Tennessee Conducts Door to Door Preparedness Checks

NOTE:  We spoke with a friendly, patriotic state emergency management officer who stated that it is a state initiated program only, without federal involvement, and it is motivated by the recent natural disasters in Tennessee and the intentions are only to make sure the community is prepared for future natural disasters.

However, in light of the confirmed fact that federal agents demanded the customer lists of a Tennessee Mormon cannery (which was obviously not motivated by a desire to make sure people are well prepared) we are still concerned with how information gathered state conducted during door-to-door preparedness checks may be used in the future by the federal government, as we stated in this article we just posted.

There’s no reason the government needs to know whether people are prepared for disasters. It’s not the role of government to involve itself in economic issues.

If someone were to ask me for my two cents, I’d say the entire week and maybe even the next two would be a good period to be conveniently incognito…drapes drawn…vehicles locked in garage…door dead bolted and no one apparently home. Easy solution….

As many of you already know, the agent should have informed the church they were under no obligation to comply with their request unless the agent had produced a warrant for church records. Any investigator will go to a place of business, flash their credentials and make a demand for co-operation from the business or it’s representative hoping the fear element will force compliance. In some cases it does. In cases where you are up against a more learned opponent, it doesn’t. You lose the element of surprise in that case.

DHS is another rabid animal that we have to contend with because they have liberal federal laws on their side that permit them entry into a citizens home or place of business without following due process. All the DHS or CPS (Child Protective Services-a branch of DHS) needs is a complaint or suspicion that children reside at a location and are being neglected or abused. Recent Federal legislation has given them ability to thumb their noses at the US Constitution, Bill of Rights,Due Process and Miranda. You definitely are guilty untipr ovenen innocent by them, except there is no return to innocence once the DHS/CPS levels accusations, notice I said accusations, against a citizeAgaingian, all they need is an accusation from anyone, even someone inside their own agency, that a child is being abused or neglected, and they have the authority to move in. Of course they ask for assistance from other Federal and State authorities to assist them in their arrest and investigation granting blanket authority to the assisting agency to snoop around for other intelligence they may be searching for.

Please, don’t take my word about this friends. You casn learn more about the DHS/CPS escapades on their own web site, any legislativelative web page detailing their authority, etc.

I am familiar with the DHS/CPS because I had numerous occasions to refuse to assist them in their unlawful attempts to invade citizens homes because the agency failed to produce sufficient PC to convince me there was exigent circumstances involved in their investigation. Were they angry, yes they were. Did my superiors get angry at me, no they didn’t. Why? Because my thirty five year long career in LE as a trained investigator and prior military intelligence gave me the right to evaluate their claims, which I did. Many times I told them they did not have sufficient PC or a case. Their agency (DHS/CPS) claimed they did not need PC, they only needed a complaint.

Avoiding the questioning is probably the best course, as Cyrellys said. No need to force a confrontaion. I see no indication that there is a State law behind what seems to be a supplemental census.

Why not just say you don’t wish to participate and that the questions they are asking are an invasion of privacy.

The fascists are testing the waters in Tennessee because they know that the people of
Tennessee are as sharp as a tennis ball. There are very few people in that state that
    have an IQ above 90.

It would be revealing to find out if lying or evading in any response to the 22 questions is a crime. For example, if these “CASPER” assessors are given some sort of “official” status, deputized, etc. then lying to them technically could be pursued as a crime.

I also wonder if it will be required that the survey respondents sign anything attesting to the truth of their responses.

And, I’m not saying this is the case, but who came up with the name to create the “CASPER” acronym? That kind of “code name” just implicitly reeks of “ghost” (undercover, stealth, black book, etc) agencies and operations. Or, was that the intent? :) Wheels within wheels within wheels?…
