We will never disarm. We will never surrender our military pattern, semi-automatic rifles and the full capacity magazines, parts, and ammunition that go with them. The fundamental purpose of the Second Amendment is to preserve the military power of We the People so we will have effective means to resist tyranny. Regardless of what unholy, unconstitutional filth issues from the mouths of oath breakers in “Mordor on the Potomac” our answer is MOLON LABE.

In the coming days, we will be adding specific pledges for peace officers, active duty military, veterans, and patriots/gun owners. Until those are ready, this is our general Oath Keepers pledge, on behalf of the entire membership of Oath Keepers. When the more particular pledges are done, we will invite you to sign onto the pledge that fits you best. If you sign onto this general one, you may also still sign onto the particular pledges when they are ready. That is your choice, and there is benefit to both courses of action.
It is necessary for there to be a visible tip of the “patriot iceberg,” so the domestic enemies know we are serious – to know that we are everywhere, both in the ranks of the current serving and among the population. It is also good to have a large mass under the surface that is harder to quantify and harder to track. That keeps the bad guys awake at night, wondering how big that unseen mass really is, and where it is. It causes strategic uncertainty in their furtive little minds – and that is good.
Whether you choose to be part of that visible tip who sign their full name to the pledges, or part of the relatively anonymous mass under the surface (keep in mind that true privacy is extremely difficult online), it is critical for you to send a message that you are here, you are not afraid, and you will resist. And the most important audience for that message is the American people, so they will know that there are still men and women of honor who will stand tall and meet the test. It also helps each of us to know that we are not alone in this fight. There will be a defender of the Constitution to your right, and to your left, and you should not despair.
Together, we can save what is left of the Republic if we all STAND NOW (or at least assure that it will not fall without a real fight), so let us let go of fear, and step up, shoulder-to-shoulder with all those who are willing to defend our homes and the Bill of Rights, which are worth fighting for, as Marine General Smedley Butler, the warrior’s warrior, urged us. History is watching. Our children are watching.

I am in Houston, now I see I need to move because now it is all guns. Crime is horrible. over 4000 sex perps registered. I live in a condo up stairs and twice in 6 years someone heavy man I heard walk to my door at about 10pm at night and rush my door knob then walk away. Thank God I lock my doors all day long. 75% crime against women are in apartments. 4-5 a day a raped anytime of the day. There are a lot of freed prisoners from Katrina not here. Car jackings at redlights they threw an asian girl from her car 2 yrs ago, she died, it was moving. I wrote Sheriff two weeks ago and now I have my answer. Now my post above comes true for me.

Houston is indeed notorious for being a high-crime area. Not surprising though, as it is a major city full of government dependents who vote Democrat (although that’s not nearly as bad as Austin), and is in relatively close proximity to Mexico. Recipe for crime. Thank God for both cities we’ve got state preemption of local gun laws, or else both of them would be as deadly as New York and Chicago.

I talk to many ex military and LEO’S and not many of them have even heard of Oath Keepers so i inform them about this site and what it is meant to achieve. I just wish there was enough money to ADVERTISE ON TV AND ALL RADIO STATIONS so we can get the word out. We need more of our finest hero’s to climb on board this FREEDOM TRAIN.

The President can no more change our 2nd Amendment rights than Donald Duck. Executive orders which limit any constitutional rights of the American people should be disobeyed as unlawful and unconstitional orders.

I don’t relish the thought at all. But I refuse to just let those treasonous and oath breaking (criminal offense) take over my nation, my government like what happend in Germany.

After 40+yrs of gun ownership, since I was 12. Not one of my guns have EVER harmed someone or been fired in anger..I bought all of my guns according to the laws of the land. If they were to, with a stroke of the pen, consider ME now a criminal..Then I will be a criminal, ONLY in their minds. ANY unconstitutional law will NOT be followed by me. My Mini 14,I’m sure will be on their list..Well I say Molon labe!

The liberal mainstream media, that’s nothing more than a mouth piece for our tyrannical governments propaganda, is our biggest threat. They have a near total blackout on certain issues, or details that hurt their cause. They intentionally mislead the public, and spread disinformation. They also reach more people than all other media by far, and it’s not like alternative media is 100% behind the truth. It’s far from that.
We need a solution to the MSM, that seems intent on pushing us into a corner, while smearing us for our admiration of our founding fathers, and what’s now our blatantly disregarded Constitution. Everyone who can see the obviously dire situation we are in now, need to make a truce on any other disagreements to work together saving our nation now, so we can hopefully make it far enough to make those other disareements more important than they are when we’re literally being destroyed in quick fashion like now.

As many have repeatedly stated all over the Oath Keepers website, it is of great importance to start thinking up more advanced/creative fund raising methods. Many of us could probably give a little more, and get some others to make minimal donations as a start. We can’t have the mindset that small donations are worthless when they aren’t. If you can only afford a small donation then make it, and don’t underestimate it’s value. Those small donations add up.
There are also significant outreach and fund raising tactics we can all use to make a big difference. We can get the Oath Keepers mentioned on radio programs by calling shows and mentioning the Oath Keepers while giving a relevant and intelligent thought(instead of sounding like you’re just spamming). Send information to the many in radio and internet who share the fundemental views of Oath Keepers. Send information to idviduals who you see as being possible big donors, or who have a public name that can raise interest by just mentioning the Oath Keepers, and those who have influence and contacts within the groups that Oath Keepers look to recruit, etc. Make sure those who don’t fit the requirments know they can still play a huge role in the Oath Keepers with outreach and fund raising efforts.
There are also some cheaper, but very effective ad campaigns to look at. We need to think outside the box to find some more novel ideas. There are plenty of intelligent people involved who can come up with plans to use on their own, or suggestions to pass on to those running Oath Keepers. The Oath Keepers message is popular and mainstream; it just needs to reach more people in a quicker mannner. The message will sell it’s self.
Anyone who reads this should start their renewed efforts to advance the Oath Keepers by making another donation as large as they feel comfortable making. No matter if it’s $5 or $500+ I just made a donation, and have been working on a new strategy to hopefully increase my results.
