Oath Keepers is an educational organization with outreach to Veterans, current-serving soldiers and peace officers and firefighters. Oath Keepers is focused on the Oath required by this nation’s founding legal charter, the U.S. Constitution, to which all peace officers, military, and firefighters swear [or affirm] their sacred Oath. Part of our educational outreach involves promoting on the Internet the consciousness which enhances every cop’s and soldier’s and firefighter’s understanding of the true meaning carried in that Oath.
I am proud to announce a bold addition to the Oath Keepers outreach activities. Oath Keepers Founder Stewart Rhodes will be featured in a new movie slated to be released in coming months. With him also will appear Oath Keepers Board of Directors member Sheriff Richard Mack. I have mentioned the trailer to a few people, but as soon as they hear the name “Molon Labe”, they almost always say something along the lines of “You know I don’t watch those foreign films”.
They are not stupid, per se, but the name alone will stop many from seeing it. Maybe add
“Come and Take Them” beneath the title along with what is already there? So that those who do not bother to research or were taught – and I am assuming those are who you want to reach – do not make the big mistake of not watching it.
Remember who you are trying to reach. I did make them watch the trailer so that they saw it is about America.
Just an FYI.

Cal, you raise valid observations, and I have seen these points discussed already by people involved in the movie. There are strong arguments for and also against the use of the words “Molon Labe”, and James Jaeger is listening to all sides of the discourse. Thank you very much for putting into words your personal take on this. (And also, thank you for other comments you’ve made here at Oath Keepers’ site.)
I am open for any and all suggestions or comments regarding anticipated reception, or lack thereof, of the current title for this film. I’m sure that the producers would like to hear from our readers on this. Thanks Bro!

Hello;
I have already donated to this great film, as well as sent a link to many of the Veterans and others that I know. My concern is this: There is an ever-growing and speedy movement to free this country, which is GREAT!!! But, if it takes too long to complete the movie, the funds may not be forthcoming.
Please get this project done !!!!

Jesse Ventura is not the type of person I would brag about joining Oath Keepers. Read Chris Kyle’s book called “American Sniper” who describes an incident where Jesse had made some derogatory comments to Chris and other active Navy Seals regarding some team members that were killed in action.
I also do not believe in Ron Paul and others that do not want a strong military and our fight against terrorists that want to destroy America. We must also consider the rise in military spending by Russia and China that are beginning to flex their military muscle around the world. Now is not the time for America to become isolationists in a world that is becoming a very dangerous place.

