Got Smoke. Need Hope.

Name: Jake Trahearn
Testimonial: At present, I am homeless veteran, staring 60 in the eyes. My present status began not long after I spoke out at the city commission & State Capitol against the patriot act. I have also been detained by DHS – no charge, no rights read, don’t know who charged me – for trying to square up school loans.
My word is the only thing of value I’ve kept in good & bad times.
Contrary to the Book of Matthew, chap.5 v.33-37, I’ve made only one oath in my life to my Creator. And as one Lt. said to me “Nobody was holding a gun to your head when you took the Oath.” That’s all there is and there ain’t no more.
My rights & my word are synonomous with my blood.
So, is this just smoke? Got smoke – need hope.

I hope things are working out a little better for you Jake. I am sorry to hear you are hitting hard times. Where are you at? Also, since you Matthew and the Creator, at this point I can only give you your hope lies in Him. Comment back and let me know what your up to!

God Bless you Jake.
Just today I was telling my 16 year old son the importance of his word and integrity and how this is his true wealth. Your comments are so valuable and will be shown to him.
Thank you for your brave service, I hope things are going better for you at this time.

A MAN WITHOUT INTREGITY NOT MUCH OF A MAN. HUMBLENESS IN CHRIST LEADS TO HONESTRY THEN TO TRUST, THEN TO INTREGITY. HIS INTREGITY GIVES JOY AS AN OVER COMER. THEN JOY LEADS TO BOLDNESS AND BOLDNESS LEADS TO HOLY LIVING WHICH LEADS TO ETERNAL LIFE WITH OUR FATHER THRU JESUS CHRIST. IT IS ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS. GOD BLESS EACH ONE.
