Hey Syd,
Some Patriot calling himself GB sent in a tremendous collection of WWII photos from over at The Atlantic. It’s a 20-part series with 900 photos. I’ve gone over the section on the Pacific campaign and can tell you the quality of these AP/DoD pics makes them collectible. I’d like to share it with you here:

With a salute to my WWII Vet Dad too,
Salute!

My Dad also flew B-24’s, A-20’s, P-40’s,P-38’s in the 5th & 13 USAAC in 1942-43.
Would like to join you younger men, will you take a former government GS-4? I believe
we also had to take the oath of Allegiance upon taking a Federal position.
Well as the ballad of Paladin says: Have Gun Will Travel. I think April 19th would be
a good day to visit DC with our arms and ammo. I think if memory serves that was the date
of the battles at Lexington and Concord.
