Despite his hollow campaign protests, President Barack Obama has greatly expanded what President George W. Bush began. And through amendments to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, Congress largely ratified the secret Bush program.

So much intercepted information is now being collected from “enemies” at home and abroad that, in order to store it all, the agency last year began constructing the ultimate monument to eavesdropping. Rising in a remote corner of Utah, the agency’s gargantuan data storage center will be 1 million square feet, cost nearly $2 billion and likely be capable of eventually holding more than a yottabyte of data — equal to about a septillion (1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000) pages of text.

To that end, Olson launched “Project Lawrence,” an effort to increase cultural proficiencies — like advanced language training and better knowledge of local history and customs — for overseas operations. The program is, of course, named after the British officer, Thomas Edward Lawrence (better known as “Lawrence of Arabia”), who teamed up with Arab fighters to wage a guerrilla war in the Middle East during World War I. Mentioning Afghanistan, Pakistan, Mali, and Indonesia, Olson added that SOCOM now needed “Lawrences of Wherever.”

The partial audit he prompted revealed that close to $16 trillion was doled out to Euro-American insiders and their corporations in 2008 alone. That is more than the entire national debt. Nelson Hultberg: Absolutely. We have descended into the “rabbit hole” of Alice and Wonderland politically and philosophically. Up is down, and down is up under the collectivist worldview. “When I use a word,” said Humpty Dumpty to Alice, “it means just what I choose it to mean – neither more nor less.” The collectivists have so corrupted our language that the slavery of socialism is now a “new kind of freedom.” Marx understood all this very well. Corrupt the money and the language, and capitalism will fall. The statists are shameless in their shyster usage of words. And the masses are unable to see the semantic fraud involved. Thus with each passing decade, we drift further and further into total government. The status quo of statism that began in 1913 and solidified itself with FDR and LBJ is bankrupt. It has no answers. It destroys freedom and prosperity as tuberculosis destroys lungs and breath. Yet it continues to move us into the morass of political absolutism because the integrity of our money and the clarity of our language have been turned into tools of tyranny.

Pursuant to the tenth amendment to the United States constitution and this state’s compacts with other states, the general assembly declares that any federal law purporting to give federal employees the authority of a county sheriff in this state is not recognized by and is specifically rejected by this state and is declared to be invalid in this state.

But it’s going to take time and presence and commitment, and I think folks are worried that we go over there, we sacrifice our families and we work hard — but are we going to follow through? Or is this all going be for naught?”

Three more politicians spoke out with two democrats believing the citizens should be allowed to record and one republican stating they should not be allowed.

Then they all cast votes to see if the assembly rules could be suspended, but it was overwhelmingly voted down by almost two-thirds.

The rock band Staind did a 9-11 Benefit Concert in New York City tonight, to benefit the New York Police and Fire Widow’s and Children’s benefit fund. Once again, lead singer Aaron Lewis wore his Oath Keepers hat. All of the military, police and fire personnel here at Oath Keepers express our sincere thanks to Aaron, both for doing this benefit concert and also for wearing an Oath Keepers hat. We think it is very fitting for him to wear that hat during such a concert, since on 9-11 there were many who kept their oaths among those who died – men who were going into the burning towers and up those stairs while others were running out. Whenever you need an example of American courage, think of them.

I comb the late-night talk shows to find interesting guests and musical acts to record on my DVR. A couple days ago, I set up Tuesday nights Jimmy Kimmel Live show because the band Staind was performing. Wednesday morning I went to check it out, and as the band started the song on the outdoor stage with a huge crowd there, I realized Aaron Lewis, the lead singer, WAS WEARING AN OATH KEEPER HAT!!

James Jaeger is set to fire a big round across the bow of the so-called “two-party system”. This is a must-see film for all who are disillusioned about the Republican and Democrat lock on American politics. World premiere is Thursday, September 15, 2011 for SPOiLER – How a Third Political Party Could Win (featuring Chuck Baldwin, Pat Buchanan, G. Edward Griffin, Nelson Hultberg, Peter Lillback, John McManus, Edwin Vieira and John Williams).