Jim, nobody said Jesse Ventura is a member in Oath Keepers. I personally would be glad if he joined, but at present time, he is not a member. Where did you get that notion? Jesse is simply in a movie with a lot of other people, and the movie is very important to America right now.
Regarding Ron Paul and your mistaken notion that he would weaken the military, all I can say is that you’ve been misled on that also. As for fighting the terrorists, Ron Paul would eliminate them by stopping our sixty-years-old foreign policy which creates the terrorists.
Finally, Ron Paul’s foreign policy is not, I repeat, “NOT”, a policy of isolationism. Ron Paul has always advocated a strong policy of trade with all peaceful nations around the world. Instead of taking control of many nations’ resources militarily, Ron Paul’s policy would simply be to buy the oil or whatever other commodity we want from them, pay them for it and sell them our exports at the same time. That is not “isolationism”, that is being profitably involved in an honorable way and a morally correct way. Actual “isolationism” is just what we’re presently doing, sending in our military to keep the corporate trade lanes open around the world for the damned idiots on Wall Street and their go-to boys in the U.S. Federal government.
The military-industrial complex is responsible for the twisted publicity which has many Americans thinking Ron Paul is an isolationist. Wall Street needs the damned wars to keep its bubble afloat, and they demonize anyone who challenges present foreign policy. Just remember – at the end of WWII, we Americans were the darlings around the world. Everyone loved us. We were welcome everywhere, for we had saved the world from the Hitlerian nightmare.
How did that change in just a few decades? Answer: We immediately (1947) created the CIA and sent them abroad, with their first major accomplishment being to sponsor terrorism in Iran, take down the duly elected administration of Mossedegh (who was friendly to U.S. interests), and install a U.S. puppet, the Shah. We did that for British Petroleum (BP). CIA has never left the middle east, and has literally created the terrorism, generated the hatred which now threatens us, and has destroyed the world’s faith in our goodness as Americans.
Did you know that the manual for Jihad was written at Ft. Bragg to be used to train the Mujahideen in Afghanistan? And did you know what one of the geniuses who helped write that manual for Jihad was Ali Mohamed? Did you know what Zbigniew Brzezinski told Jimmy Carter when Carter wanted to lure Russia into Afghanistan back in 1979? Our screwed-up foreign policy literally created al Qaeda. We are being played for suckers by Wall Street and Washington D.C. It is one long stretch of botched foreign policy, from the Gary Frances Powers shootdown over Russia, the Bay of Pigs fiasco, Viet Nam, to Watergate and the scandal of BCCI. I have a long list of CIA atrocities around the world since 1947, but it’s too long to post here. Just know that the same policy coming out of the Justice Department under Eric Holder, the policy to run the drugs into this country for the drug cartels (by the DEA) and help the cartels launder the money profits, and sell a couple thousand rifles to the same drug cartels (by the ATF) – that same kind of thinking is what has dominated U.S. foreign policy since CIA’s creation. Planners have created the problems so that the government can introduce its own solutions, which government believes will justify its expansion for full control over your and my lives. Time to wake up, Bro.
I would invite you to read history – dig deep – and you’ll see that I’m speaking the truth. You have been misled by cunning Madison Avenue cronies who promote the defense contracting multi-nationals who are working through the Federal Reserve to influence and affect U.S. policy both foreign and domestic. Elias, very well stated! My husband and I met Jessie at Ron Paul’s Rally for the Republic in Minniapolis. We got there early and they asked us if we wanted to help and of course we said yes. We got to go in back (where all the speakers were located) and were to keep reporters and or others from going down the hall to talk to them. After his speech Jessie met with reporters and others in the back where we were. I wanted to get close to see him and he said he was a veteran and I said so am I. I think that surprised him.

At least Jesse Ventura stands for the US Constitution, our LEGITIMATE government, and not for giving the USA to the UN as Obama says he has. Plus as it stands now our US Military is under UN authority via Obama, Panettta, Gen Dempsey. I am not sure if Jesse said those things or not – in every unit there are people who do not like each other – be it in the military or out of it. That is human nature.
If you are not sure what that means – the word is TREASON.
Ron Paul has never said he is for a ‘weak” military. He said if we are sending OUR US military to a foreign country then it will be a legally DECLARED war. We will fight it and then get out. Ron Paul has stood up for the US Constitution his whole political career and that is verifiable. If you actually check on his record you will probably be amazed to realize he is actually a “statesman” NOT a politician – politician: synonymous with lying, scumsucking treasonous (etc) politicians we have today – in or out of office. He did not lose the GOP presidential candidacy – Romney was put there by ELECTION FRAUD (well documented).
That means that someone other then “We the people” want either Obama or Romney in the Office of the US President and to them it matters little which one as they both are corrupt and bought and paid for. Both actually stand for pretty much the same type of government and it is not a Constitutional Republic with free citizens enjoying their natural rights. (Look up Agenda 21 thanks to the UN. You can start with Alabama Senate Bill (SB) 477 legislation, known as the “Due Process for Property Rights” Act – both support it).
If you did not realize it, the ‘wars’ our military are currently involved in are for UN, corporate, and banking interests and has NOTHING to do with defense of the USA except to use our military, let us pay for it and our fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, and friends get injured or die for them

I want people to understand why Jessie’s TSA lawsuit went nowhere. The court had no jurisdiction, the judge is correct. The court had no jurisdiction because there were no injuries. Jessie allowed the searches. He may not have liked them, but he can show no injuries. In order for a court to hear a case, there must be a case. The plaintiff (Jessie) had no demonstrable injury for the court to apply a remedy. If he had refused a search, and then they arrested him or didn’t allow him to fly, then he would have had a case. People need to know this is a two way street. Government entities need to show a demonstrable injury in order to take you to court. Most times they cannot, but they will pretend not to notice. It is you as a defendant, that must bring this fact up when taken to court by a government entity.
