Brandon Raub FREE: Judge orders Chesterfield Marine’s release from psychiatric facility

By Jessica Jaglois

A Chesterfield Marine will be released from a mental health facility after a judge ruled there wasn’t sufficient evidence of allegations made against him.

Brandon Raub was committed to a mental health facility for 30 days after a series of events, including questions about his Facebook page.  Now, the Rutherford Institute has taken up his cause.

In court Thursday, the judge said that the petition filed by Chesterfield Police was blank and didn’t list a single allegation against him. The judge said Raub suffered a “deprivation of his liberty” by being held without a clear claim.

Raub’s case went viral when a YouTube video of his arrest began circulating over the weekend. Supporters argued he should never have been taken in handcuffs and said he never belonged in a mental health facility.

Of concern, were some posts on his Facebook page, like one on August 13 saying “Sharpen up my axe; I’m here to sever heads.”

His legal team says that August 13 post isn’t what it seemed. [it was lyrics from a song - Oath Keepers].

I am so happy for him and all of US who are standing up for the TRUTH!
I did donate to the Rutherford Institute, yesterday.
Thank you, OathKeepers, for letting US know about this Org and their legal team!

AND..I am grateful there are civilian judges out there that stand up for Our Constitution.
(After hearing YouTube, ‘Kay Griggs Interviews’, I’ve been leary of JAGS inside our civilian courts and worried they might have been involved taking Brandon hostage.)

I agree with Laura. Everyone involved with his blatantly unlawful
arrest should be prosecuted “to the fullest extent of the law”.
You lawyers out there know the law and can identify the exact
Statutes that were broken. No “ignorance of the law” or “I was
Just following orders” defenses would apply. This applies to the
Police officers, FBI agents, Judges, and any other court personnell
who went along to get along. A public trial for each one will decide
their guilt. Enough is enough ! I am sick and tired of this long train
of abuses that have been occurring all to frequently of late.
