Active Duty Soldier Stands With We The People

Testimonial: I am a vet of Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, & Operation Enduring Freedom. I have served for a total of 14 years. I have been deployed more times than I can count. I have followed the orders of the President & the officers appointed over me. I am currently still serving. I have talked to quite a few Soldiers, & if they are given the choice of following the Government, or fighting for the people they would chose the people of the United States. I believe most of us (Soldiers) take our Oath to heart. I would think that if nothing else that other soldiers would understand that any order given to them against U.S. Citizens would include anyone that they themselves love &/or care for.

If &/or when the Government turns on its people it would include every one. Our brother, sisters, Mothers, Fathers, cousins, EVERY ONE! We (soldiers, veterans, police, etc) need to stand side by side against any one that threatens our constitution & our way of life. I for one am proud to be an American. I love every value this country stands for, & I will die defending it. Whether I am a member of Oath Keepers or not, I will stand between the American people & any enemies, foreign and domestic!!

We are proud to have you counted among us, and as you said, it matters not whether you are a member of this org or not. What matters is your commitment to keep your oath, and that you will stand in defense of the American people when the chips are down. With all of the anti-constitutional, treasonous “long train of abuses” now coming from the traitor in political office, who have a clear intent to destroy our Bill of Rights, the time is truly near at hand which will determine whether the American people – and our children – will be free or slaves. We will stand and defend against the oath breakers, and we will NOT let the torch of liberty be snuffed out by traitors and fools.

Hooah brother! We are proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with you and your brothers in arms.

You have relieved a lot of people with your statement, I for one am grateful for your pledge and the pledges of those soldiers that stand with you. You are absolutely right that any order such as that would affect EVERYBODY, not just the so-called bad guys. I pray that this will become the trend for ALL who have taken the oath. Thanks again for setting our minds at ease.

Just wanted to say thanks to our men and women fighting for our freedoms. When congress signed over the authority for the president to enact the NDAA indefinite detention against the US Citizens I have been wondering where the enlisted men and women serving our country would react about this treason. I pray the will not turn against the oath they took or forsake the constitution, the US citizens or the bill of rights. obama has oversteppet the position and is committing treason. He needs to be removed.

This government has been compromised and corrupted by the NWO oligarchs and the warmongering industrial military complex murderers. The OathKeepers has eased my fear that the people were standing alone against these corrupt and lawless members of the government that we elected entrusted our support that they would represent the US, Constitution, and the American People.
Clearly we are being betrayed by the very people that we put in office. This government needs to be overthrown and the responsible criminals held accountable for the crimes against the americans and humanity.

Thank you for restoring my faith that our active duty members will stand tall in the face of tyranny. I truly believe that our unconstitutional gov’t members are under estimating the resolve of the good men and women of our LEO,Vets and current standing military. Thank you for your service. I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

Site Dedication

This site is dedicated to the memory of John William Adams (1925-2006), Marine and Oath Keeper extraordinaire.

John Adams, at the age of 16, lied about his age to join the Marines so he could fight against Imperial Japan in the Pacific. His enlistment date was December 10, 1941, just three days after the attack on Pearl Harbor (see below). As a Marine rifleman, he fought the Japanese from island to island, across the pacific, including at Iwo Jima. We may have good men, but we never had better.

Until his death in 2006, he was a dedicated patriot who still took his oath to defend the Republic deadly serious. May God grant you the courage to do likewise.

Founder Stewart Rhodes

He is a former firearms instructor and former member of Rep. Ron Paul’s DC staff.

Stewart previously wrote the monthly Enemy at the Gates column for S.W.A.T. Magazine

Stewart graduated from Yale Law School in 2004, where his paper “Solving the Puzzle of Enemy Combatant Status” won Yale’s Miller prize for best paper on the Bill of Rights. He assisted teaching U.S. military history at Yale, was a Yale Research Scholar, and is writing a book on the dangers of applying the laws of war to the American people.
