In the upcoming movie by James Jaeger, “Molon Labe: How The Second Amendment Guarantees America’s Freedom”, the script deals strongly with the “Gun Control Lobby”, which is a handle covering various philosophical ideas embraced by progressive statists who seek to empower the United Nations to once-and-for-all-time strip away any American’s Second Amendment right to participate in his Constitutional militia and to keep and bear arms.
The basic conflict, philosophically and politically, consists in two opposing views about guns in general. The progressive statist holds to the utopian fantasy of a society in which there are no guns, and the conclusion which that view projects is that there will thereby be no deaths by gun.
The opposing view is held by Constitutionalists and Libertarians and Freedom lovers in general, and their view states that every American’s right to defend his person and his property against criminal encroachment is guaranteed in black and white writing in the original legal charter which created the highest authority of government in America, that being the Constitution for the united States of America. (The Second Amendment)
Their argument is not based on fantasy, but on fact, as gun ownership protects each year in America many thousands of innocent women, home owners, retail store owners or clerks. We have all heard accounts of cashiers who thwarted robberies, or women who protected themselves against rapists or robbers, and home owners who protected their homes and families against armed intruders – with guns.
The progressive news media in general, hawking the sanctioned view of the progressive statists who would like to disarm the American people despite their lawfully protected right to keep and bear the means of self-defense, invariably follows up any and every gun-related crime by emotional appeals to just get rid of those nasty guns which so many Americans own. The problem such a view usually fails to mention to a gullible and emotionally-charged general public is that the police cannot be on the scene when a crime against a person or business or home is in progress, and without the means to protect oneself and one’s property the victim in countless crimes has no protection from the police or Sheriff’s deputies – who generally are called to a crime scene once the crime has already been committed.
Oath Keepers sides, every time, with the Constitution as written, for it is the source of all legitimate government in this union to which all States are party. Our view is further substantiated powerfully when we observe that the U.S. Department of Justice under Eric Holder itself has taken the license (unlawfully) to actually send American guns to the Drug Cartels of Mexico to incite yet more gun violence on the U.S. / Mexican border. With a berserk Department of Justice, no American should expect that the government would or could protect society in the absence of private gun ownership.
I mention the above to introduce a remarkable off-the-cuff defense of private gun ownership by former Governor of Minnesota, Jesse Ventura, who shines nicely in the following brief encounter with a statist new world order cry-baby on YouTube:

What doesn’t seem to be mentioned in the article above, is that the founding fathers were just as concerned about Americans being able to protect themselves from an out-of-control government which might try to take away the liberties they had just fought so hard to win.

Greetings, Mr. Jesse “The Governor” Ventura;
I must admit, after having watched you wrestle and listened to you color commentary for YEARS, I was a tad…how shall I put this? “Bewildered” by your run for office. You made it crystal clear, however, even during your campaign, that the people made NO mistake in electing you.
As a very new member, I am pleased to see you here. I look forward to more contribtions from you. I also hold with Mr. Boyd on his very salient point. The point that nearly ALL of the rank-and-file anti-gunners,(the leaders of the movement know it full well!), is that the Second Amendment was every bit as much written to protect us FROM our government as it was to DEFEND our government.
Again, nice to see you here. (even though you were NAVY…Joke! Joke!)

Right,where is our military and law enforcement???? This imposter should never have been elected to any office…Is the military just going to stand in the background and watch the country crumble under this kenyan bought and paid for by the Saudis?? Good Video, One thing you left out, I saw the entire Video on youtube and Jesse Mention world trade Center 7 and how it came down in a controlled Demolition like fashion in 7 seconds you cut the clip out, he also mentioned operation Northwoods, where the Government had plans to Blow American
Airliners and blame it on Cuba during the missle crises to blame it on cuba to provoke war with Cuba. I saw the BBC youtube Video where a reporter was talking on the morning of 911 and she said World Trade Center 7 had come down and for a Half hour it was still standing and then Larry Silverstein in a PBS Documantary he orered them to pull building 7.Why didn’t you show that portion of the Video.

I HAVE HAD A THEORY/FEELING FOR 20+ YEARS NOW.
MOST OF THESE RANDOM SHOOTERS HAVE NOT BEEN “AS YOU WOULD CALL THEM” GUN NUTS.
SOME YES BUT MOSTLY ‘NO’
MY STATEMENT IS A QUESTION, HOW DO THE THINKERS FEEL ABOUT A “MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE” SITUATION.
I WON’T MENTION ANY NAMES BUT I FEEL THAT THE INITIALS OF THE PERSONS RESPONSIBLE ARE THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION.
