Military Rolls Tanks Onto St. Louis Streets…But Why?
I have to say that this event, which is being labeled a “training exercise”, makes very little sense to me. U.S. Army troops all the way from Maryland running open exercises in armored personnel carriers on the busy streets of St. Louis? I know Maryland is a small state, but is there really not enough room at Ft. Detrick to accommodate a tank column and some troops? Are there not entire fake neighborhood and town complexes built with taxpayer dollars on military bases across the country meant to facilitate a realistic urban environment for troops to train in? And why travel hundreds of miles to Missouri? At the very least, this is a massive waste of funds.
On the other hand, such an action on the part of the Department of Defense makes perfect sense if the goal is to acclimate citizens to the idea of seeing tanks and armed military acting in a policing capacity. Just check out the two random idiots the local news affiliate picked to interview in St. Louis on the subject. Both state that they think the exercise is a “great idea”, because having the military on the streets would help to “reduce crime”:
I suspect that the news affiliate did not go out of its way to get any counter-opinions, even though they admitted to being contacted by those voicing concerns over martial law.
Even so, it’s sad and simultaneously terrifying that there are plenty of mindless dupes out there who do not understand the dangers of the Army crossing the Rubicon and acting in a civil law enforcement capacity, never mind that they are completely ignorant of the fact that it violates the Posse Comitatus Act. One of the interviewees points out that in some countries they don’t use police at all; only military. This is true. We call those countries “tyrannies”…
Add to the mix the reality that the DOD refuses to respond to any further inquiries by the press concerning details of the training, and you get yet another suspicious instance of behavior on the part of the establishment that seems preparatory for domestic action. I believe that the high frequency at which these activity reports have been coming in over the past year is certainly cause for alarm…

Brandon, I agree with you – this is an exercise in conditioning both troops and citizens to the presence of military in U.S. cities. It is also to reinforce in the public mind the government lies about their so-called “war on terror” and their desire to conduct “OOTW” (Operations Other Than War). That is it. Period.

Fiest off, APC’s, (armored personel carriers) (Bradleys, strykers (sp) or M-113’s) are not, by defination, tanks. The photo above, is not any type of armord track vehicle, it’s a hunvee.
How many of you out there reading this are actually intimidated by the sight of HUMVEE’S?
And if the facts be known, you wouldn’t be so intimidated by the sight of a formation of Bradleys or M-1’s, if you were knowledgibly about thier vunurabillities. Just remember this my fellow revolutionaries, if you seperate infantry from the armor, or cut em off from their fuel, their weaknessess become appearent very quickly. And then ofcourse, try to be gentle because after we capture them, then we’ll use em. So, essentially, don’t go heads up with em, get the fuel supply.

Again, you are all too quick to buy into the fear mongering of Alex Jones. People need to open their eyes and do their due diligence rather than merely repeat what they hear from some third source.
Look at the APC units carefully. They don’t have any automatic firing weapons, they are not tanks and the troops aren’t carrying anything. Not even AK’s. They should be, had this been a hostile exercise to initiate Martial Law.
Oath Keepers should be well aware by now, that there are some roundups of Cabal members going on. Martial Law scenarios would not reflect having APC carriers go down a street, but arrests of Cabal members could reflect this very fact. That may also explain to some of you, should you do your research, of why the citizens are not alarmed in any way.

The military personnel let them know in advance, that they were going in here to conduct an exercise and do some arrests. In fact Fox News reported this very thing, that the military was there to clean up some crime and do some arrests. Why would they go in without shotguns/auto-firing weapons, clearly armed only with normal weapons, riding around in APC’s into an area thousands of miles away from their camp?
The only explanation can be either they are incredibly bored, or they are arresting some people. Have some actual faith in your military for once that they are simply going to flat remove the criminals out of this country. They would be prepared for war with Americans if they were there to conduct Martial Law. But clearly Stewart, they do not have the required utilities with them …so another reason seems to be the only conclusion.

I,myself,do not see the logic in certain people labeling citizens/groups,who speak up against the downward spiral that this nation has been put into,as being “anti-government”.There are still some good,constitutional people left in U.S. government,but they seem to be dwindling in numbers.What these provacative labelists do not seem to realize,is that it is about anti-CORRUPTION in government–not government itself.Any nation needs a government,on some level,to function.The representatives within that government should focus on integrity,liberty,and what’s best for the people they represent–not personal agendas,favors to other nations,or making an extra dollar at the expense of the citizens.The Constitution and Bill of Rights make up life blood of the United States of America.Any threat to those two things should alarm ANY citizen of this country.And the ones that aren’t alarmed..maybe they should take up residence somewhere else.

ClearlyUninformed, you’ve taken an appropriate screen-name, that’s for sure. My goodness, Mon! Brandon Smith has clearly pointed out in his article the icy danger in allowing our military to train in U.S. cities and towns, on American streets, on our soil. The presence of the military in any visage whatsoever is an ominous foreboding and a certain warning shot across the bow of our Constitution, our Declaration, and our Bill of Rights. Please give yourself pause to reflect upon the fact that tyranny, to be accepted by the public, must use small incremental steps in establishing a military-police state. And do ask yourself how it might possibly be lawful for the U.S. military to be arresting American citizens. That is absurd on its face, and is, as Brandon pointed out, a blatant violation of Posse Comitatus, as well as being an abuse of our military. Consider wisely – the U.S. military has already announced, last year, that DoD is training troops for crowd control in the event that the Federal Reserve System implodes and trashes our financial system and our economy, throwing this nation into social/civil turmoil at a level never before seen in America. The military is planning to squelch any opposition from the people themselves by establishing a military-police state control grid – hence NSA’s incessant spying on all of our communications, and hence DHS’order for more than thirty thousand drones in American skies, over your and my back yards and everyone else’s. Also, hence the Fusion Centers which interface military and police into one massive control grid which disperses Federal power down to your local cop on the beat and your County Sheriff’s Department. And what should we make of the fact that the U.S. government has now, with passage of the NDAA-2012, placed every American citizen under military jurisdiction? I think you’d better go read the series in the below link once or twice again, to get yourself up to speed on what’s happening to our country, Bro.

Go ahead – read that whole page, and note that at the top of that page are the links to the other four parts of that series of articles. But at least read the whole article at that link above – and then you can have a better chance, a receptive perspective, for understanding *why* the military now wants to condition the American public to accept soldiers acting in the role of police on American streets. Be not deceived, Friend. Do you want the government to tell your family where they will live, where they will work? Do you want curfews, rations, and United Nations soup lines, with “Your papers please” shouted at you every time you go to town, to the mall, to a football game, to church? Do you want a police state, really, where government dictates every thing you do?
As for me, I prefer the old fashioned America that I witnessed as a boy growing up, an America where there was personal freedom, personal dignity, personal responsibility, personal honor, personal sovereignty. That is the Founders’ vision, the purpose behind creation of this Federal Union – to protect those things for all Americans. All of that is now under direct threat by the United Nations, its “Agenda 21″ programs, and its intent to destroy our Constitution, strip us of our guns, and fold this once-great nation into the damned-by-God “new world order”. Doubt it not.
I repeat – read that whole article linked above in this comment, and after reading it, then read the other four parts of that series, and try to understand that many will be deceived by the power-elite who are now running our Federal government for the international bankers and financiers. Time to wake up.
