many precedents for the Oath breaking crimes, including those who have been prosecuted for following unlawful orders.

it saddens me deeply that the country i love has a government made up of parasites that clearly have no love of freedom. im 49 years of age, and i still remember what i was taught about how our representatives were 2 be made up of we the people, not american aristocracy, but ordinary people, you know, “butchers, bakers, candlestick makers” they were not meant to be career politicians, it was to be a public service, for no more than 2 terms of whatever office they held, once that term ended, they were to return to whatever life they had before their service, in all my years not once did i witness our government function in that way. our government was to serve the people, protect our freedoms, defend our nation our people, on 9-11 our government failed one of its main purposes, “defending our nation” and what did our so called representatives do? they expanded their power and shredded our rights even more. i could go on & on, there is no end to the abuses committed by those who have been elected 2 represent us.

I have been saddened to have not even been back from deployment a year yet and I find after defending this country overseas so that the harm would not come to our shore, our very own legislature is destabilizing our very constitution ! I have never taken my oath as a joke or a diminished idea but something I live by and keep the standard for.
I will never let my desire to protect our sacred constitution nor stop voicing the need to get God back in all our lives.
    Ok off my soapbox.

    The Feinstein Manifesto.
Odd.., she has a CCW permit and carried a handgun.
Hmmm…. Was her husband Blum, a gun trafficker or something? “International Salesman”, or something sanitized like that?
