I am both honored and proud to join this organization of Real Americans

TomMassung1I took an oath at 17 years old on September 15, 1969 when I join the US Armed Forces of which I proudly served in for 20 years.  That oath was a lifetime oath to protect this country from ALL enemies foreign and domestic per the U.S. Constitution, it’s Amendments, and the Bill of Rights.

I am both honored and proud to join this organization of Real Americans.

Yours in service always,

Thomas L Massung Jr

I am proud to stand beside a man of your service to our country. I am a US Army Viet Nam era Veteran with service in the Nuclear Missle field. I was stationed overseas when president Kennedy was assainalted, and have since that time experienced horror on a daily basis as a State Trooper, following my return to the USA. I remember the Master Sergeant of my own unit, and then I am aware of your unwavering commitment to our nation, and I know the kind of patriot you are. I stand proudly with you in defnse of our constitution and our way of life. And, Sgt, I thank you for your service to our country. God help those who would believe we are less committed than we are.

Saddly Tom L Massung passed away on December 28, 2011. I knew him for many years and most days he was hard to get along with, but I would not wish an early death to anyone, may he rest in Peace.
I was his supervisor for many years in the USAF at RAF Alconbury England where together we supported the RF4C Phantom powered by the GE J79 Engine. Tom and I actually started at GE Aviation on the same day in 1989 but I got laid off in 1993 and was never able to get back on as a direct hired GE employee. However I do work within GE and enjoy the work I do.

My Prayers go out to Tom’s wife, children and step children whom I’m sure will all miss him, may your pain go away quickly leaving happy memories of years past with Tom.

It is with sadness & regret to hear of the death of Thomas L. Massung, jr. It was a shock. My heartfelt sympathy to his wife, children & FB friends/fans. Although I knew him on FB only & briefly, he was an interesting character. I felt, he loved life, country, and those who were close to him–wanting to protect all of the above. It’s strange to miss someone you didn’t really know. May the glory of life open a window of peace and comfort to those who mourn his loss and may he rest in peace. I believe even with those who might not agree, tho many do; it all counts in the memory log of life. He was young when he became involved in wanting to serve & young to die. He seemed serious in many ways; but had a mind of his own, as we all do. God Bless him & those who will miss his him or his pinions. Amen
Mike Solon writes some caring words in his honest assessment, of someone he knew. And it confirms that people should know others care about them, even if they disagree. Amen.
