Iraq Vet Clues In

I am a former US Army veteran who has fought in Iraq and have recently awoken, and I see what is really going on with the government.

Over 20 years ago as a young man fresh out of high school I took my oath in Springfield Massachusetts and never felt more proud in my life. Up until that point my life didnt make a lot of sense. I was drifting around after high school and wanted to be something I was proud of. Standing there repeating the oath to my country I knew I belonged to a brotherhood forever.

I took an oath to defend the constitution years ago and was willing to die for my country if needed. I did not take an oath to defend the bankers or the federal government.

People can call me a conspiracy nut but please do not question my patriotism.

I am now fighting to regain this country. I will no longer sit back and watch this country be run into the ground and not follow the Constitution. God bless everyone and America.

“Fighting” seems like too strong a word, one that should be reserved for times when a person actually puts himself in jeopardy and attempts to do physical harm to his opponent.

I think it would be a good idea to get a counter onto this website to show an actual number of people who are ready to defend our Constitution and Bill of Rights. If this counter reached a number in the Millions, then it might change some behavior in Government. If not then we can see just how much trouble we are facing. Numbers don’t lie. I for one will click the counter.

I took the oath and so did all regular military soldiers.”constitution” & “DOMESTIC” are the key words here. We have monumental acts of treason happening right before our eyes and nothing being done about it. I will be here to defend my fellow citizens from any enemy INCLUDING uniformed police and soldiers! Tread lightly soldiers, do not participate in illegal searches or detain civilians. [One sentence deleted by Elias Alias]

I just found Oathkeepers on a blog about how our rights are being slowly taken away. I’ve been frightened, as I am disabled and worry that when/if they come to my house, if I’m home alone, I won’t be able to defend myself. I take everything this administration is doing very seriously, and none of it is Constitutional. I am SO GLAD I found this site! I asked to be a FB Member and also think a counter would be a great idea so we know exactly how many are members and how many will protect us from our greatest enemy – the POTUS and his czars and many in the District of Corruption.
Thank each and every one of you for your service to our great nation! Although I was never in the military, I truly respect and appreciate all you’ve done to promote freedom around the world. I also will be grateful to all of you for protecting us once again. Thank you again for your service and for making me, for one, feel better – that there is SOMEONE that will protect WE THE PEOPLE from the enemy within. Thank you for your service and thank you for your promise! I will sleep better at night knowing that there is a group of TRUE Patriots that are fighting FOR us instead of planning our demise. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR BRINGING PEACE TO AN OTHERWISE FRIGHTENED CITIZEN. THE BILLS THEY ARE PASSING ARE UNCONSTITUTIONAL AND VERY SCARY!! I am so glad to have found this site and this great bunch of Patriots. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!

Well said soldier I for one have been fighting for some years now and will say it is way past time for the SECOND AMERICAN REVOLUTION.
KEEP YOU GUNS CLEAN AND YOUR AMMO DRY we are going to need them very soon!!!

Oath of Enlistment

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

Site Dedication

This site is dedicated to the memory of John William Adams (1925-2006), Marine and Oath Keeper extraordinaire.

John Adams, at the age of 16, lied about his age to join the Marines so he could fight against Imperial Japan in the Pacific. His enlistment date was December 10, 1941, just three days after the attack on Pearl Harbor (see below). As a Marine rifleman, he fought the Japanese from island to island, across the pacific, including at Iwo Jima. We may have good men, but we never had better.

Until his death in 2006, he was a dedicated patriot who still took his oath to defend the Republic deadly serious. May God grant you the courage to do likewise.

Founder Stewart Rhodes

He is a former firearms instructor and former member of Rep. Ron Paul’s DC staff.

Stewart previously wrote the monthly Enemy at the Gates column for S.W.A.T. Magazine

Stewart graduated from Yale Law School in 2004, where his paper “Solving the Puzzle of Enemy Combatant Status” won Yale’s Miller prize for best paper on the Bill of Rights. He assisted teaching U.S. military history at Yale, was a Yale Research Scholar, and is writing a book on the dangers of applying the laws of war to the American people.
